74 Chapter 74: Promised

Actually, there was no need for Jack to find Tony.

It was just for some matters that he came to see him.

Nick Fury was the last person on Jack's list to visit. Before that, he visited several places, met some people, and negotiated some conditions. For example, the last person he visited was Gideon Malick because he had some threats to do, unlike Stark, Gideon recognized him at first sight.

In a sense, he was as famous as Captain America.

"Alright, I didn't come here to talk about that," Jack waved his hand. "I came here to ask for your help."

"Help?" Nick was curious but didn't show it on his face. "Tell me about it!"

It was already noon when Jack returned to the spaceship carrying large and small packages. In his hands were various packaged foods. Although he didn't need to eat, don't forget, there were still two hungry little guys on the spaceship.

Upon returning to the living room, as expected, Pietro and Wanda slumped on the couch, looking lifeless and blankly at the chandelier.

The situation in Sokovia should be getting better day by day now."

Pietro and Wanda exchanged a glance, both expressing disbelief. They thought Jack was just saying it, but he actually did it!

The siblings never suspected that he might be lying to them because they had no reason to doubt him.

"So you can just wait and see," said Jack, lifting his glass of juice and gesturing towards the siblings before finishing it in one gulp.

Wanda and Pietro reacted automatically, their thoughts struggling to keep up.
