In the Extreme Speed Force tunnel, Jack raced forward at incredible speed.
Around him, streaks of light rushed away at the speed of light, creating an endless tunnel.
In the tunnel, various images and strange sounds flashed by.
These were projections of other universes. These universes would pull in anyone who slowed down.
Jack didn't pay much attention to them.
Although the images from these universes were interesting, he was in a hurry to see his wife and had no time for these useless things.
After running for a while, he could finally see where he was going.
He even saw Diana's projection in the distance.
As he was about to reach his destination, Jack's pupils widened when he suddenly saw a bright glow in the corner of his eye.
Then, suddenly, he took a sharp turn and went into another universe.
...
On a quiet road.
A rift appeared out of nowhere, and then a figure with sparks and lightning came out of it. The rift then closed behind them.
"Is this the place?"
Jack stopped and furrowed his brows as he looked around.
A road was built on the side of a mountain, surrounded by thick trees. The leaves made it hard for the sun to get through, giving the road a strange feeling.
Based on how many leaves were on the road, it looked like less than ten cars had been through this area in the past month.
It looked like a road that had been abandoned.
But what was strange was that Jack, who was standing in the middle of the road, had a strange sense of being at home.
He felt that everything around him was familiar, as if... he had been here before.
He often had this feeling before, but he hadn't paid much attention to it since he had experienced similar sensations in his previous life as well.
Although it was his first time coming here, he felt as if he had been here before.
But this time was different. This time, his feeling was incredibly strong.
To verify whether he had actually been here before, Jack chose not to use his biological force field to learn more about this planet.
Instead, He decided to walk downhill.
He had some thoughts in his mind that needed confirmation.
On the quiet forest road, There was nothing but the sound of his footsteps crunching dead leaves, and not even birds or bugs were buzzing.
It was a little scary how quiet it was.
But Jack didn't pay attention to these things.
He kept observing his surroundings, as if searching for something. His speed increased up, and he finally started running on the road as if he was going crazy.
He suddenly stopped and struggled to get to the side of the road. His eyes grew as he looked at a billboard by the road fixedly.
"What on earth is this!"
Jack's voice had a hint of disbelief and deep curiosity.
He looked at the billboard for a long time with a face full of surprise and doubt.
When the sun started to go down, he started walking again.
If the billboard was correct, He could see a city ahead, so he chose to go there first before thinking about anything else.
A gust of wind blew and scattered the leaves on a book. One of the leaves hit a billboard and then fell to the ground.
The billboard had a particularly eye-catching slogan.
"Welcome to National City."

CatCo Worldwide Media
As night fell and the lights came on, Europeans and Americans followed a perfect eight-hour work plan.
However, there were always a few unlucky people who had to stay behind for overtime.
Whether they liked it or not.
Kara was one of those unlucky ones.
Or you could say she was the only one.
Kara had just finished college and found a job with CatCo Worldwide Media, a big international company.
She naturally wanted to make a good first impression and fit in with ordinary people.
Ding-ling-ling!
Kara was focused on her work when her phone started to ring.
It seemed to bring something back to her mind, and her face got nervous as she quickly looked around on her messy desk.
When Kara found her phone, she didn't immediately answer it. She took a deep breath to calm herself before answering the call.
"Kara Danvers."
The voice on the other end of the phone made Kara frown, and she instinctively moved the phone away from her ear.
Kara did not put the phone back to her ear and say anything until she no longer heard anger and hatred in the voice and say.
"Alex?"
"Oh, I'm impressed that you still remember me."
The voice on the other end sounded both surprised and sarcastic, and anyone could feel the anger underneath.
"I'm sorry, Alex. I... I forgot what day it is today."
Kara weakly apologized over the phone,
"I'm sorry, I've been busy lately, and I'm still at the office."
"I can tell."
Alex sighed and said helplessly,
"I'm in your apartment, waiting with a cake for almost two hours. Who was it that asked me to celebrate her birthday? It took me a lot of effort to get time off."
"I'm so sorry, I'll head home right away!"
Kara wasted no time with empty words. Her hands moved quickly, leaving only a blur of motion, and within a few breaths, she had cleaned up her messy desk.
Once everything was in order, Kara grabbed her bag and started talking to her sister about the hard work as she left the office.
She quickly arrived at the entrance of the company, waved a random taxi, and was about to get in when she suddenly felt a palpitation in her heart.
No one was there. Apart from her and the taxi, there was no one else on the entire street.
But the feeling of being uneasy got worse.
Kara didn't know what was happening.
She wanted to figure out the source of this feeling, but when she checked the time and thought about Alex waiting for her, she decided not to delay any longer and got into the taxi.
Just as the car disappeared from the street, a figure appeared from the other side of the CatCo Worldwide Media building.
It was none other than Jack.
"CatCo International Media?"
Jack looked at the big sign on top of the building and rubbed his chin as he thought about it.
Ever since he arrived in the city, everything felt familiar to him, even the taste of the sandwich from the corner cafe's sign made him feel like he had eaten it somewhere before.
Although the sandwich didn't taste great, it strangely gave him a sense of calm.
As he walked around, Jack grew even more confused. The name of this company... sounded very familiar.
He looked at the time and saw that it was almost nine o'clock. After a moment of thought, he decided to find a place to stay and do more investigating tomorrow.
He looked at CatCo International Media and opened his hand to reveal that he was holding a necklace.
He needed to figure out why he saw something identical to what he received in his dreams in the DC universe.
As for Diana, he would have to meet her another time.
