Bald One's Pov
"Master Ward will be arriving shortly" one of the newer students said with a bow
I nodded at him "Thank you. You can return to your studies"
He nodded and left.
Hmmm Master Ward has progressed quite quickly, but I don't think it will be quick enough to be ready for the disasters that come. According to his predictions we still have a few years, but since I have lost the ability to see this timeline we are going in blind. And Fate was always fickle instead of years we might have months left.
Certain main events will always remain in the timelines, except if they are specifically removed. For example it doesn't matter in which timeline Tony Stark will always become Iron Man. The years and events leading to that point might change a little, but the end result won't. Ward is specifically altering the timeline right now, he knows that Thanos will come and attack, but his actions create a Butterfly effect. One that I can't see.
So there is only one thing left to do. Prepare as much as possible for the war that has yet to come. And the one that has the highest chance to save us, is Ward. While he is still weaker than me now, he will soon surpass me.
Ahh here he comes, the sliding door opens and he enters.
"Hello~ How have you been" he says with that always present smile on his face
"I have been doing well Master Ward, and it appears that so have you. You have gotten a lot stronger then the last time i saw you" I say sincerity, his growth rate is astonishing

"Well that's because you are busy running this place. People have known about my new abilities for a while." he shrugs his shoulders
"Ahh yes, your new Ice Magic, quite interesting that one, its a type of magic I have never seen before, it holds a particular element that separates it from the Ice Magic of this Universe, I wonder how you got ahold of it" I ask him the same question as last time
"I have my ways" he says with a smug look on his face,
Of course, i expected that he would reply like this, I wouldn't say anything in his position as well
"So what's this about" Straight to the point I see
"Will you be busy the next few days" I skip the pleasantries as well
He looked surprised by my question
"I don't know why your asking or if you just had a feeling, but Yes. I will be busy the next 3 weeks, I'm planning on eradicating Hydra and the 10 Rings." he says with a straight face
I was shocked but i didn't show it. He isn't the kind of man that would do this form the good of his heart, so that means there must be something in it for him.
"May I know why?" I'm genuinely curious about his actions
"Well lets say the incentive was too big. It's a great opportunity that I refuse to let it pass."
So he will get a lot from this. Well good for him, he gets stronger and the world is safer. Now about my reason for calling him.
"That's good news, it means the world will become a lot safer. But enough about that, the reason I called you is about our previous deal"
He thinks about it for a few seconds "The Time Stone"
I nod "Yes. I believe its time you used it together with your grimoire"
"Hahahaaha" he starts laughing, making me feel confused
Once he stops he looks at me "You sure picked one hell of a time, sadly i wont be able to research another stone for at least 2 more months, and that's if things go well, if not then its 4 months"
"Hmmm so there is a time limit on it, Interesting. My plan was to get you as strong as possible in the least amount of time. You are the best shot we have at beating Thanos, and don't try to get rid of the responsibility, you probably plan to Assassinate Thanos in someway, after all he is a threat to you as well" Watching his reactions is hilarious as always
"What do you mean by responsibility?" he asks
"There will be a fight, and you have to attend meetings and political deals with me to get the most support from the different factions on Earth." I can see his face changing he really must dislike politics
"How about this, i go with you but you do all the talking, I dislike having to associate myself with politians, i get the urge to kill them every time i see one." Sigh that's as good as it gets with him
"Fine, that will have to do. On another note, you will be going to Asgard, correct?" he gives me a nod, not even asking where i got the information from
"That means you plan to take the Space Stone next since you haven't asked for the Time stone. I agree with that choice , its better for you to study Space before Time, it will be much easier that way. I suggested you learning the Time stone now, because I didn't know you have a limit, you mentioned that it takes 2-4 months but you never said that you cant study more than one Stone at a time. That complicates things"
"How so?"
Sigh why is he such a pain "Never mind now" I dodge his question
"We have a complex array that uses the Time Stone to speed up time in a certain room here in Kamar-Taj, you will stay 30 days in that room but only 1 day will pass here in the real world."
He looks at me for a few moments looking for any deceit ,before he finally speaks "Why so proactive all of a sudden and why now?"
"I have been having.. how do I put this.. a bad premonition, I have been having them for the last few days. I believe it be best if we hurry with our preparations against what's about to come, that includes you getting stronger. Spending time in that room will allow you more time to train, while the cooldown on the grimoire lessens"
He thinks about it, even if we both know that he will accept. He reaches a decision and looks directly at me "When do we begin?"
