While Ryker was unaware of the talk between the patriarch, elder, and ancestor of the Hal Family, he had already left the Estate. He had given his siblings and lovers a hug as well as reasons for him to leave the place.
While some of the younger ones felt saddened by his departure, he quickly comforted them on how the separation was a short one, until there were no more people dared to vie him for the loot he gained from the secret realm.
However, until the issue was over, he would not allow his siblings and lovers to stay close to him, as doing so would just put them in tremendous danger. With him being the lone bait, he believed he would stand a chance against the mercs, as none of them had reached the Genesis Source realm.
He doubted they would make their move during the day, as doing so would lead them to being caught by the guards, something they wouldn't want to happen. They would likely make their move during the night when the patrol began to dwindle.
While he couldn't remain awake all the time, he still has a trump card, the defensive formation he asked to be upgraded. During his absence, the Hal Family had asked for the Formation Master to continue his work.
Because of his contribution, even the Noble Family had come and asked for the Formation Master to go above the agreement, even offering a much more substantial reward in exchange for the creation of a new defensive formation.
The Formation Master had quickly agreed, the improvement on the defensive formation led to it being able to block an attack of a Genesis Core expert, maybe even a Genesis Source expert when said expert was playing around and not trying his best.
With such defense, even if he brought back his family, the mercs wouldn't be able to do a thing. But it still meant his family had to stay inside for the duration, so it would be constraining for them. So it was better for him to be alone as he could protect himself much better.
With that in mind, he left the estate, heading towards his house, preparing himself for the very likely break-in attempt that would happen in the near future.

A group of people walked towards a house on one of the better streets. They looked around, searching for signs of guards. Realizing there were no guards, the group entered the house's area. However, when they get deeper into the yard, a formation appears around them.
"Spread out!" one of them shouted. The group scattered though it didn't stop their fate. Even as they tried to flee from the ranges of the formation, it was something that they couldn't outrun, as most of them were in the Genesis Foundation realm.
As for the killing formation, it was something that could even kill a peak Genesis Core expert so the group died immediately, unable to get even close to the inhabitants of the house. As for Ryker, he remained asleep, unaware of the massacre outside until a much later time.

Ryker heads outside the city, already accepting a mission from the Adventure Guild. Lisha had been the one to meet with him, flirting, or trying to with the young man. He had refused most of her attempts, though considering his lovers, they likely tried to include her in his harem.
He headed towards one of the more dangerous areas near the capital but with more precious resources in the area. Behind him were several mercenaries, all trailing after him. When they heard that a mere peak Genesis Foundation realm had gained the most, they had the same thought, kill the person and grab whatever he got.
When he entered the area, a large swath of forest filled with powerful beasts, the group appeared behind him, with some running ahead of him, hoping to cut off his escape route.
"Hand over everything you have and we will let you go!" one of the mercs yelled at him. Ryker looked at the person with slight confusion, mostly because the group was made of people at the Genesis Foundation realm with no Genesis Core experts in their rank.
"Really, with your meager strength?" he mocked them. The leader snorted, "Just because there are rumors of your strength, doesn't mean it was true. In fact, you must exaggerate your accomplishments, making those fools believe the tales of your strength.
But not us! We knew it was a lie as no way someone as young as you could be at the peak of the Genesis Foundation realm. So hand over eve-" the man didn't finish as Ryker showed his Genesis Core while killing the people around him without even blinking.
The man watched in shock as he realized that the so-called 'rumors' were not only true but slightly outdated as they didn't say anything about the person in front of him being a Genesis Core expert.
"Wait! I will be your servant if you let me-" The man did a quick 180 but Ryker didn't pay it any mind as he killed the man easily. He scoffed at the corpses, "Only a fool would believe you,"

Once again, another group tried to enter the yard. However, they had come prepared, bringing a Formation Master to neutralize the formations surrounding the house.
"There, that is the last one. Be careful, the person inside will notice something went wrong," the formation master warned, only to receive a dismissive snort from the leader.
"What could a mere brat at the Genesis Foundation realm do to an expert at the peak of Genesis Core?" the man asked, before laughing out loud along with his men. The formation master soon followed after, which would be the last thing he did.
As loud 'squelch' was heard when the formation master's head was brutally crushed, the other mercenaries were barely able to react to the quick death.
"What a mere Genesis Foundation expert could do to a peak Genesis Core, huh? What about a Genesis Core expert do to that then," a Genesis Core soon exited Ryker's body. Realizing he might have bitten more than he could chew, the leader didn't waver as he let out his own Genesis Core.
"You must be desperate if you took out your Genesis Core. Then I will send you to the afterlife," the two Genesis Core clashed with each other, resulting in one being destroyed quickly.
"How did you do it?!" the leader said, the outcome didn't go the way it was supposed to be, namely, his opponent Genesis Core should be the one to be destroyed.
Ryker didn't bother answering, merely moving his Genesis Core to slam at the leader. The rest of his men soon followed his fate.
