New Abilities and Upgrades

-Izo's POV-

So, he was waiting for this. This power-up seems nice, so how would a human mutate differ from a mutant or an inhuman. I will have to confirm this with him. Of course, if it is good enough, then I will have to leave his side for a while.

Thinking about the consequences, if anyone ever recognized me, it was better for me to leave his side. My presence will only endanger his family and friends, if not him. This will be our last training, hope he can cope with it.

15 minutes later, I meet him in the empty factory. Normally one would not be able to see/observe any difference, but the amount of chi in his body has increased a lot. Looking at his expression, I knew what he was planning, so I reached to smack him as fast as I could.

*whoosh*

Surprisingly he ducked this time. It was as if he could 'see' where my hand was coming from and even his reaction speed had increased. Now, it was unexpected not only to me but to him too.

-Peter's POV-

Just after I stepped inside the factory, I could hear a ringing noise in my mind alerting me about a hand that was about to smack me. I could see the direction it was coming from and everything about it. Thinking of it as a 'danger', my body subconsciously ducked.

And boy my reaction speed was very fast. It was like I was gliding on melted butter. Smooth and very fast.

Dodging the hand, I jumped to the side and said, "Hey old man, you can't smack me now. Hehehe."

And suddenly the speed and strength of my master increased. Even after my master tried everything, I could block/dodge every single of his blows. It was very easy. I could not say the same for my master.

But then, the old man took out his hidden weapons and shit. My mind exploded with all the ringing and visuals of the hidden weapons. Yes, there were so many of them, coming at me at such a speed, I was overwhelmed. Still, I could dodge them with a bit of effort but could not overpower him.

He finally stopped and said, "You've finally grown up, boy."

I replied, "What the hell! How can you be at my level? What did you eat while growing up? Steroids or something, you old drunkard?"

Of course, I will not get smacked now. It's more like I can dodge any of his attempts to hit me.

Finally, after half-hour of fighting, we sat down so I can genuinely test the limits of my power.

3 hours later, Peter and Izo had tested every possible theory/potential ability. Even Peter himself was surprised due to the power upgrade. Whatever he got was better than what he got in his memories. Not only did have enhanced spider physiology but also the limits of his existing powers have grown. This may be due to already having an evolved soul; due to his training in mind and chi; or both. Finally, the list of his powers and abilities was like this-

1) Superhuman Senses- His senses have upgraded, going from peak human/heightened senses to the superhuman category.

-->He now has night-vision. His vision extends into the ultraviolet and infrared areas of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing him to see in near-total darkness and retain the same level of clarity.

-->Peter's sense of taste, now, enables him to detect the number of grains of salt on a pretzel. He also has the ability to remember tastes enabling him to determine every ingredient of a food or drink he will taste, as long as there are at least twenty milligrams of that substance present.

-->His sense of smell is so acute, now, that he can possibly distinguish between identical twins at twenty feet by minute differences in smell. He can detect odors of an atmospheric concentration of thirty parts per million. Furthermore, his ability to remember smells enables him to identify any person he has spent at least five minutes with by smell alone, no matter how he or she might try to camouflage his or her natural body odor. He can also focus on a single person's smell and follow it through a crowd of people at a distance of fifty feet.

-->Even Peter's sense of hearing has evolved and can now help him to detect an acoustic pressure change of one decibel at a pressure level of seven decibels (whereas the lowest threshold for average human hearing is twenty decibels). He can hear a person's heartbeat at a distance of over twenty feet, or people whispering on the other side of a standard soundproofed wall. His super-human touch evolved with and merged with a new ability.

2) Danger Sense- Peter, now, has a precognitive danger sense which warns him of potential or immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The intensity also determines the severity of the danger. Further, due to merging with his radar sense, his danger sense could even tell him what was the danger and he can discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. With this, his other senses, and his reflexes, he could easily dodge any danger and it works on cameras and A.I.s too. Anything that is deemed dangerous falls in this category and only people he trusts with all his heart can never trigger it. Of course, if they try to harm him someday even if it was training, it will be triggered, just like what happened when he fought with Izo 3 hours ago.

3) Proximity sense and Blindsight- With his previous training and this mutation, he is now better at Blindsight and proximity sensing.
