"It's so delicious, sir!"

Jake watched as the three kids hurriedly stuffed the food into their mouths, savoring every bite, and He couldn't help but smile. Even though he considered himself an opportunistic person, he wasn't cold-hearted enough to ignore starving children. But, of course, the main reason he offered them food was because they could be quite helpful in finding a reliable person to trade with.

"Where are you going? Which ninja are you looking for to be your teacher and learn ninjutsu?" Jake asked despite knowing the answer.

"We don't know. Last time, we saw a group of Leaf Village ninjas fighting with Hanzo and surviving. We want to find them, learn ninjutsu from them, and then change the Land of Rain," Yahiko said, full of fighting spirit.

Jake shook his head after hearing it but didn't say anything to discourage his idealistic dream. Yahiko was just a little over ten years old and naive, he didn't know that he was already sentenced to death the moment he befriended Nagato.

 "What's wrong, Mr. Jake? Don't you believe what I said?" Yahiko asked, seeing Jake's reaction.

"No, your ideals are good. Keep it up," Jake replied. But couldn't help but feel a little complicated. It was a strange feeling to have knowing someone would eventually die, but couldn't do anything about it.

Sighing, Jake continued to ask. "Do you know the whereabouts of the Leaf Village ninjas?"

Yahiko initially felt angry and wanted to argue, but he answered, "It's not hard to guess. After the fight with Hanzo, The Konoha Shinobi should have headed in the direction of the Land of Fire. So if we head in the same direction, we'll eventually catch up with them."
