In the middle of the crisis, two leaders were drinking alcohol. Baratum was chugging the tequila like it's water. He shouted in satisfying notion.

"Haahhh~ I like this one, you really have a good taste in alcohol."

The Emperor nodded. Baratum was the type of person that would never say no to a free liquor. To entice the man, he must put his greatest wine on the line. Still, he didn't care, the wine was nothing compared to the approval of Baratum. Besides, this may have been his last time drinking.

He knew that the Capital was in a grave situation but instead of succumbing to fears and anxieties, he smiled. This was the moment that he always like, the thrill of living.

"Hahaha, since you gave me this sweet alcohol. I'll hear your story. Make sure that your story is interesting, I'll throw you if it's not."

He shrugged, he drunk another mouthful, and wipe his lips. It's seemed like he would have a good time.

The Emperor opened his mouth.

"Remember the time when the Facatians tried to invade us?"

He said and Baratum chuckled.

"Gahaha, yes I remember those cockroaches, they attacked us thinking that the government was in confusion but their army was turned to smothered and died encircled by us. Gahaha, it was a funny thing."

He laughed, just like him, Aquila smirked. The King of Facatia declared war but they were the ones who destroyed. On that campaign, there were only four major armies that the Empire sent. It was Marquis Fillan, Duke Zarasa, Count Mellwood, and Baratum's mercenaries.

These four trampled the country and took their treasures. They killed the royalty in front of the citizens and conquered their land. Now, it's part of the territory of Duke Zarasa.

The Guild Master couldn't control his crackling and slammed the table. That war was the most iconic because the Facatia was full of cowards nobles, when they attacked their place, these people immediately surrender making the royal family as laughing stock.

He breathed fresh air and conditioned his emotions.

"And? What is the reason why you are saying this?"

"Maria, she's a Facatia Princess, his father, the King, sacrificed her to me."

"Yes, I know that. In fact, she was the reason why we easily won. She said every secret, nook, and cranny, that the nobles were scared of. "

However, he didn't think that George was the ringleader of this ruckus, that man was flimsier than a cat!!

"Yes, I know that I'm not a good father."

"But your attitude was different when it comes to Aria, anyway how was she? Her age was enough to have a lover, do you have a prospect?"

Aquila glinted.

"Don't f*cking said that word. Aria can only marry a man that can conquer the world."

"Tch, you and your damn dream..."

Aquila recalled the man that endured his torture. Christopher didn't speak his secret, Aquila saw that the man had courage.

He sighed.

'If he had at least a quarter of his brother's talent, then I would agree but he's a man that had the curse of Faux Pas. He doesn't have the strength to protect my daughter...'

He thought.

Christopher was an Awakener but he's not an attack-type. He could use his Gift to see the future but it's not enough, all the more that his ability was inconsistent.

He couldn't exactly predict the future, just like what happened yesterday.

Aquila thought about his daughter. Aria was a beautiful woman just like her mother, her lovely brunette hair and gorgeous face could mesmerize any man… If she didn't have the tendency of being arrogant and pretentious.

He sipped the wine never thinking that his daughter was kidnapped again.

Based on the scenario that he made, Marlon would fight the followers of Light in the Secret Passage. Pablo and Julian would face a foreign Master together with Duke Zarasa.

And Yuusha, the protagonists must fight George. George was the antagonist of this volume. He was the reason for the explosion and he used his knowledge and told all that he knew to the Temple. He said how Aquila retained his life even though his lifespan should be short. He gave all of the information he had.
