Marvelous Scarlet Spider

Isaac grew up in the midst of the rising Avengers along with the general populace. He knew about them but never adored them, especially not after the Chitauri Invasion where his life changes forever. Unfortunately, soon after the event he is put into a coma. He wakes up having lived his life as a hero and now finds that this life he will have to be one too, while also trying to achieve a normal life for a 18 year old with no friends. His story starts sometime after he wakes up from his coma. Uh, he also tries to do the right thing, even when he is mortally wounded. He likes sushi! He hates elementals. I personally like Andrew Garfield as Spider-man and I'm not saying he is the best. That goes to my main man Donald Glover- wait, wrong universe. ... ... ... ... .. . Also he's Spider-man but who cares about that. - No Harem - Multiple relationships that one would normally have before they meet the love of their life. I do not know own any characters as they are IPs of their respective companies besides my OC and any OCs that are featured in this work. Chapter 19: Desire for Flander’s Hot Coco

Hours had past and Isaac tried going to the shelter but all of them were full, which sucked since he was still extremely tired from his previous excursion. His body, even it was indeed supernatural, still needed to do human things like rest. He swayed like he was reading a book as they were watching the sparse pedestrians cross his eyes as he shifted his body so it could lean more comfortably in the gazebo. Isaac knew he needed to at least try to call Markus, his cousin but he just didn't know what to say and he definitely didn't want to be a burden but he couldn't prolong the call any longer. He flicked his phone through his fingers and unlocked it with his fingerprint, the contact Markus Raxton already on the screen. He turned it off, looking at the dog that started to lead it's owner on an adventure as Isaac sighed. He groaned as he unlocked his phone and quickly pressing call. The phone started ringing and he held it up to ear and waited.

"Hello? Isaac?" A voice called out, it seemed curious on the phone call but it only proved to startle Isaac. He just realized that he was afraid that no one would answer his call and that he was all alone. After all, there weren't many people he'd call for a situation like this in the first place.

"Hello…?" The voice called, yanking him back into the present as he struggled to find the words he'd rehearse in his brain.

"Hey, he-. Hey Mark."

"What's up, Isaac." The voice snickered but it seemed warm, almost as comforting as their relationship was used to be. Like this year had been nothing but a second compared the lifetime there relationship had lived, no distance had grown between them.

"Nothing much just figure I'd call. Check up on you, how are you doing?" He realized he lied so he moved on as smoothly as he could. He promised himself that he'd circle back to the truth when he got the chance but hopefully, it wouldn't be over the phone.

"I'm good, tired. Had work early and then a couple of classes all in the night. It sucked but hey I only have 6 semesters left." He chuckled.

"That's cool, where are you now. In class?" Isaac said, trying to seem like he was interested. A part of him felt bad but right now he didn't have time to reflect on it.

"I- I was, I'm in the library. I have a test for tomorrow and I don't like being home much. How about you, shouldn't you be in my mom's house?" Markus probed.

'He must be catching onto me.'

"No- well I should be. I was but can we talk? Y'know in person.. I'm pretty close to Brooklyn?"

"Right now…"

".."

The phone call was surprisingly easy and brief compared to the one he had with his cousin in his imagination and after he had talked on the phone with Mark, his cousin had texted them the address. He quickly found himself an alley to jump to the roof and he put on his hood. He ran, pumping his legs the fastest he could and as he reached the edge of the roof he crouched, tensing his muscle before jumping. He heard the bag try to flail with the wind beating against it. He felt his troubles melt away as he felt so free, the pain that he didn't even know he had slowly unkinked itself from his heart as he watched the ground come close. Isaac felt the need to twist his body upright as he kicked out and shot a web that whipped his body forward. The downward momentum had became a very known entity to his body and it was honestly one of the better feelings in times like this as the pressure weirdly enough felt like a person sitting on your chest. The snow tried to get a hold of him but due to his speed it only had the opportunity to prick and poke his body, joining the beatdown from the wind.

'I need a better coat, fuck' He thought as he swung with two webs each attached to their own web.

'If only Ernie wasn't just so mad at me. I should text her,…I- ugh fine.' He fought with his mind to just let things settle, if he'd stir her pot again, it'd just come out worse for the both of them. It was one thing if she just yelled at him, it was another that she would be regretful for yelling at him for things that weren't his fault.

'Is it that time of the month, maybe if bring her some Welch's she'll forgive me.. For not feeling the same way she felt about me. God, am I weird?' He intensively questioned himself as he landed on a building, he ran to the end, the snow making the glass a little stiffer which was easier to stick too. He jumped shooting a web to help him corner the block without almost swinging and crashing into someones bathroom.

After a couple of minutes and tens of blocks past in the whizz of an eye, Isaac had checked and confirmed that his cousin's apartment was pretty much right below him as he landed on into the residental district of Williamsburg. He immediately thought that he might run into the devil or any other superhero but in his own weird feeling, he knew it wasn't going to be tonight. Isaac rubbed his cheeks, urging the blood to go inside as he shimmied his shoulder to get the bag into a better position. When that didn't work, he used forced to conquer the straps into submitting to do what he wanted. After he was more than comfortable as he walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. There was less people, presumably since they were all inside drinking something hot.

'Hot chocolate would be nice.' He thought as he walked of of the edge, landing on a decorative flag as he flipped, landing on the sidewalk unscathed as he usually was. He doubled checked but seeing no one was going to be there. He sat on the frozen concrete stairs and waited. The good thing about the place he was at was that he had managed to cover himself up enough to deal with the extended period of cold while outside and the block he was at was protecting him from most of the freezing currents.

Isaac became more anxious as time passed, he tried to go on his phone but the winds that were them slapped them, making them retreat into his pockets to warm up. He had checked the time and with the most recent by Mark, he'd had to wait for another hour or so.

'I wish I could just do something to warm up. Is there anything close?' He wondered, waiting with the harolding wind.
