Chapter 5 The first thing to do (Rewrited)

Subaru was now frozen in shock when he saw that Arthur had killed the three thieves with just his light kick.

He wanted to run away from here, but he couldn't take a step out. He felt like he would be killed if he tried to run away.

"You're from Japan, right?"

Subaru, who was trying to force himself to escape, was even more shocked when he heard Arthur's words.

"You know Japan?"

Arthur nodded before speaking.

"Of course I know. I'm from America and I like anime and manga."

Subaru felt relieved when he heard that. He looked at the corpses of the three bandits and then at Arthur.

"I didn't mean to. It seems like my strength was a bit too much."

Arthur explains a bit about his power to Subaru. Subaru felt jealous. If he had cool powers like Arthur, he wouldn't be in this situation.

"We should get out of here before the knights come after us. I showed up in the middle of town and it seems like the knights think I'm a dangerous person."

Subaru looked at the corpses of the three robbers again and he said.

"It seems that way. But where do we go from here?"

Arthur thought for a moment. His mission was to eliminate Romanee Conti and seize the Authority of Sloth for himself.

So the first thing to do is go find his beloved blue-haired little sister. Ahem!

"Follow me. I think I know where to go first."

Arthur would go to the slum where Felt would sell Emily's emblem to Elsa the bowel hunter.

'I don't know if I can fight her, but if I don't go there, I can't continue my mission.'

Subaru had no choice but to believe Arthur and follow him.

At least he came from the same world as him, he probably wouldn't have any bad intentions towards him, "I hope so" Subaru could only think like that.

Arthur didn't know where the slums were, but he had a mouth to ask the people around them. 

Finding the slums wasn't hard, but finding the bar where Felt was was not easy.

However, he was able to find it before the sky darkened. When he arrived at the bar, he saw a silver-haired woman.

He saw her and immediately knew who she was. She was the heroine of the story, Emily, a half-elf who looked like the witch of envy.

He looked at Subaru to see if he would fall in love with Emily like in the light novels he had read, but it seemed like there was no spark since he appeared and saved Subaru before he was killed by the bandits.

"This is good. He won't have to face dangerous things that are beyond his control and die repeatedly like that."

Arthur nodded before walking towards Emily, who seemed hesitant about whether to go inside the bar or not.

Puck next to her might have said that it might be dangerous for her inside because he might have to go back to sleep to save his energy.

Arthur pretended not to know her and told her to move aside.

"Can I get through? I have business with someone inside."

Emily was shocked and immediately gave way to him. Even Puck was shocked by him.

"Dragon!"

Puck accidentally said it and it made Emily shiver. 

The dragon was a legendary creature that was said to have helped seal the Witch of Envy four hundred years ago.

Volcanica was the dragon of the Lugunica Kingdom, the kingdom she wanted to become king of.

Arthur looked at Puck in surprise. Puck seemed to smell Ophis and Great Red from within him.

Speaking of which, both dragons are awake, but it might take a while before they can formally talk to him.

Arthur wanted to say something but he shook his head and walked into the bar. Luckily, Subaru didn't hear what Puck said.

He didn't want to tell anyone more about his powers than he had to.

Puck, who saw Arthur enter the bar, told Emily to die so Arthur went in immediately.

Emily did as Puck told her.

Subaru will be waiting outside quietly.

Arthur told him that what he was going to do next might be too dangerous for him.

"Anything that is dangerous for someone who can kick three people to death at the same time is definitely not something I should get involved in."

He was a smart man, but because of circumstances, he had to die and die again to save everyone.

When Arthur walked into the bar, he smelled blood. 

What he saw was that Elsa had already killed Rom, And Felt was crying next to his corpse.

Elsa laughed with joy after killing Rom and seeing Felt's crying face.

Elsa stopped laughing when she felt Arthur. She narrowed her eyes. Like Puck, she could feel something about Arthur and she could tell how dangerous he was to her.

"Who are you?"

Elsa was very cautious. She stopped laughing and looked at Arthur seriously. Arthur looked at her with his cold eyes as well.

"I am the one who will put an end to your evil, Elsa the bowel hunter."

Arthur would pretend to be a bounty hunter so he could easily blend into this world. 

He needed to talk to Subaru about this, and he had a plan.

"Hmm, so that's how it is. You're a bounty hunter, but I've never seen you before."

Elsa didn't believe Arthur was a bounty hunter when she looked at him. He looked more like a nobleman than a bounty hunter.

Arthur wore very advanced clothing. It was made of nanobots and could even protect him against explosions. 

The design of the clothes he wore was fantasy mixed with modernity. Arthur thought it was really cool, so he wore it. In addition to safety, it was the coolness that made him wear it.

Tony had many other interesting things besides the Iron Man suit.

"It doesn't matter whether you've ever seen me or not. Now meet your end, Elsa."

Arthur should be worried about his safety, but something inside him tells him that he wants to fight Elsa. 

His blood was boiling and he wanted to explode it with violence.

Elsa laughed when she heard that. She didn't hesitate and charged at Arthur first.

Her knife was extremely sharp, and she swung her hand swiftly, aiming at every fatal spot on his body.

Arthur could see Elsa's movements clearly. He dodged her attack with the slightest movement. He threw a punch back, and Elsa had to immediately block it. 

A gust of wind occurred when he threw a punch and Elsa, the target, was sent flying backward, breaking both of her arms instantly.

Elsa couldn't believe it. Such a young looking nobleman could almost instantly kill her with just a simple punch.

"You are not human. What are you!"

Elsa shouted with a voice full of anger. She was a vampire who could heal her wounds, but that didn't mean they wouldn't hurt.

Elsa's body was healing itself but it might take some time before she could stand up to fight again.

Arthur was starting to get used to his own strength, but just now he went all out but Elsa didn't die immediately, which meant his strength wasn't the absolute in the world.

He might have to be more careful in the future.

"What I am isn't important. I will end you here and now Elsa."

Authur walked close to Elsa, intended to end her life so she would not be a threat to him or anyone else anymore.

But before he could kill her. Emilia stopped him first.

"Please wait, sir noble! I have something to ask her."

Authur stopped and looked at her. He knew what she wanted to ask Elsa. It must be about her emblem.

"Make it quick. I can't let dangerous people like her live for too long."

Emilia nodded her head and said thank you to him before she asked Elsa from a certain distance.

If Elsa wanted to do something to her. Arthur could intercept in time.

He walked a little bit in front of Emilia to make sure that Elsa wouldn't be able to do anything to her.

"Where is my emblem?"

Emilia cut to the chest and asked her about the emblem.

Elsa laughed before she told her.

"Your emblem is not with me but I hide it somewhere. You have to let me live and I will give your emblem back."

Elsa saw a way to save herself. She would use the emblem to exchange for her life. 

She looked at Arthur with a smirk. She thought he was probably Emilia's loyal knight.

In this case, he had to let her live if he wanted her to give the emblem back to Emilia.

However, before Emilia could ask Arthur for help. He walked toward Rom's body and then dug his hand inside him.

Felt was shocked and wanted to curse and stop Arthur.

However, before she could do that he spoke something to her.

"He isn't dead yet. I will boost his life force first so he can survive."

Arthur didn't know that the Rom was alive from a distance but when he came closer to him. He could feel his breathing.

He used mana to boost his life force so he could hold on after being cut open.

Felt saw that her friend's body emit green light and she could tell that he wasn't dead yet.

After Arthur pulled his hand out of him. Emblem was in his hand.

How crazy Elsa was to hide such a thing inside a man barely alive.

"You are too dangerous to be left alive."

Arthur told Emilia to go and heal the Rom. He also gave her emblem back to her after cleaning the blood on it.

Arthur didn't look at the emblem, but it emitted light after he touched it. Only Emily and Puck noticed it.

"He is indeed a Dragon, Emilia-tan. You must do whatever it takes to bring him to your side! If we gain his support, your dream will come true!"

Emilia's body shook but she nodded her head. She looked at Arthur's back and felt very hopeful but she was conscious about her look.

Would he feel disgust if he noticed that he was a half elf and looked like the witch of envy.

Elsa knew that she fucked up. She tried to use all of her power so she could escape.

Arthur anticipated this so he moved fast toward her and smacked her head.

This time his strength was greater than before because he infused his hand with mana. 

He could use the power of the swords to eliminate her but by doing that they would drain him of his power for a short while.

And that was stupid thing to do in this situation.

Elsa quickly dodged but just the pressure from the punch alone injured her further!

"Shit, What is he and why is he coming after me!"

Did she kill someone related to him for him to be this cruel toward her? Such irony for her to think like that.

Elsa couldn't hold it anymore and release her true power of the vampire. Her injuries healed instantly.

"I will remember this!"

She used her ability to run away. 

Arthur didn't know how to fight much so he was helpless when Elsa did everything she could to survive.

Arthur clicked his tongue and sighed. 

He was not combat well verse and only physically stronger so he had no way to stop her in the first place.

"Next time I will kill you for sure."

Arthur then looked at Emilia who finished healing Rom. Felt was very grateful and said sorry to Emilia for stealing her emblem.

Emilia was a forgiving person so she forgave her.

Emilia then looked at him nervously at this moment. 

She must have heard from Puck that he was a dragon and she must want his support in order to become the queen of this kingdom.

Arthur didn't think he could help her because his mission would end after killing Romanee Conti and seizing his power.

However, he could help her during the time before the witch cult would make their move.

"Eto, My name is Emilia and thank you for your help getting back the emblem for me."

She said a lot considering her not having many friends.

"Could I know your name sir noble?"

Emilia asked him in a shy like manner. 

Arthur found her to be very cute at this moment. 

However, his heart was only set on the blue-haired little sister.

'Sorry, Emilia but I love Rem!'

He wanted to say that but refrain himself. He then spoke to her.

"My name is Arthur Leywin Stark. And as for the emblem, you're welcome. Don't think too much of it."

Arthur didn't say anything more to her as she should be the one to offer him her deal first.

He looked at Rom and Felt. He thought about Felt. 

Should he bring her to Reinhard and tell him that she was a candidate for the king as well?

He shook his head. It might be better if she didn't have to be involved with such a mess.

Emilia didn't know what to say or offer him for him to join her side. She just literally met him a few minutes ago!

She needed him to be on her side but that was the hardest part because she didn't know how to do so.

"If you don't have anything to say to me. I will take my leave first."

Arthur knew that she was in a dilemma and needed a little push. He pretended to walk toward the exit.

He knew that she would never let him go just like this.

Emilia, as expected, suddenly did something out of her mind. She grabbed his hand out of desperation.

"Hum?"

Arthur looked at her. He knew that she would never let him go but to think she would grab his hand like this.

"I–I am sorry but I can't let you go without repaying you. Do you mind telling me what I can do for you to return this great favor you did for me?"

Arthur waited for this moment. He pretended to think of what he wanted then he said.

"If you can give me some money I would appreciate it. My friend and I have come from a very distant land. We lost our funds during the journey and might have to make a camp somewhere."

Hearing that Emilia perked up with a bright smile. It was something she could easily do for him.

It could not even count as repayment for him.

"Please let me help you with the lodging! If you don't mind, you can stay at our mansion! And about money I can prepare it for you!"

Emilia said quickly. She was happy that she could do something for him.

Not because she wanted to pull him to her side. This was just how she was.

Arthur nodded his head and told her that he would go and speak with his friend first.

Everything went according to his plan. He came here in order to help and get close to Emilia so he could finish his mission more easily.
