Chapter 123: Coney Island

The night passed quickly, and Jack returned to the house looking tired in the morning.

He didn't make any progress all night, and he couldn't find the convergence point, which made him furious. But neither was it a total loss. For example, he found out that the Ancient One had been right about there being another parallel universe. Even though it wasn't clear, he could feel that there was a different universe out there.

The two parallel universes were constantly colliding, and although he did not find it tonight, Jack had found a pattern. In a few days, he could find the convergence point of the two universes at the latest.

Returning home, it was the weekend, and Wanda and Pietro had not yet woken up, but Jean was already up and eating breakfast cooked by Chloe.

"You're back! So, how did it go?" Seeing Jack come in, Jean stood up eagerly and looked at him with a mix of expectation and nervousness.

"Uh...I haven't found it yet, but I've found a pattern. I'll make a discovery soon, and it won't take more than a week," Jack carefully chose his words, afraid of disappointing Jean.

Despite his cautiousness, a hint of disappointment appeared on Jean's face. Seeing her like this, Jack thought for two seconds and suddenly asked, "How about we go to Coney Island today? Relax and enjoy some entertainment from this era?"

"Uh?"

When Jean heard this, she looked at him with excitement and said, "Really? "Coney Island? Can we go there?"

Coney Island is located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York City. Originally an island, it is about four miles long and one and a half miles wide. Its beach facing the Atlantic Ocean is a well-known relaxation and entertainment area in the United States.

After the American Civil War, it was developed into a resort area with a space-themed amusement park. In the last century, due to its unique geographical conditions and natural environment, it developed rapidly.

But after this time of success, things went down quickly. Many people have moved to Long Island because it is a nicer place to live. As a result, the economy here has been getting worse and worse.

However, In the late 1990s, it successfully attracted the attention of Stark Industries, or Tony Stark himself. He spent a huge amount of money to buy the area of Coney Island and turned it into a huge dreamland.

Tony himself personally designed all the toy facilities inside, and visitors highly sought after their safety and various play projects. Even from Jack's future, compared to this amusement park, Disney and others were simply weak, and the technological range was not in the same league.

Jack woke up the two siblings who were still sleeping upstairs. The two sleepy kids woke up as soon as they heard they would go to Coney Island. In less than half an hour, they were done cleaning up, changing clothes, eating breakfast, and getting ready to go.

Jack drove the car, started it, put on a seatbelt, released the handbrake, and immediately stepped on the gas pedal.

The car moved quickly, Pietro, who was in the passenger seat, was so excited that he forgot where he was. If it weren't for the seatbelt, he would have stuck his head out of the car to breathe in the sweet, slightly smoky air of New York.

In the back seat, Wanda and Jean were much calmer than he was. They were sitting a long way from each other, but both of their eyes were very obviously on Pietro.

If looks could kill, Pietro would have died long ago.

Jack was also helpless. He didn't want Peter to sit in the front seat, but the two young ladies in the back were difficult to deal with. Whoever sits on the other side will make them angry.

It was impossible for everything to go smoothly the whole time. On the weekends, many people go places, especially to Coney Island. Coney Island has become a sign of New York's holiday spot because of how Tony has run it over the years.

Even local residents would sometimes take their families to Coney Island to take a break and relax.

They finally set foot on Coney Island after an hour.

"Wow!"

As soon as they stepped onto Coney Island, the first thing that caught their eye was a huge Ferris wheel, which silently watched over New York like an eye.

Even in the city center, it can be seen very clearly. When you get up close, you realize that it is surprisingly huge.

Under the Ferris wheel were different amusement rides, such as pirate ships, roller coasters, giant swings, bungee jumping, and other common ones.

But the center was where the real excitement was.

Coney Island wasn't very big, but Tony's influence brought in many people. Because the crowd was so big, cars were not allowed on Coney Island. Instead, people would walk or ride bikes, or they could take the free tour bus from Stark Industries.

They parked the car in the parking lot and got out.

"Where do we start?"

Peter couldn't wait to ask, "I want to go explore the haunted house, how about it?"

"No way!"

Wanda and Jane hadn't even said what they wanted to do, but Jack said, "Forget the haunted house, let's play something else."

"Ah~ why?"

"Or you can go alone!"

"Be here at ten o'clock sharp tonight."

Pietro stared blankly at Jack, suddenly feeling like he had been tricked.

After sending Pietro away, Jack looked at the two young girls who were staring at him and coughed twice, saying, "Um... let's go too."

He then took one hand from each girl, saying that he didn't want them to get lost.

The three of them left the parking lot and walked to the entrance of the amusement park.
