Alex followed closely behind Black Widow as they reached the containment chamber.
As they approached, the heavy metal doors swung open, revealing the captive figure of Loki enclosed within a specially designed cell, originally intended to hold the Hulk.
Loki's eyes gleamed with mischief and defiance as he surveyed his surroundings. His presence alone seemed to command attention, an enigmatic aura that hinted at the chaos he was capable of unleashing.
Despite his confinement, he exuded an air of confidence, as if he held the secrets of the universe in the palm of his hand.
Natasha, known for her sharp wit, couldn't resist a touch of sarcasm. "Well, well, look who we have here," she remarked dryly, a hint of disdain coloring her voice. "The God of Mischief himself."
Natasha leaned forward, her voice steady but laced with curiosity. "Loki, what are you planning? Why bring chaos to Earth?"
Loki, in his usual charismatic manner, spoke with an air of superiority, "I'm here to bring favor to Midgard,"
Loki's voice reverberated through the room, brimming with false benevolence as he declared, "I shall grant a favor to all Midgardians to be under me, a God."
His words carried an air of superiority, intended to assert his dominance over the mere mortals.
Hearing Loki's declaration made Alex snicker on the side which caught Loki's attention, causing a brief crack in his composed facade.
His gaze shifted towards the source of the laughter, his expression turning from smugness to curiosity. Alex, realizing Loki's menacing stare, cleared his throat nervously, attempting to explain himself.
"Um, you see, I didn't mean to laugh at you," Alex stammered, trying to find the right words. "I do believe in a higher power, but I guess I'm more of a Gosh believer myself."
Loki's brow furrowed in confusion at the mention of "Gosh," an unfamiliar concept to him.
Natasha, on the other hand, rolled her eyes in response to Alex's attempt at humor. However, never did she knew, that Alex was not even joking.
Curiosity piqued, Loki's voice echoed with intrigue as he asked, "Who is that?"
His eyes narrowed, fixating on Alex, a mixture of amusement and skepticism coloring his tone. He found himself genuinely interested in this newcomer who seemed to have an unconventional perspective.
Alex scratched his head, pondering how best to explain his belief in "Gosh." After contemplating, he began, "You know, it's like when people say 'Oh my Gosh!' as an expression."
With exaggerated gestures, Alex continued, "Well, that's Gosh, and I'm His believer."
Alex himself did not really believe in Gosh as an actual believer. In fact, he was still pissed off that the unexpected and rather eccentric being such as Gosh had inexplicably sent him to this place.
The circumstances surrounding his arrival remained a mystery, but for now, he played along with the notion, finding it amusing and strangely comforting to invoke the name of Gosh.
The room fell momentarily silent, Natasha left speechless by Alex's unconventional explanation, while Loki's expression hardened with a mix of anger and indignation. The mischievous god could not help but question Alex's intentions.
"Are you mocking me?" Loki's voice boomed, laced with a hint of fury. He refused to be seen as anything less than a god, and any hint of ridicule was met with swift retribution.
His eyes blazed with a touch of fury as he stepped closer to the edge of the cage, trying to get close to Alex, "A God! Future King of Asgard! And you dare to jest about your insignificant beliefs in a deity named Gosh?"
Alex, unfazed by Loki's intimidation, held his ground and looked directly into Loki's eyes. "Hey, no need to get all worked up, pal. I'm not mocking you or your godly aspirations. It's just a little play on words, you know? Lighten up, Loki."
Loki's expression wavered momentarily, caught off guard by Alex's nonchalant response. He furrowed his brow, his mind racing to comprehend the audacity of this mortal who dared to challenge his authority.
"I assure you, mortal," Loki sneered, his voice dripping with venomous sarcasm, "your feeble beliefs hold no power over me. I am a god and answer to no one but myself."
Alex chuckled, shaking his head. "Hey, you're entitled to your own delusions, my friend. But just remember, there's much more to the universe than you can possibly comprehend. So, keep your godly ego in check."
Natasha couldn't help but suppress a smile at the witty banter unfolding before her. She had witnessed Loki's attempts to manipulate others with his charismatic speeches, but now, she found herself silently cheering for Alex's unyielding spirit.
A mix of annoyance and curiosity evident in his eyes, Loki glanced at Natasha before turning his attention back to Alex. "You have quite the audacity, mortal. Perhaps I shall enjoy observing how your insignificant presence unfolds amidst the chaos that awaits us."
Alex shrugged, his face beaming with a mischievous grin. "Bring it on, Loki. I've dealt with my fair share of trouble. Besides, where's the fun in life without a little chaos?"

Nick Fury let out a tired sigh as he turned his face toward Alex, the exhaustion in his voice was palpable as he asked, "Gosh? Really?"
Alex simply shrugged his shoulders, his tone nonchalant as if he were answering the most obvious question in the world. "Why not? I swear, Gosh is real!"
The room fell silent, everyone exchanging perplexed glances at Alex's unwavering belief in this unconventional deity.
Initially, Alex was called back to the meeting room, leaving Natasha behind to continue her conversation with Loki. She still needed to discuss something with the God of Mischief, and Alex couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation as he made his way back to join the others.
All eyes were fixated inside the room on the large screen displaying Loki's face. The mischievous god's expression visibly crumbled as Natasha, with her usual air of professionalism, confronted him with a revelation.
"That's your plan? To unleash the Hulk," she stated firmly, her voice cutting through the tense atmosphere. The room grew even quieter, the weight of her words sinking in.
The attention shifted to Dr. Banner, who seemed visibly uncomfortable under the intense scrutiny directed at him.
Amidst the serious discussion and the weighty revelations, Alex was in awe of Black Widow's skills. She possessed abilities beyond human capability, effortlessly changing her visible emotions, toying against her enemy's thoughts, and extracting vital information.
She lived up to her reputation as one of the best agents SHIELD had ever seen.
However, sensing the growing tension within the room made him slightly uncomfortable, "...Guys, we need to chill out."
