Finding Translucent

Hughie and Frenchie narrowly avoided being detected by the search team. Just as they breathed a sigh of relief, a knock on the door jolted them back into high alert. Fortunately, it was Billy, who had returned!

But Billy didn't bring good news with him. He didn't find any ways to put Translucent down!

The three were distraught, not knowing what to do. By sheer coincidence, the program on the TV caught Frenchie's attention. It was about turtles!

"I know the way!" Frenchie yelled, before immediately getting to work!

"What way?"

Billy and Hughie speechlessly looked at the happy Frenchie!

The peaceful night passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, another morning arrived!

Li Yue once again arrived at the Seven's building, and he immediately met Homelander, who seemed to be going somewhere!

"Thunderclap, you came at the right time! Come with me, we're having a little excursion today!"

Homelander's eyes lit up when he saw Li Yue. Apparently, he was about to do something that required Li Yue's help!

"Alright! Just say the word!"

Of course, Li Yue wouldn't refuse. He would do anything to stay by Homelander!

Li Yue followed behind Homelander, quietly using his evolution power. After walking for a while, they arrived at the technical department!

"Ah, Homelander, good morning. What business would you have here?"

An employee quickly greeted Homelander with a dry smile!

Everyone in the technical department immediately straightened their backs and shiver in fear when Homelander entered, afraid that Homelander would nitpick them!

In Vought International, the most feared figure was Vice President Madelyn, followed by Homelander. Just the sight of either of them would frighten any employees!

"Have you found Translucent?"

Homelander ignored the person who greeted him and went directly to a woman that was sitting in front of the computer!

Within Vought environment, Homelander shed the polite and fake smile he showed to people outside. His expression was very serious!

"Uh, Homelander, the search team is working very hard! I believe they would get the result soon!"

"I'm asking you, have you found Translucent?"

Homelander's serious face deepened. The woman shrank back in fear and stuttered!

"W-we haven't found him yet! But..."

"He has been missing for 24 hours, and you haven't found him. Forget it, just give me the last location of his tracker!"

"Should I call to confirm..."

"No, no, no. You don't seem to understand that I am Homelander. I can do whatever I want. By the way, what is your name?"

A smile suddenly appeared on Homelander's face, but to the woman, it looked more like a demon's grin! Her fear intensified!

"My name... my name is Annika."

"Ms. Annika, what a nice name. Now, please tell me where you last detected Translucent's tracker. Please."

Homelander walked behind Annie and grabbed her shoulders, staring at her intently!

Li Yue was still watching from the side. He was really afraid that Homelander would shoot his laser beam directly at the woman called Annika!

Fortunately, Annika obediently gave Homelander the location!

Homelander wasted no word and immediately grabbed Li Yue to fly out of the building, straight to the target location.

This time, Homelander didn't go at ten times the speed of sound, just slightly above the speed of sound!

But it's still a very fast speed!

Billy and the others finally dealt with Translucent after a lot of work. The method they used was extremely vulgar, but it was very effective!

They first electrocuted Translucent, then placed a special bomb in his body. It was a remote control bomb. When the remote control was pressed, the bomb would explode. However, because of the gag reflex and the stomach acid, they couldn't put the bomb in through Translucent's mouth, but from another indescribable place...

Apparently, Frenchie had the idea when he saw the turtle on TV. Both the turtle and Translucent had a hard exterior, but their internal organs were as fragile as ordinary people. Therefore, Translucent could easily be killed with an explosion from within his body, despite his diamond-hard skin!

Translucent was immediately stunned the first time that Frenchie described the idea to him. His arrogance melted away. He had no idea how these people thought of such a dirty method!

"Don't kill me! What do you want to know? I'll tell you everything, just don't kill me!"

Translucent was already afraid of death, to begin with, much less such a cowardly manner of death. He immediately surrendered and offered information.

Don't you want to know what happened on the day that A-Train killed his girlfriend? I don't know what happened either, but Popclaw should know everything. She and A-Train are a couple. They thought they hide it from anyone, but they can't hide from me, and A-Train won't hide anything from her!

"I've told you everything I know. Please, let me go..."

"Popclaw? The Popclaw who can grow bone spikes on her arm?" Billy asked curiously.

"Yes, that's her. You can ask her for the rest. Let me go; I promise I won't tell anyone about you!"

Faced with life and death, Translucent had abandoned his loyalty and integrity. How could he still have any dignity? The current him was just a pitiful worm that could shake his head and tail, begging others to let him go!

But Billy obviously didn't intend to let Translucent go. Billy hated Supes to the bone, to the point that he could kill them one by one. Translucent's plea was destined to fall on deaf ears!

They didn't let Translucent go after getting the intel. They closed the refrigerated room door and discussed how to approach Popclaw and get information. However, their discussion was interrupted by a figure that flew quickly past a nearby surveillance camera. (The speed was too high, they couldn't see Li Yue who was being carried!)

All of them were shocked. It was troublesome that Homelander actually came here!

"We need to distract him. He'd find us sooner or later!" Billy said in a serious tone!

"How?" Frenchie asked anxiously!

"Pittsburgh! Let's blow him up!"

"What?! That's an expensive base. I spent a lot of money building it. And you're going to blow it up?"

"Put it on my tab!"

Frenchie was speechless. You still owe me 40 thousand dollars, and you want to add on that?!

But it concerned his own life and death, so he could only agree!
