Chaos In Auction House

Inside Room A-9, a decripted old man can be heard laughing, eying his prize.

"With this, my injuries can finally be healed," he exclaimed before taking a bite out of something.

That something turned out to be the legs of the one who used the Room, before they met their untimely demise from the old man.

"This should be a trap from that Crown Prince though," he swallow the human flesh, eating it like it was mere chicken meat.

"Hopefully, I will get the Spirit Oak Fruit first,but it does not matter if I don't get them.

I can always find another way to heal myself," the old man talk to himself before looking at the skulls of the group he slaughtered.

"They should come here any minute now," he mused to himself.

Knocking can be heard outside the room. He opened it, just to see the Noble Realm guard of the Crown Prince.

"You again," was the last word he spoke off before the bodies, or what remained of the previous occupants of the room exploded.

"We are outside. Why do we go-" beforeashia could finished, Ryker pushed all of his women to the back, ensuring he could protect them.

Taking out the amulet, he used the power of Duke Zalrus, summoning a manifestation that contained power at the Noble Realm.

Aside from that, he used his greatest defensive Technique to at once.

"Heavenly Tortoise Dome!"

"Mountain Rising Barrier!"

"Imperial Ocean Bubble!"

Using three Defensive Techniques at once, he manage to create a powerful barrier, to the surprise of the guards.

But before they could do anything, Room A-9 exploded, sending powerful shockwaves to the room next to it, destroying both of them and damaging the one at the bottom and top of it as well.

"Your Majesty!" screaming at the future ruler of the Kingdom she was in was a horrible idea, but she could keep her calm in such event.

"Ask the other Noble Realm to assist with the capture of the one who was inside the room that exploded just now.

"Who is the criminal?" she could not help but asked.

"Devourer Gulag," two sentence, two sentence that made Sophia stopped in her track, cold sweat forming on her brows.

"The traitor at the peak of Noble Realm?" she would have scream if the person in front of her is not the Crown Prince of Birak Kingdom.

"Unfortunately, yes. He had been sighted in Elkom District and my guard and I have been sent to hunt him down.

At the moment, he had been injured when he was surrounded by large number of Noble experts of the Kingdom, but he managed to get away.

However, his injuries are rather serious and he would need something strong to heal it. Hence, the reason the Spirit Oak Fruit is used as bait,"

Sophia quickly understand the plan of the Crown Prince. Unlike the other Noble experts participating in the auction, the Devourer would used all his Spirit Gold to get the item that would heal himself.

As for where he obtained it, he could easily attack caravans or hunt other Noble experts, so it would be easy to for him to obtain the Spirit Gold needed for the Spirit Oak Fruit.

Sophia grit her teeth. To be used in such way, she despised it, though she knew it is likely one of the last resort of the Crown Prince after so many plans to deal with Gulag failed.

'Wait, isn't the room next to the one that exploded have Ryker and his group?' realizing the danger he was in, Sophia head straight to the room, only to see burning room, and... Ryker coughing blood but thankfully outside room.

Behind him are his women, all feeding him potions and pills. As for the cause of the mess, Gulag find himself being surrounded by Nobke experts of the city.

Ryker wipe the blood coming out of his mouth. When the explosion occurred, it possess the power of a Noble expert, one stronger than Duke Zalrus.

Realizing the possible danger they would be in, he did not hesitate in casting three Defensive Techniques that would compliment one another, allowing him to save himself and the others, including Ilun and one of the guards.

However, he paid the price as the explosion cause a serious backlash when the Defensive Techniques were destroyed, causing some internal damage, though nothing to horrible and could not be fixed in a short time.

"Law of Life," he uttered to himself, transforming his qi into Life Qi, allowing the internal injuries to be mended quickly.

He looked at the old man that caused it all, as he fought against a guard wearing armor. The old man seemed to be pressed but it was likely due to the presence of the other Noble experts of the Kingdom, making him go antsy as he looked around in slight fear.

However, Ryker instinct told him there are more to the man. With no hesitation, he used the amulet's energy once more, giving him the power of a Noble expert at the first stage.

Slowly, he used Death Qi, shaping it into a spear before infusing it with both Ice and Fire Qi.

"Frostfire Death Spear!" he shouted, throwing the spear at the shoulder of the old man, right when he took out a talisman.
