Hunting Down Bandits
Since Ina entered the Genesis Core Realm, the others did not plan to remain behind her. Using the resources given to them, they had taken as much time as they are allowed to cultivate, slowly reaching the Genesis Core Realm.
Unfortunately, Ryker could not do that, as his cultivation is sealed by himself. So, he decided to support them in their attempt to reach the Genesis Core Realm. For that, they needed resources, and one of the best way to get resources is by buying them.
For that, money is required, Genesis Gold to be exact. Middle-Grade Genesis Gold to be more accurate. However, most is spent to rent the mansion. He did not regret it a bit as the worldly energy make up for the money, but still, they will need more Genesis Gold in the future.
For that end, they need to get more, and one of the best way is by taking missions. He could also sold some pills and talismans, as they are one of the more sought-after items. Especially as he already Rank 4 in all the 5 major professions.
However, he don't plan on doing it anytime soon, as there are a better occasion to sell his pills and talismans aside from the usual channel of the Craftsman Alliance.
Currently, he is at the Adventure Guild, trying to find a suitable mission for himself and Ina. Since Ina is stronger in cultivation-wise, he believed he could let her go on her own.
So, the two of them trying to find a mission, or two for themselves. After searching, they find one they are interested in.
"Oh, you plan to hunt down the bandits. Good riddance for those guys. They are a nuisance at best, and terror at worst," the receptionist exclaimed, curses flying out of his mouth at the mention of bandits.
"So, we will get going now," not planning to listen to the rants, both Ryker and Ina left the counter, as the receptionist continue to curse out the existence of bandits.

They soon part way, as Ryker's mission took him to the east, while Ina's take her to the west of the forest near the capital.
"There should be some bandits around here," Ryker muttered before diving into the shadow. Now undetectable unless through the use of a powerful Soul, Ryker head towards the location of the last sighting.
His mission is to took out a bandit group, with a Genesis Core bandit as the leader. Since his strength is at the peak of Genesis Foundation, it seem the receptionist find it acceptable to let him face the bandit group.
However, his true strength is at the Genesis Source, so it would not be hard for him to handle them. But, he need to find them first.

Surprisingly, finding them is not hard. They must had decided to remain in the area to rest and recover before searching for a new hunting ground, in case they are found by guards or adventurers.
Since they decided to stay, it was easy for Ryker to detect them, the bandits decided to take refuge in a nearby cave. They have a Formation Master in their group it seem, as he could sense Formation covering the cave entrance, making their presence harder to detect.
However, he is a Rank 4 Formation Master, allowing him to see through the formation.
"Should I destroy it, or should I-" his voice trailed off as an idea come to mind. A wicked smile, one that could send shivers down the spine of the bandits formed on his handsome face.

"Another good day for us!" one of bandits said, before drinking wine straight from the bottle.
"You said it brother!" another bandit replied, following the footstep of the first bandit.
The rest soon followed, showing that the two hold the highest status. Aa they began to feast, they talked about their latest attack.
"That is one of the best loots we get!"
"Yeah, it's too bad there are no girls,"
"Yeah, what a let off! If there is a beauty in there, this celebration would be complete!"
"True. Maybe we should find a village and take some women?"
"You fools! Don't do that unless you want to die?!"
"Ish boss, we are just joking. Besides, there a-" a sword pierced through the bandit's head, killing him in seconds. The bandit group barely recover when a sword ray cut three more bandits, leaving the group to just 4 people.
Realizing this, the leader almost leap into rage, but was able to remain calm at the last second.
'He is strong. He can defeat many people at once. But as long as I join in, the advantage would go back to me,' his thought process appeared and dissappear before doing the best course of action, charging towards Ryker.
Normally, charging towards a foe will grant certain advantage, namely momentum and surprise. The fact that the person charging is at the Genesis Core, while the defending is at the Genesis Foundation made it so that the Genesis Foundation should be badly injured, if not dead.
This normally hold true, if not for Ryker being involved.
As the blade of the bandit sailed to his neck, Ryker easily block it, dispersing the qi formed from the attack. Seeing his attack easily be nullified, he was not ready when a sword stabbed the bandit in the gut, before eviscerating him.
Seeing their strongest killed so quickly, the ones who remained alive tried to flee, but as they did so, the formation reveal the surprise Ryker prepared for them.
When they touch the formation, they find themselves blasted by lightning, striking them down on the spot. The lightning strike was equal to a Genesis Foundation expert attack, which is not enough to kill the bandits, who were in Genesis Foundation Realm as well.
However, the lack of firepower was substitute with number, as more lightning appear and strike the bandits. By the time the Formation stopped reacting, none of the bandits were alive, the remains charred.
Ryker walked to the bodies of the bandits before storing it, both as proof and to collect more rewards for the number of bandits he killed.
"Let see, what else should I do," he said to himself, before taking another looked at his badge. Aside from the current mission, he also get another mission to investigate the disappearance of a group of adventurer.
