In a very dim-lit office, there is a figure seated at a desk near the window. The office was filled with silence with nothing but the steady click of a pen accompanied by soft and steady breathing. The only light source in the whole room is the dim light from a desktop on the table. The room itself was incredibly large. With pillars on the sides. The floor with a carpet, in an unknown color due to the darkness. The room is nearly completely barren with life and movement with the only exception of the man at the desk. The man is completely covered by the shadows even though he is facing the door the light only showing his arm which is holding a cigarette with a click at the opposite arm. The man was just smoking his cigarette when he then turned around to face outside a huge window and into the night sky. The silence was then broken as three knocks echoed from the huge ornamented doors.
The doors were opened by a woman, she was around her early twenties she stood around 5'10 feet, she was in a neat work suit with a skirt which had a hidden zipper on the side, the suit hugged her body tightly and she had her hair in a ponytail as she wore an expressionless face.
"It's time sir, they are ready to see you." The man then took a large whiff from his cigarette and blew a large amount of smoke as he then crushed the cigarette at an ashtray and stood up. He then took the suit and put it on as he then walked out of the room. The light beam from the hallway filled the room and the man was 6'5 feet tall. Despite his age he was well built, his grey hair was in an Ivy League haircut, and had a fade at his sides. He had a greying beard and was a bit hairy and the most prominent aspect of him are large scars on the right side of his face with a large one starting at his cheekbone and ending at the bottom of his lips, ending at the bottom of his lips. He walks out of the room with the woman following behind him. they were then walking through a hallway silently, the hallways if compared to the Agrest mansion are just colored grey with only a red carpet as the only similarity. They then arrived in a room, the woman opened it and it revealed a large council room with 7 people seated at a circular table in the middle and when they saw the man they all stood up and bowed down in respect and sat down.
One man from them spoke. "It is good to have you back sir. We are happy to see you again," he said with a slight tint of relief in his voice.
The man instead of seating down then started to pace around the room behind each person from the table. "Now, from my little time away I discovered a tiny little problem when I came back, I found out that the syndicate that I worked so hard for which I expected to be fine turned out to be in ....shambles." The man said as he emphasized the word 'shambles'. The people in the room adjusted themselves in discomfort, and the man then continued. " And somehow, I also found out that there was a failed attempt of assassination on the son of Agrest, which now made them set them in motion." The man then stopped behind a female seated. He then started to walk towards her and leaned beside her ear. "And it seemed to be your operative Ms. Ravien." Ms. Ravien then closed her eyes trying to maintain herself from shaking. "Now Ms. Ravien, please don't tell me that this 'mishap' will ever happen again, for I don't want you to be useless now would I?" The man then leaned back and walked towards his chair and faced them all. "Gentlemen, Ladies, we are here to bring change, every one of you is an important key role and they have enjoyed their victory long enough. If being the monsters are what it takes to accomplish the goal, then we will be the horrors they fear. We draw the line where we want to draw, we all paid the price to be the monsters, then let's do our part.''
"Jacob!" The man said as a man stood up." Yes sir." he replied. "Gather the boys, we're going hunting." The man then started to turn his back towards them and started walking out as Jacob just nodded and called someone over the phone. And before he walked out he said one last thing to the rest of them. "Proceed with the plan, no more mistakes." As he leaves the room, the people who were sitting down then gave out a sigh of relief, and now discussed the plan given to them.
Sorry for being gone for a while, but now I'm back and I will try to release a chapter every week
