"this way please sweetie," she said to me and took me behind a curtain

"yes well MY daughter and I have a bit of catching up to do so we thought it would be the best before she spends time by her friend"

"a friend, I guess she can't wait to get away from you either" I didn't hear my mother answer but I did hear the shop door and close again, I got the dress on in a hurry and hurried back out, my mother was still standing there with an annoyed looking Alison.

"Mona" Alison said could you please help this gentleman so that he can leave my appointment" I followed her gaze and saw Lucis standing against the wall.

"Actually," I said getting Alison's attention "I invited him," I said folding arms

"and what made you think that was appropriate, I mean you are getting in and out of dresses"

"I'm her boyfriend" Lucis suddenly said looking at me as he said it

"Her what?" Alison said breathlessly, "this girl is with that idiot of a doctor"
