A Visit

After Mari left the school, she right away went to the Agrest Mansion to talk to Aiden. However, when she got there, she was informed by the butler that Aiden is in the Hospital. Mari was shocked. She was only comforted when the butler told her that the young master is now in a stable condition and resting to regain his strength. Knowing that it would be impossible for Mari to get through security in Aiden's hospital suite, the butler volunteered to accompany Mari to the Hospital.

As Mari sits in the Agrest car, she notices that the streets of Paris are lively again. The scene of the usual traffic, tourists, and people rushing to work are back to full force. Diners on the cafes are still gossiping about the spectacular ball at the Agrest mansion. People are talking about how magical that night was and how handsome were the butlers and staff in the mansion. The shops and the stand were playing the same music played during the ball.

Mari was not excused from this mood. Her eyes brighten as she recalls the events of that ball. But as soon as she remembers that she is going to the hospital to visit the endure Aiden, her smile turned into a frown.

Back in the hospital, Aiden still has some bandages on some parts of his body. Flashes of last Friday's attack still flashes to his mind. Parts of his body. Specially his back still hurts as he moves or tries to get up from bed.

Aiden grunts as he tried to get himself in a comfortable position and he struggles painfully. "That guy really got me bad, my legs are so sore." .' Aiden thought as he finally got to his desired position. He then reaches out for the necklace on the side table. 'Who was she? Why did she save my life?'

As Aiden thought of this, he slowly looked out to his hospital window and stared at the panoramic view of the city. 'I really want to repay her for saving my life, I wish I can see her again.'

As Aiden said this his hospital door open and entered a nurse who is carrying his breakfast.

"Good Morning Mr. Agrest." The nurse said as she placed the tray into the table.

"Just call me Aiden maam." Aiden retorted while looking at the nurse.

The nurse looks to be in her early twenties with her healthy smooth skin and curly black hair. She then fetched the bed's remote and raised the bed a bit so that Aiden can sit upright without any struggle.

" Hey uh, can u leave the bed remote at the table next to me pls? It would really help me a lot." Aiden said while the nurse starts to scoop a spoon full of mash potato and eggs. " Oh sure thing Aiden, now open wide." Aiden then opened his mouth and ate the food which the nurse gave to him.

" You seem to be new here ma'am, and I am surprised on how relaxed you are in, well seeing me."

The nurse just smiles, takes another spoonful and positioned it in front of Aiden's mouth. "Celebrity or not, you are a patient and I will make sure that you will get well."

Aiden just ate the fed to him. "Please turn the TV on". As soon as the nurse did so, The broadcasting started. "Good Morning Paris! I am Raven I. Lalatitia and this is the Insane News. Last Friday was the ball hosted by Francois Agrest to which most of the people in Paris agree to be ' the best night of their lives' . The International sensation "Heartstrings Band" performed in the said ball."

The reporter then interviewed a young girl who strangely wore a familiar white satin dress. "What can you say about the Agrest Ball?" "It was the greatest time ever, its like a dream dancing in Aiden's arms, haaaaaaaaaaaaaah." " The ball really was amazing, it may have been over but we will not forget it. Now for our weather, Gabe can u tell us what we need?" "Sure thing, now so far it will be sunny for 2 days...

" Aiden has now finished eating and the nurse has already left. Aiden is staring outside his window again while holding the necklace in his hand. ' I will find you.'

And just then, the door busted open as a heavily panting Mari comes in with a concerned and frightened look on her face.

"Mari?" Aiden asked as Mari just rushed to him and hugged him but not tightly which helped him a lot. "You idiot! Why didn't you just stay with us." Mari said as a few tears went down her cheeks.

"Hey hey, its ok Mari. In fine now." Aiden assured her which helped her a lot, she then stopped hugging but she kept holding on to his hand. This just made Aiden smile a bit, knowing that someone cares for him.

Aiden then wipes away Maris tears with his thumb. This intimacy surprised Mari. But when she tried to look at Aiden's face he is now looking out from the window, staring at the horizon with extreme sadness on his gaze.

Aiden, is something wrong? What's bothering you? Mari asked

Aiden tries to fake a smile, "No, nothing is wrong. I am just happy that you visited me"

You can tell me, I'm your friend. I wanna help you." Mari also feels sad seeing that something is bothering Aiden. She said to herself, "why can't he tell me? Doesn't he trust me?" Mari also feels sad. She was hoping that their relationship has moved to a new level after what took place at the ball. But, apparently, she had just been wishful thinking. Suddenly things felt awkward.

Sensing Mari's thoughts, Aiden says. "Cmon, aren't you here to cheer me up? Lets not be overly EMO!" I was absent from school, please tell me what happened there while I wasn't around."

Mari then related to Aiden what transpired at school.
