23: The Pot of Gold

Miles had stabled himself on the side of the wall swung out with his Spiderwebs and appeared into the cracked wall.

Aaron stared at the figure of the tall man who had appeared.

"what? Black spider?" Aaron became shocked momentarily, but he soon calmed down as he gazed ahead viciously.

wasn't this the person that his boss had instructed him to kill if he saw? who knew that this bastard would pull up himself.

The miserable couple on the bed could only stare at the two figures as if they were watching the craziest movie ever.

The carpet under The Prowler's feet ripped apart and the wood underneath that cracked, with a strange light, The Prowler shot towards Miles with his fists raised triumphantly.

'you decided to get more aggressive when you saw me?' Miles noticed the change in The Prowler's attack pattern after taking notice of his opponent.

"But, I've fought with you for long enough," Miles said as he hurriedly glanced at the street below the broken hole in the wall.

Many people had slowly started gathering to take notice of what all the commotion was.

Seeing The Prowler's sudden resolve and determination to kill him, Miles decided to use this to his advantage.

his spider webs shot out and he immediately swung towards a building before leaving the area.

The Prowler wasn't slow either, he was like a stealthy cat as he shot across the walls of the city buildings and gave chase towards The Black Spider.

"Why are you running now, fight me" The Prowler shouted deeply with his coarse voice as he chased after the swinging Spiderman.

"you want me to fight you?" Miles smiled before stopping immediately atop a rooftop.

"What?" The Prowler was shocked that Miles had stopped, but he still decided to keep his guard up as he ran up the building and appeared on the roof.

"I've been holding back too long," The Prowler said as he cracked his neck and then pumped up his fists, with a single step forward he shot towards Miles.

Just like that, the battle had traveled from the apartment to the rooftop of a tall building.

"you are too confident aren't you" Miles chuckled before raising his fist as well, Coupled with his Bio-Electricity, a few sparks of electric currents appeared around his fist as he struck out.

"This would be so much easier if I had a weapon" Miles sighed, but he still released the punch with his full strength.

boom!!

Just like that another loud explosion-like sound rang out, this time The Prowler had taken the full hit.

After stabilizing himself a few meters at the edge of the rooftop, The Prowler looked down at his burnt wrist and couldn't help but frown.

Coupled with Miles' strong physical ability, once an attack landed on The Prowler's Battle-suit, although it wouldn't be broken, the electric currents would still find a way into his body through the battle-suit.

"hmmm," The Prowler expressionlessly looked at his wrist before waving it off as if it was nothing.

Miles took notice of The Prowler's little moment to shoot out his Spiderwebs.

with a terrifying speed, they hurriedly wrapped around the Prowler's legs like slithering snakes before making their way around his torso.

"damn it, I was too careless" Aaron's usual stiff face suddenly changed exponentially as his heart fell, but he didn't give up.

"it's over," Miles said calmly before tightening his grip on the Spiderwebs, and with his supernatural strength, he gave it a hard pull.

Like a toy, The Prowler was dragged from the side of the roof and appeared in front of Miles' face like a stiff statue.

'These webs are very useful' Miles thought with a smile, With but a thought he could control his webs the moment he shot them out, and due to that he was able to use them to wrap around The Prowler's body.

The Prowler tried his hardest to move, but no matter what he did it was futile, his body was tightly contracted by the strange webs.

"Will this work?" Miles suddenly got an idea and channeled his Bio-Electricity through his Spiderwebs, but he soon gave up as he saw the electric currents traveling through the white Spiderwebs.

they didn't make it far, his Bio-Electricity still wasn't strong enough to fully move through his Spiderwebs effortlessly.

The Prowler felt his heart beating heavily, but no matter what he tried he couldn't move, it was unbearable.

Miles gave The Prowler a mocking smile through his mask before raising his fists and with all his strength.

Miles purposely aimed at the shiniest part of Aaron Davis' head and began pummeling it as if it was a punching bag.

Aaron Davis immediately blacked out under the continuous assault to his head, there was simply nothing he could do after getting constricted by the Spiderwebs, even his claws which could barely tear through the webs were currently useless as his hands were tied to his side.

Miles looked at Aaron's bloodied head and stopped attacking, this was to not hurt Aaron.

Although Aaron was only a normal person, he was very skilled, and Miles planned to use him in the future.

Even the couple who had been interrupted while making love had hurriedly put on their clothes and rushed out of their rooms in fear for their life.

Miles came through the window and stealthily entered the now-destroyed apartment room.

Holding tightly onto the Prowler's battle suit, Miles picked up Aaron's body before throwing him into the room without any care.

"Wait a minute" Miles' eyes landed on a silver vault-like container that had revealed itself after most of the items in the room were destroyed.

Miles hadn't noticed it previously due to the fight, even with his night vision he wouldn't notice the vault so easily if it weren't for the now emptiness of the room.

swoosh!

Miles swung out his webs and wrapped them around the Vault, with a light pull the opening was immediately ripped off as if it was a piece of tin foil.

"Shit" Miles stared at the contents inside the vault, it was stacks, upon stacks, and stacks of money.

"I gonna be fucking rich" Miles almost cried tears after seeing the bundles of money in there, this would be needed when he began making equipment for himself.

A lot of money!

Miles grabbed the whole Vault with one hand, And with The Prowler's Battlesuit on the other hand, Miles didn't do anything else before swinging out of the room towards an empty alley.

After changing direction multiple times around the city, Miles made his way toward Aunt May's house.
