On a night so beautiful and calm, to the extent it was almost suspicious. A lady walked through a garden, it was called the garden of death due to the amount of bodies beneath it but all she could see was beauty and excellence. She was adorned in exquisite scarlet garment, embodying timeless elegance, she took slow steps as her mind was heavy with thoughts. 'The Red moon is coming soon' she thought and sighed. For others this was a time to rejoice, as the new Alpha would be crowned. Her mate would become ruler. She was to be brimming with excitement but her face was pale and she looked rather lost. Because for her this was the time she would be separated from her mate. She knew the ritual wouldn't be a success, she cursed the gods for giving her this power and the ability to see the future, which never failed to bring her sadness over and over. Lui Feng

The next morning she almost screamed upon waking up but covered her mouth before her voice could get out.

She woke up to a devilishly handsome man lying at the side of her bed, she remembered him having someone treat her. Did he stay here to watch over her all night?

She stared at his face intently, a bit taken aback by the familiarity she felt. He looked like the most perfect creation she had ever seen. His inexplicable beauty couldn't be defined by words, how could someone look so perfect? God did have favorites.

She could have sworn she had seen this face before but how would she forget seeing such a handsome face, his hair was jet black and looked so silky, he would probably be able to sell any hair product. His nose and jaw were defined and to top it all off he looked majestic even while sleeping.

She took note of her unfamiliar surroundings which were exquisitely designed. Sighing softly she looked at her arm when she noticed all her bruises were gone. There was no medicine in the world that could heal that fast, was there?

She looked back at the man next to her and she heard him groan softly his eyes fluttering open. She moved back a bit creating some distance between them.

"Good morning beautiful", he flashed a smile and she could have sworn she heard angels. No, she had to get out of there, her sister and her parents would be waiting for her. The man here probably had no reason to keep her here, and even if he did she was leaving either way.

She still couldn't remember why she was here in the first place. Did she have an accident of some sort? But one thing was sure though, this man saved her and she probably hit her head somewhere.

"Umm... thanks for having me here but I have to go now, it was nice meeting you", she said and immediately stepped out of the bed cover, she was still wearing her clothes, thank God. She dashed for the door the next moment leaving the man dumbfounded for a second but he snapped out of it quickly.

"Li Jing!" he shouted desperation evident in his voice, she stopped at the sound of his voice. Wondering why she stopped she looked back at him and walked towards him, this man did help her and it would be rude to leave just like that.

"I appreciate your kindness in letting me stay the night and treating my wounds but I have to go. By the way, my name is Jiang Ying Yue, not Li Jing", said Ying Yue and she turned around to leave.

"Wait, at least stay for breakfast. I will send for some maids to take care of you, until then you can't leave even if you tried to", said Lui Feng then he winked at her, smirked, and left. She was dumbfounded at this man's shamelessness, it was just breakfast anyway. Why did she have a sense of trust towards this strange man though?

The next minute three maids walked in and ushered her into the bath. After that, they dressed her, did her hair, and put light makeup on her. They looked at her and seemed proud of their work, their master would be pleased.

They tied her golden blonde hair up and her milky white skin was perfect so they just made her face angelic, her big blue eyes were just the cherry on top. She also was in awe when she saw her face she looked beautiful but looking at herself in the mirror, she felt sad, she was so much leaner and her eyes were dull.

After a while, a maid walked in and took her to the dining hall. It was huge and it was well furnished and painted gold everything in the dining hall screamed money. It was probably the size of three of the Jiang's dining hall.

There were many others at the table all being handsome men, who seemed nervous and in awe of her appearance. What was this place? The atmosphere was slightly tense too.

There was only one seat left at the right-hand side of the middle of the table, no one had dared to start eating and everyone just stared at her all older members recognized her face but the newer members just gaped at her beauty. It was as if they had been blessed with the presence of an angel and none would dare to offend her.

Lui Feng sat there majestically trying to keep up his calm expression and waiting patiently for her to take a seat. Finally, she sat down and looked around trying her best to avoid eye contact. She noticed that only when Lui Feng started eating did everyone join him and she joined them too.

She ate slowly as she felt many eyes on her, the food was delicious but she felt her appetite dying down. Soon she couldn't take it anymore so she immediately cleared her plate, carried it and left the dining hall, and went to the kitchen the maids immediately collected the plate to clean it, the whole dining hall went silent at her actions.

She was so anxious to leave the dining hall that she forgot she was in a different environment. Why did she leave without waiting for everyone, they all probably thought she was someone raised without proper etiquette. Perfect, anyway she wasn't going to see them anymore, so she shouldn't worry so much.

"You seemed to be in a hurry", he said with a light chuckle as he walked towards her making her face immediately turn red with embarrassment. He smiled at this, they might be different personalities but they were basically the same person in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry for my behavior there but I'd like to leave now", she said firmly and gave him that cute pretty please look and he smiled inwardly.

"The door is wide open", he replied, and she immediately went towards the door by she was blocked by two hefty men she turned around and gave a cute pout and he signaled for the men to let her pass and she left to go outside where a driver was already waiting to take her to where ever her destination was.

"Aiguo", he said, and his Beta immediately appeared out of the shadows. "Follow her" and the next moment Aiguo disappeared back into the shadows. Then another wolf walked in.

"Alpha Lui Feng", he bowed his appearance reminding the alpha of the unfinished business that was supposed to be handled last night.

"Gather the men we're leaving", said the Alpha as a glow filled with murderous intent filled his eyes.
