Showing of His Strength

"Now, that everyone has taken their place, the judge will begin the match," the announcer said, before leaving the arena.

The challenger had taken to surround the young man, his attitude irked them off. They don't plan on letting him run away, instead planning to beat him up so that he knows the difference between them.

As for Ryker, he was at the center of the arena, looking at his challenger with a hint of boredom. He highly doubted they would be a threat to him unless he decided to sleep and let them attack him during that time, which has a very low chance of happening.

Still, the number of challengers would be a challenge as he didn't fight to kill, so he might enjoyed the fight. And beating up the servant of Horo Alquim. One couldn't forget the most important reason after all.

The judge soon floated on top of the arena. He glanced at the challengers, not even bothering to look at Ryker before starting the match,

  "Begin!,"

When the match started, one of Horo's subordinates charged at Ryker. He planned to knock him out, getting the entry token plus a lot of resources. As for beating the young man up, he would throw him to others. Let them do the menial work and all.

When he get close enough, he threw a powerful punch that could cripple someone at the 8th Stage. He smiled at the thought of seeing the young man's look of agony. Except that instead of hearing bones being broken, he felt his fist get stopped by something small.

He looked down, only to be absolutely shocked. "Is this all your strength?  If that is so, then I'm absolutely disappointed, " the young man who blocked his powerful punch with a single finger said before he returned the favor.

Instantly, he felt a fist buried into his gut, making him cough saliva before he was sent flying, hitting the wall of the arena. He looked at the monster, who looked at him with disinterest before darkness claimed his vision.

The crowd went silent. Seeing a peak Genesis Foundation expert being sent flying by someone who is supposed to be weaker than him is a total shock for them all. With the exception of a few.

The announcer began to cackle, making the crowds and the participants woke up from their brief stupor.

"Oh, did I forget to tell you, that this young man's strength is equal to 2nd Stage Genesis Core expert?"

-x-

As they watched the supposed 'punching bag' sending one of the peaks Genesis Foundation flying, the crowd went wilder.

"So there is a reason someone at the 8th Stage is there,"

"He has a strength equal to a 2nd Stage Genesis Core expert?! Who would believe such a thing?!"

"Well, he currently beating two other experts with ease so, it must be true,"

As the crowd talked to themselves, Ryker had already sent four experts, not including the first one, flying to the nearest wall. Unfortunately, the others quickly realize how dangerous the young man in front of them is, so the first thing they try to do is keep their distance.

Ryker let them, after all, he wanted to make it a challenge for himself, as well as a spectacle for the crowds, especially his siblings and lovers. Oh, who was he kidding, he does it for his family and not one of the clowns watching the show, even though he wanted to punish two people for the night, one in a more intimate manner.

The challengers put their distance, warily looking at him. Seeing how he didn't pay attention to them made them glad and a bit irritated. Even if the young man is strong, he still needs to pay attention to them!

The group at the south part of the arena nodded discretely. They channeled their qi, before unleashing a powerful qi burst. Ryker merely turned his head at the attack before making a gentle swipe. The swipe eradicated the attack, dissipating it into a mere breeze.

Seeing how the powerful attack being blocked so nonchalantly silenced both the challengers and crowds. Ryker took the chance when they distracted to get closer to them. When he got close enough, only then did they realize the danger they were in.

Upon realizing this, they tried to flee, only to be sent flying to the nearest wall. One of the retreating experts used a technique before trying to run toward another group, only to have his leg pulled by the young man and thrown to another challenger. A swift kick sent them flying away.

One of Horo's subordinates shivered. The fact Ryker was beating them up without even trying had nearly made him fall to his knees. Only the fear of being caught by the young man had made him try to remain standing.

He, along with the others tried to blast him with their qi and some technique, hoping it would be enough to wear him down. Unfortunately, it made things worse as the attack merely caused dust clouds to float in the air.

The subordinate tried to run away but his ankle was grabbed by the monster of a young man, who gave him a devilish grin.

"No! No! It was not supposed to be this way!" the son of Duke Alquim screamed as he watched his men being beaten left and right. The newest insult is when the young man uses one of his men as a weapon, literally swinging him around and sending the others flying.

From his subordinate's expression, it clearly looked like he wanted to die or at least be eliminated, something he was sure wouldn't happen anytime soon.

"Look at that! The champion had shown some innovation. Lacking a weapon, he decided that his opponent would make a perfect weapon. Truly, someone you don't want to mess with," if not for the fact he was not at his home, plus there were some guards of the Kingdom present, he would have the announcer executed.

Unfortunately, he couldn't do such a thing so he was forced to endure the announcer's words as more people were beaten to a pulp by the young man he had a grievance with.

Ryker casually blocked another attack easily, his counterattack was blocked by the combined might of three experts. He didn't look fazed, blocking an attack coming from his back before punching in the direction of the attack.

A loud gasp and the sound of a body hitting a wall tell him he had not missed. The three in front of him currently shivering, retreating slowly as he comes closer and closer. They then lose their composure, running away as quickly as possible.

Ryker turned his head, suddenly finding himself in an empty arena. The judge quickly confirmed his thoughts,

  "Winner, Ryker!"
