"I can't believe I helped you make a song," Zoe exclaimed with a bright smile with stars practically shining in her eyes. We had spent the past hour recording finer things from start to finish.

Turns out Zoe is quite tech-savvy managing to help me with the editing process of the song. Rex knew how he wanted the song to sound and she could turn those ideas into reality. Turns out the guy has quite the ear when it comes to songs managing to hear most mistakes. This resulted in us having to re-record multiple parts of the song but it was worth it.

The finished project perfectly conveys all of the emotions that I felt while singing. Plus this melodic storytelling style suits me allowing me to use my vocal range and versatility in my lyrics. I chose not to feature Rex on this song for two distinct reasons. One with Zoe here it would be weird for my persona to shift so much in front of her.

I've only met her today and don't want to creep her out with Rex taking control, after all, he is not the friendliest guy. Not that he is rude but he and I are cut from the same cloth. Meaning that we both are comfortable chilling with dangerous people an example was yesterday with Leo.

I don't know what he has experienced that allows him to be that fearless but he puts people on edge when he gets too serious. The second reason is for the simple fact I need to grow as an artist on my own. Rex and I have no plan on forming a duo which would be virtually impossible, especially when we have to perform live in the future.

"Yeah, thanks for the help," I told her genuinely grateful for her help throughout the process of recording the song. Weirdly I didn't feel awkward when singing in front of her but that's properly because I forgot about her presence when I started recording.

"no problem, what do we do now?" she replied with an eager expression looking ready to do more. looks like she greatly enjoyed the process of creating the song to the point that she lost all her reservations for me. We had gotten quite close over the past hour as she made quite a few suggestions for editing the song.

"I've got more songs to record if you are up for it?" I told her not sure if she wanted to continue since we already spent two hours on this. "Sure but we should probably get some food," She responded causing my stomach to growl reminding me of the fact that I vaebt had breakfast yet and it was already past noon. Safe to say that my body is screaming out for some much-needed nourishment, especially after my workout earlier.

"Do you want to make something or just order something," I asked her not at all confident in my culinary skills. What can I say I've never cooked anything other than spaghetti and even then I couldn't get it to stick on the wall when I threw it.

"I'm fine with ordering," She stated wasting no time pulling out her phone and directly hopping onto Uber Eats. Not even bothering to ask what I wanted to eat she directly placed an order at a restaurant called Bell's. Since I've never had the luxury of being a picky eater I didn't mind and just pulled out a bill 20 for the food.

"Let's go gang, send in some suggestions as to how we should react next," An energetic guy in his mid-20s exclaimed with enthusiasm into a camera above. He's got quite the handsome features decked out which are visible tattoos past his tank top.

"Anyone else Looking forward to the Made in America festival," he stated speaking into a mike as the monitor in front of him continued to flash with notifications. Currently, over a hundred thousand people are watching him live as he plays games on Twitch.

[John21_Cena donates $5: Can't wait to see JAY-Z live he the goat fr,]

[KingBruece Donates $2: Never mind him JCole is the most underrated MC in the game, Play some Cole,]

[Gorrila_J20 Donates $50: What's good CJ, Listen to First Day Out by Drako, I promise it's worth it,]

"Thanks for the support gang, You all make some great points but King Bruce is on to something when it comes to JCole," he enthusiastically stated directly playing one of his songs for his chat to hear. Vibing to the song for a couple of moments it took him a couple of seconds to refocus on the chat.

"A big thank you to my boy Gorrilla_J20 $50 is huge man, Let's check out this Drako you're talking about," He stated with a huge grin excited after receiving $50 all at once. It's not the most amount he has made but usually, it's the little payments that add up for his dinner.

It took him a couple of moments to find the song pausing a second over Gucci mane for a second. "this song must be good if your send is 50, let's check it out fam," He commented with excitement pressing play as letting the intro sound through his speakers.

"Rex done made this beat, baby

These niggas prayed on my downfall

These niggas prayed on my downfall

On all ten, bitch I stood tall

Show these disloyal niggas how to ball"

"Wow wow, not gonna lie this shit fire and I've only heard ten seconds guys," he stated with excitement jumping up from his chair and started analysing what he saw in the video. This continued throughout the first half of the song as he started analysing the lyrics and interacting with his audience.

His energy continued to increase as the song continued, especially when the base dropped. When Rex first Rapped he went even crazier dancing standing up and getting sturdy to the song. His genuine reaction to the song hyped up his chat even further. By the time the song had finished his viewer count had jumped to 200 thousand with donations raining down on the screen.

"Drako if you are watching I'm a fan now, Chat let's send him some love, can't wait to see what he drops next," He stated with a smile as he proceeded to share his views that he subscribed to Drako's Chanel and gave the video a thumbs up.

He continued to interact with his chat for a while but in the end, he chose to hop back on Cod. His chat didn't care though since he was quite amazing at the game giving them an entertaining play-by-play. CJ wasn't the only one who stumbled upon Rakim's songs as more and more people stumbled upon links on various social media platforms.

Twitter especially seemed to be doing crazy with the song as they posted snippets of it. They shared their reactions after seemingly finding a hidden gem. For the hip-hop community, this song seemed to be a breath of fresh air as a new artist stepped on the scene. Most people were just there to enjoy the show and somehow ended up watching the YouTube video.
