34 Illusions Hurt
"Thena!"
"Who are you?" Thena glanced back at Kyle, she became interested after hearing her name.
"It's me, Ky-."
Kyle didn't know when, but he felt a someone stab his back with something sharp. He was protected by his armor, but when he turned around, he saw no one standing there.
"Impenetrable armor?" Thena looked at Kyle from her original spot with an expression of surprise. Kyle was still surprised on who managed to attack him from behind.
'Wait, she said she didn't know me...'
Kyle's doubts were answered in the next instant, it didn't take a genius to think that this was most likely Loki pretending to be Thena. At that moment he felt nervous and excited.
'He must be looking for the Tesseract.'
"You bastard!" Kyle roared, stepped forward, and dashed at the fake Thena with his saber.
At the same time, Thena disappeared from Kyle's view.
The next moment, Kyle felt the air stagnate——
Then, he felt his left cheek bleeding bleeding from a horizontal cut which he never noticed. Kyle realized at this moment he was too arrogantly until now. He wanted to run, but he knew there was no way to escape this type of fight without someone dying. He needed to check first.

Thena started to become transparent a few meters in front of him while holding a dark dagger.
The walls of the corridor began to transform into a golden-green patterned room.
After a few seconds, she started to ask the questions.
"Do you realize the danger of that item? It cannot be in the hands of humans any longer, so you must tell me where it is."
Kyle already began extracting {The Judge's Sprite}. Even though it would take quite some time, he decided that he should take it while it's still possible, even if he most likely won't get it.
He looked at the Eternal thinking he could give up the cube, or try to [Sneak] teleport. He was leaning towards teleportation, but he knew that would be useless with an Eternal.
From the information he received, they seemed to be good at traveling to places and tracking things down. His Hawk wouldn't work either, it would likely get one-shot.
Kyle had another thought with a nervous smile on his face, 'If I stay long enough, I can even grab the Rare Purple Ability Card. It's the only way that I can even win anyway.'

After another minute.
"Can I ask you a question first?"
Kyle wiped the blood from his cheek, looked at the woman, and decided what he should do, "Are you really a man or a woman?!"
"Huh? I'm really neith-"
Before she could answer, Kyle rushed to the Eternal at full speed. He felt his muscles straining because of how far he pushed his body. Unfortunately, she disappeared again before he realized what happened.
Kyle's vision went completely dark red, and he felt his whole body was having a fever. He was in a cold sweat with a stinging feeling across the left side of his neck and a ringing in his ears. This brought panic slowly as he touched his neck.
"Was I... too arrogant? Damn... who knew I was such a Wuxia young mast-"
Before he finished his final words, Kyle's head was finally fully cut from his head as it rolled on the ground a few times.
"What a liar, I still lost another chance to get the Space Stone. Sorry for killing you little human." she sighed slightly, this time she suffered a secret loss by coming here personally and gaining nothing. She lifted the disguise on her body that she used for fun, revealing a small child with short blonde hair.
As she lifted the illusion, she left through the same doorway Kyle entered. Steve had already fled with the hostages, assuming that Kyle would already be gone or follow him.
At this time, an alarm sounded suddenly from the hub control room which displayed a self-destruction sequence on the monitor screens.
The warning which read, 'Facility's self-destruction countdown: 61 seconds' was steadily decreasing, and Kyle was headless on the ground. . .
- 'Unsuccessful extraction, Failed to Draw Out {The Judge's Sprite}!'
