The Beast race

The race is made up of all kinds of different humanoid beasts of all shapes, sizes, varieties, and species as well. If there was an animal that existed normally in nature and was not magical in origin like with the Demon race. Then there was and/or a species that would have been a member of the Beast race. However, the area of the beast race has changed over time they eventually settled down on the continent of Nuna. Thus Nuna has become known as the Beast continent where all the Beast live and call home. The only exception is the newly discovered continent of Amasia where all the races are exploring attempts to stake claims either for themselves or their own race.

The Beast race they were good at magic in the ancient past but that was not a good thing since they were actually horrible at magic. They could barely handle channeling the mana in their bodies to use as magic safely at all. They could barely manage the low level stuff but even that took too long to do. Not only that it proved deadly and made them a much weaker race overall at the time. There were many cases in the ancient past of beasts blowing themselves up from attempting to use magic too often or just at all. Those that survived literally becoming a mana bomb and not becoming cripple for life were praised and thought of in high regard. Magic was the culture and the focus was self destructive could lead to the further weakening or even downfall of their race. They were then shown that magic was not their thing it was being attackers who used melee attacks with their claws and fangs and then later on weapon based combat. From there all the beasts hyper specialized in just melee and weapon combat alone become purely attackers that were not just masters at it from birth but grandmasters at it. However, having a grandmaster level at birth meant that while they were better than the strongest human could ever be by default, the strongest beast was even stronger than that as they had grandmaster level as their base and work to become even stronger from there

Thus in the current era, no Beast can use magic or even mana at all. If they even attempt to channel the mana in their bodies for anything other than their role as the attackers of any party. It was to the point where when forced to so do they would explode from merely attempting to do so every time without fail.

They are natural at physical combat and thus would be shown that and leaned into that role way too much. They were naturally horrible at magic but only has the second weakest resistance to it of all the races. Their natural defense was second highest amongst the races as they were beaten out by the Dragon race. However, speed was another area where they dominated over the other races. They were not able to take a hit as dragons could but they could dodge whatever came their way. Also, counter their poor magical resistance as magic that can not hit you can not affect you.
