MARVEL: THE IMMORTAL

Fourteen-year-old Su Chen aspired to lead an ordinary life, but fate had other plans – he was born extraordinary! His body possessed immortality, with cell activity reaching horrifying extremes. Even if reduced to a single cell, rapid multiplication and regeneration ensued. Constant genetic mutations and evolution equipped him with adaptive responses to stimuli and enemy attacks, rendering any attempt to harm him a futile endeavor. To encapsulate his myriad abilities, Su Chen conceived the concept of a system, diligently summarizing his ever-expanding capabilities. Acknowledging his eventual transformation into an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent being, Su Chen humorously recognized this state as 'OAA' in his world. CHAPTER 12

"This place is too sturdy, too cool!" Su Chen exclaimed.

"My house isn't far from here. Usually, before missions, I come here to change equipment, put on plain clothes, and head out," Mindy said with a smile.

"How old are you?" Su Chen asked curiously.

"I just turned fourteen," Mindy replied, patting her chest as if she were a little adult.

"I really admire you," Su Chen said sincerely. "A fourteen-year-old cold-faced loli killer is quite impressive."

"I admire you too. You're much cooler than me. You just took down an entire army!" Mindy said, giving Su Chen a thumbs up and a playful pat on the shoulder.

As they conversed, Su Chen noticed Mindy's demeanor relaxing, her previously indifferent face softening.

"You look quite handsome like this," Mindy remarked, reaching out to playfully pinch Su Chen's face, but stopping herself, aware of the gravity of their situation.

"Right..." Mindy suddenly remembered something important. "I forgot to call."

She realized she'd forgotten to contact her father before they left, and now, after trying to call him, there was no response.

"This isn't good! My dad might be in trouble," Mindy said, her delicate face showing signs of worry.

Su Chen frowned, sensing something was amiss.

After a fruitless wait for a response, Mindy grew increasingly anxious. She swiftly armed herself with a rifle and knives, ready to take action.

Without hesitation, Su Chen followed her out of the safe house. Mindy's house wasn't far, just a short walk away. Upon arrival, they found signs of a struggle, but Mindy's father was nowhere to be found, and their secret computer had vanished.

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, Mindy hastily contacted a friend of her father's, but received no response. Fearing the worst, they retreated to the safe house.

Back at the safe house, the mood was somber. Mindy, usually cheerful, was now silent and troubled. Su Chen promised to help her, but Mindy's despair grew as they watched news reports implicating Su Chen in a violent incident at Central Park.

The news shocked both Su Chen and Mindy, as they realized the gravity of their predicament. Su Chen's hope for redemption was shattered as he became a wanted criminal, accused of being part of a terrorist organization.
