Make A Deal?

Other than the old king, everyone in the room immediately changed their expression when they heard Li Yue mentioning Vibranium.

Vibranium was a metal special to Wakanda. There was no other sources in the world outside of Wakanda, and it was coveted by countless people.

However, Wakanda placed strict control on Vibranium distribution, banning circulation to outside world. The price of Vibranium outside of Wakanda had skyrocketed to over 10,000 USD per gram!

Even so, countless people still wished to buy the metal. Unfortunately, no matter how high the price reach, there was no supply of the metal available on the market! Vibranium was an item with a price but no availability, practically impossible to buy!

"Vibranium? As expected! How much do you need? If the amount isn't too large, I can authorize your request immediately!"

The old king seemed to have expected this request and showed no surprise. Moreover, he had agreed to Li Yue's request without the slightest hesitation!

"Your Majesty!"

"Father!"

"You don't have to be so loud. I have my own plans!"

T'Challa and the queen besides the old king instantly lost their composure and cried out in alarm when they heard the old king's nonchalant and immediate reply. However, the old king waved his hand and silenced them before they could protest!

"Your Majesty, why did you agree to our request so easily? I though Wakanda valued their Vibranium resources highly! Will you not ask what I would use the Vibranium for?"

Li Yue was caught off-guard by how easily the old king had accepted his request. His shock even appeared on his face! He really didn't expect to achieve his objective so easily! He couldn't help but to ask the king about it!

"Vibranium is indeed very precious for us in Wakanda, and we do not have an excess abundance of it! However, you are the group of heroes who had saved the world, and thus had saved us! It was a trivial matter to grant Vibranium to you! Just consider it a reward for saving us!"

The old king's tone was very sincere. Someone without background knowledge about Wakanda might even be moved by his actions! They would think that the old king was reluctantly but generously giving up the scarce Vibranium resources for sincere gratitude!

However, Li Yue knew everything about Wakanda. Saying that Wakanda didn't have an excess of Vibranium was a flat-out lie! The amount of Vibranium meteorite deposit that Wakanda was guarding could be measured in tens of thousands of tons, and they barely mined a significant chunks of it even after all these years!

With their current rate of consumption, the resource deposit would be enough to sustain them for tens of thousands of years to the future!

"Thank you for your generosity, Your Majesty! I need to forge one... no, three pieces of Vibranium armor!"

However, there was no need for Li Yue to say all that, so he simply proceeded with his request. He needed a Vibranium armor, so he directly said that he wanted one!

However, Li Yue changed his mind mid-sentence. It was a rare opportunity to "eat the rich," so to speak, so he had to maximize his benefit! Vibranium wasn't actually rare for Wakanda anyway!

"Hmm...Alright! For the sake of our friendship, I approve your request!"

The old king obviously noticed that Li Yue suddenly changed the number in his request, but he said nothing about it! Instead, he smiled and approved Li Yue's request!

"Thank you very much, Your Majesty!"

Li Yue was very happy to achieve his goal so easily! He would never have to worry about his clothes burning or breaking into pieces during battles ever again!He would never be at risk of becoming a criminal!

"Ah, Your Majesty, since you agree to Li Yue's request, can you make a deal with me as well?"

Tony suddenly raised his voice after seeing the old king so easily approved Li Yue's request!

"Oh? Mr. Stark, what do you require of our Wakanda?"

The old king's interest was piqued by Tony's request!

"Of course, I also want Vibranium! To tell you the truth, I had been looking for Vibranium to study its properties and consider whether I can integrate it to my armor, but I don't have enough of it!

"I propose to make a deal. I will buy some of your Vibranium at market price. The current market price of Vibranium is about 10,000 dollars, so I will buy 100 million dollars' worth of it!

"Of course, considering the ever-rising market demand, the price would definitely continue to trend upwards, so I will ask you to supply only 8,000 grams of Vibranium for that 100 million dollars price tag!

"What do you think, Your Majesty? Would you agree to this deal?"

As expected of Tony, the richest man on Marvel universe. He spoke of a hundred million dollars deal without a second thought! Moreover, his bargaining ability was comparable to the Richest Man in Xihong City, Wang Duoyu!

"Haha! Mr. Stark, you must be joking! How can we take advantage of you? How about this? You pay us ten million dollars, and I will sell you ten kilograms of Vibranium!"

The old king burst into laughter when he heard Tony's offer. He then inexplicably bargained a better deal for Tony, lowering the price by ten times! Moreover, he also added two whole kilograms of Vibranium on the deal!

"B-but, wouldn't that be problematic for you guys? I feel that…"

"That is my final offer! Take it or leave it!"

The old king interrupted Tony's protest and shuttered any further negotiation!

"But I also have my own condition. The Vibranium that you received must only be used by you or your friends. You cannot sell it to a third party, be it an individual or an organization. Of course, that includes your own government! Can you agree with these terms?"

The old king added, his eyes watching Tony's expression!

"Of course! I'm not so poor that I need to sell Vibranium to make some tens of millions of dollars!"

Tony agreed without hesitation. Indeed, as the leader of the world-class Stark Industries, Tony didn't have any shortage of money, and he would never have to resort to selling that Vibranium!

"Alright, then it's a deal! Now, let us proceed to complete Master Li Yue's request to produce Vibranium armor!"

Tony's boastful reply gave the old king confidence on his character, so the deal was officially sealed!

"Please, follow me to the facilities where the armor would be produced! That is, Wakanda's very own weapons and equipment factory!"

The old king rose from his throne and led the way, ready to fulfill the promise to Li Yue.

The production of Vibranium armor was, of course, highly difficult and troublesome. It definitely wasn't as simple as making ordinary clothes!

Moreover, it required expert craftsmen and specialized equipment! Therefore, Li Yue and the other had to visit the processing and manufacturing facility directly! That was the only place that those craftsmen and specialized equipment existed!

Tony looked around after they exit the palace. There wasn't any building that looked like a manufacturing facility around them, so he could imagine that the place was some distance away! He was curious, how would they travel there?

"Of course, I will be taking a ride! I don't think it would be wise to walk or fly there on your own!"

T'Challa's personality was fundamentally similar to Tony's. He could also appreciate Tony's extravagant attitude: both of them were very wealthy people, after all! T'Challa felt that he had found a kindred spirit, so he wanted to be closer to Tony!

Sure enough, following T'Challa's words, a flat, circular flying object suddenly approached from the distance. It had arrived and landed in front of them in mere moments! And its movement was very smooth!
