CAN WE GO BACK?

Qiao Anxin washed her hands and fixed up her make-up before she left the restroom. She stepped out of the restroom and decided to just go back home for today.

She was already tired from dealing with Qiao Anhao and Chen Yucheng all day. Now she also has to deal with that annoying family tommorow.

She just wants to go back home and get a good night's sleep in preparation for the next day.

She was on her way back to the bar area where Ivan was waiting for her when a man bumped into her.

The man was obviously drunk so Qiao Anxin just wanted to ignore him.

But he called her name. "Anxin?"

Qiao Anxin turned to face the man. To her greatest surprise, it was Chen Yucheng.

She looked at Chen Yucheng who was so drunk that he could not even stand on his feet and she suddenly didn't know what to feel.

She had never thought of Chen Yucheng of a man that would get so drunk at a bar. After all, he had always been obsessed with keeping up his gentlemanly image when he was outside.

Even if he was a bastard under all that suit and image, he made sure to act like a gentleman when he was outside.

So....what could be troubling him so much that he even damned his priceless reputation and himself got drunk at the bar.

Of course Qiao Anxin wasn't really worried about Chen Yucheng. She was just looking for some gossip.

"Chen Yucheng? Why do we keep meeting like this? If you keep doing this, I'll have to think that you're following me!" Qiao Anxin said.

Chen Yucheng shook his head. He didn't seem like he heard the words that Qiao Anxin said. Instead, he reached out his hand to hold her hand but Qiao Anxin moved her hand away.

"Please watch your manners, Chen Yucheng!" Qiao Anxin said. Just because she was in the mood to laugh at him doesn't mean that she will let him touch her.

"Anxin...Anxin.... how did we get to this point?" Chen Yucheng asked. He seemed to be muttering to himself but Qiao Anxin heard him loud and clear.

"Well, I left my house and came to have a drink because I want to relax. I wanted to relieve myself and then I came to the restroom. As for you, I don't know you got here. I'm sure that involves you leaving your house first" Qiao Anxin said sarcastically. She knew that Chen Yucheng didn't mean how they got to the bar, but she really could not bother herself to grace his stupid question with an answer.

To her greatest surprise, Chen Yucheng started laughing when he heard her answer.

"Anxin...you still have your amazing sense of humour. You are so funny"

"...."

Qiao Anxin was speechless. Does he think that she wants to crack jokes with him?! She was being sarcastic alright?!

"You should call Qiao Anhao to come pick you up. Goodbye Chen Yucheng" Qiao Anxin said.

She turned to walk away but Chen Yucheng walked even faster and stood in front of her, stopping her from leaving.

"What are you trying to do Chen Yucheng?" Anxin asked. She wad starting to lose her patience with him.

"Anxin....I just want to ask you ...do you think ...do you think that we can go back to what we were before? If I can....if I can fix the mistakes that I made...do you think we can go back to before?" Chen Yucheng asked meekly.

Qiao Anxin's expression changed. Her face was dark with anger.

"Chen Yucheng, I get that you're drink but don't use that as an excuse to act like a gangster!"Qiao Anxin said.

She tried to walk away but Chen Yucheng stood in front of her without giving her a chance to leave.

"No, actually... I've been thinking about this a lot Anxin. I was the one who made mistakes. I was the one who let you down....can't you....as long as I can fix it...can we go back?"

"Chen Yucheng, you are already a married man! Please act like one!" Qiao Anxin said. Her face was red with anger.

Chen Yucheng stopping her and saying all of this trash for her was just what this day needed to officially make it a bad day!

"No... I'm not happy at all Anxin. I thought that I can bear with it. But I can't. I'm not happy at all. I don't...." Chen Yucheng reached out to grab Qiao Anxin's hand again and this time he did not give her a chance to escape.

Qiao Anxin tried to free herself but Chen Yucheng was surprisingly strong for a drunk man.

"What are you doing?! Let go of me!" Qiao Anxin demanded.

"Anxin...Anxin.... please just listen to me....I just need you to listen....""

"The lady already said that you should let go of her. Do you think that it's vert gentlemanly to take advantage of a woman who is your sister in law like this CEO Chen?"

Qiao Anxin felt a whole lot of relief when she saw Lu Ming walking towards them.

She had no idea why Lu Ming was here, but she was happy to see him.

Chen Yucheng had to let go of Qiao Anxin when Lu Ming walked up to the both of them.

"CEO Lu" Chen Yucheng called.

"Do you like the thrill of cheating so much CEO Chen? You did that when you were with CEO Qiao and now that you're married you're trying to hit on her again? Is the grass always greener on the other side for you?" Lu Ming asked. He did not give Chen Yucheng any face or dignity at all.

Chen Yucheng was already half sober at this point. He understood Lu Ming's words well but he also knew that Lu Ming was someone that he can't afford to offend.

"You've misunderstood CEO Lu. My wife just had something she wanted to tell her. I'll leave now, CEO Lu" Chen Yucheng said.

He turned and left defeatedly.

"Bastard!"
