-------------

The demonic swordfish didn't waste any time, as soon as it spotted Edward, it once again swam toward him at great speed.

Now that he could see it coming, Edward saw that it was using the nine snakes it had for tails to push itself, and the film around it's skin wasn't just helping it glide in the water.

At the speed it was going, it should be evaporating the water around it, but thanks to the green film around it's scales, the water was instead moving in it's direction, increasing it's speed even more and adding to the impact when it collided with something.

Since he could see it coming, Edward now had more than enough time to prepare himself as he took out Aeglos. Although he was here to better master his mastery of his Water Concept, now wasn't the time.

Not only had he already reached the limit for the Water Concept, now wasn't the time to play, there was obviously quite the big crisis going on right now.

Edward waited for the swordfish demon to approach before attacking, so that it wouldn't be able to attack, but the moment it entered within a hundred meters of him, as he finally swung his spear, the swordfish did something surprising.

The nine snakes behind it suddenly extended a great deal and stabbed toward Edward at an even greater speed.

Edward was suddenly attacked from ten different sources, making the attack much deadlier. However, he did not panic as he continued stabbing forward.

A Dragon Head was quickly formed, and right as it was about to clash with the swordfish's head, he let go of Aeglos as he instantly grew in size, becoming a hundred meters tall.

Now much bigger, his hands moved even faster than the snakes as he easily grabbed the now small snakes, while the Dragon Head attack clashed with the swordfish.

Despite it's great speed and the strength of it's bill, the moment the two attacks collided, the swordfish's bill was broken, and it's head was lacerated.

At the same time, the snakes tried to escape from Edward's grip, but his grip was like iron hooks as he kept them in place. Then, with barely any effort, he crushed all the snakes, and tore them off the swordfish, before punching it's body with all of his strength.

In his giant form, he drilled a giant hole through the swordfish's body, obliterating all of its internal organs as it died.

The demon now dead, Edward reduced in size as he called Aeglos back to him, and moved to one of his teams.

The flare had come from somewhere in the South of Spain. As he arrived, Edward noticed the surroundings were ravaged, giant holes had been drilled into the ground.

Looking around, Edward spotted the team on top of a hill. However, two of them were missing. With a kick, Edward arrived next to them, and the moment he did he spotted the demon.

Before any of them could see he had arrived, Edward drove Aeglos through the head of one of the members of the team, making his head explode.

The Sorcerers were stunned by his action, and hurriedly jumped back as they prepared their spells. However, as they saw Edward, they lowered their guard as they looked down at their teammate who had just been killed.

Edward said, "You were under its illusion, your teammate must have been long dead. Get back to Kamar-Taj, something has popped up."

The Sorcerers obviously had some questions, but Edward did let them speak as he teleported away. Since he was gone, they too left for Kamar-Taj.

Walking through the portal, Edward looked around, and although he saw some destruction, he couldn't tell when it had been done. Besides, he couldn't find a trace of either the team he was supposed to protect and the monster.

Edward prodded the surroundings with his magic, and he felt an echo coming from not far away. Something else the teams didn't know was that the flares could even be traced without being activated.

Edward moved toward the flare, and at some point stopped and stomped on the ground.

With his gesture, a giant rift opened itself in the ground as a Sorcerer was revealed, hiding. Below, the Sorcerer's eyes widened as he pointed toward the sky.

At first, Edward thought the man was pointing at him, but the next moment he felt something enter his Chi Sense. Taking a step back, something crashed where Edward was a moment ago.

As the dust settled, an injured Sorcerer was revealed. He wasn't dead yet, but he was severely injured.

Looking up, there seemed to be nothing in the sky, and Edward couldn't feel anything from his Chi Sense, but since the Sorcerer had landed from the sky…

Edward snorted in annoyance as he suddenly felt a change in his Chi Sense, and stomped down. With his stomp, a pillar of water suddenly rose from the ravaged ground as it slammed into the Sorcerer who had fallen from the sky.

The Sorcerer, who was in the middle of chanting a spell, spat out a mouthful of blood as he was sent flying into the air, his body broken by the impact.

Once his body was in the sky, Edward showed no mercy as with a swipe of his hand, a flying slash made of Chi was fired at the Sorcerer, and bisected him, killing him.

Through his Chi Sense Edward had felt the Sorcerer was about to attack him, and he didn't seem to be under any kind of manipulation. Edward could hardly see any mean of manipulation that could escape his Chi Sense, so he didn't bother himself with any sort of interrogation and simply killed him.

With a twitch of his finger, Edward healed the other injured Sorcerer, and asked, "Was there a demon, or was that all?"

The Sorcerer grunted, "A demon who masters gravity, he locked us in place. I don't know where it left. All the others were killed by Sabao's attack, I was lucky to have an artefact that countered his attack."

Edward nodded as he felt no trace of lying from him and opened a portal to Kamar-Taj, which the Sorcerer didn't hesitate to cross.

Meanwhile, although Edward was curious about this demon who controlled gravity, there were more troubling matters at hand.

Not only was he connected to all the teams of magicians, he also knew where the other powerhouses were.

Nearly all of them were next to teams, probably fighting. The only exception was Stephen, who was in Kamar-Taj. This was a good call on his end, as leaving Kamar-Taj defenceless would mean the retreating Sorcerers would also be defenceless.

After a moment of hesitation, Edward decided to teleport to the location of the three Master Sorcerers, as although there were three of them, they were still a notch below the powerhouses in terms of power.

Edward appeared above London, and was surprised to see it was in a somewhat fine state, in comparison to the rest of the world that is.

The three Master Sorcerers were below in the streets, teaming up with the team they had come to save. Facing them wasn't one strong demon, but a swarm of locusts which seemed endless.

Flying down from the sky, Edward clapped both hands as a sea of fire appeared above the buildings, burning all the locusts that tried to move from above.

Then, his right hand moved to his side before clenching. With the gesture, all the buildings in the neighbourhood suddenly crashed into each other, crushing everything within to death.

The Sorcerers were shocked at the attacks, the endless demons they had been fighting against had been taken care of so easily…

But as Edward was about to leave, an explosion came from beneath as the rubbles of a destroyed building were kicked away, revealing a scarecrow like figure.

Edward and the scarecrow stared at each other for a second, before a giant icicle appeared above Edward, and was fired at the scarecrow.

However, before it could hit it's target, the scarecrow disappeared into the ground. Even as he teleported to the ground, Edward couldn't feel the demon anywhere.

Still, he once again stomped on the ground, and although nothing seemed to have happened, a shockwave spread into the ground, but Edward felt no echo, meaning there wasn't anyone under.

He was a bit dissatisfied he couldn't find the demon, but there wasn't much else he could do, so he quickly teleported away.

This time, Edward appeared in Nigeria, where Morgana was standing in front of a giant worm. A giant hammer materialized above the worm's head, but before it could smash into it, it retreated into the ground.

Edward didn't immediately act despite being pressed for time as he watched Morgana from above. The dark witch remained unmoving on the ground, as if searching for the demon, when suddenly the ground under her crumbled as the worm appeared from underneath.

Despite the danger, she showed no reaction though as the demon snapped it's mouth shut, crushing the dirt and Morgana in between it's teeth.

However, after a second Morgana's body did not get shredded into meat paste, but instead turned into a large ball of darkness.

The demon seemed to feel something, but it was far too late as the mass of energy exploded. The giant worm's mouth exploded into bits as it was instantly killed, while Morgana appeared some distance away, looking exhausted.

Edward floated down from the sky, and saw her face turn proud as she spotted him. She said, "Impressive, aren't I?"

Edward ignored her cockiness and said, "Join Stephen in Kamar-Taj and defend the place."

Without another word, Edward teleported away while Morgana rolled her eyes. However, despite not liking being given orders, she also knew where her priorities were, so right after him she teleported away.

After Morgana, Edward arrived at Dr Doom's location. However, it would seem the latter did not need his help.

The man stood in his silver armor, a foot stepping on a dead demon's head as he gazed at his minions shredding apart the rest of the demons.

Edward approached him and said, "The rest are gathering in Kamar-Taj to defend the location."

Unlike Morgana, Edward did not give any orders, for he knew he wasn't talking to the same kind of person. It wasn't that he feared Doom, but it was an instinctual change of tone.

Doom merely nodded, while Edward teleported away. Like that, he checked on every powerhouse, and was relieved to see all of them were fine, so when he made sure all of them had come back to Kamar-Taj, he teleported back as well.
