(Visiting my parents house.)

Chapter twenty four:

Wanda woke up the next morning laying on my chest in the same position as the night before. That was the first full night of sleep she had since I was taken. It felt good to be close to her again. I've craved it since the day I left. Wanda's reaction to my surprise was exactly what I hoped for and what I needed. Three months is an eternity too long for another person. I didn't want to move or wake Wanda up but I wanted to apologize to everyone for my actions while Wanda was still sleeping. Starting to get up I felt her move, I had woken her up.

"Morning beautiful. I'm just about to get in the shower and then I'm going to apologize to everyone else." I said kissing her on the forehead. By the time I was dressed wany was up and had made breakfast for the both of us.

She was so thoughtful. There was something about her that seemed different she was calm and in control. While I ate she got in the shower so I didn't have to face everyone alone.

When she was ready she kissed me and spun me around and whisked in the kitchen to face everyone. That's the one thing that I missed. When I sped away it made Wanda feel sick. That was one of my favorite things about not having to sneak around anymore. Wanda held my hand as we walked into the kitchen everyone was sat down and eating but looked up as we entered.

"I'm sorry for everything that I did to you guys. I know you were all just trying to help. And I promise that I'll make it up to you all." I said.

They all just smiled in acceptance. Wanda then pulled up a chair and sat down next to me. I then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You've been back less than a week and PDA already." Replied Sam Wilson. Wanda then picked a jug of water and dumped it on his head

"I'm sorry." Said Sam Wilson.

"So Hawkeye what's Kate Bishop's hair like now?" Replied Wanda.

"It's longer actually. She said that she's growing it out and she's bored of all the comments." Said Agent Barton.

"Or she met someone." Replied Wanda.

"Did you guys have any parties while I was gone? Or did anyone new come along?" I said.

"Yeah actually Valkyrie is now the queen of Asgard." Replied Peter Parker.

"See there you go." I said before drinking my coffee.

"Why is everyone looking at me like that?" I replied.

"How did you know that from a haircut?" Said Bucky Barnes.

"Women 101. A woman will change their hair for one or two reasons, cause they're content in their relationship, or cause it's too long. She only fits one of those categories. Relationship 101. Kate's been spending to much time here it's not just for everyone's sake and if if she was really in the Louisiana surely she wouldn't be able to babysit whenever you needed her to. Kate also wouldn't be trying to talk to Agent Barton so badly for any other reason. Sorry babe." I explained.

They were all gobsmacked while I drank my coffee. "You're incredible. Natasha would have liked you. She would have read the situation the same way you did." Replied Wanda.

The very next day Wanda and I decided that it was a good idea to go see my parents. Once I resumed training I'd be so busy that I wouldn't have the time. It would also mean that I didn't have any mystery bruises I couldn't explain. As we pulled up I just looked at my beautiful girlfriend.

"Why are you looking at me like that Travis?" Said Wanda.

"Because I love you so much and because you're so beautiful. I just wanted to take a minute to appreciate both things." I replied.

Wanda then started to blush as I kissed her on the cheek. I then got out of the car and opened the door for Wanda as she took my hand in her's before we walked up to the front door.

As soon as my mom opened the door and tackled Wanda with a hug. Once she called dad down he joined in as well. Jordan then ran down the stairs and hugged Wanda before me.

"Well I'm offended." I said refusing to hug him after he prioritized my girlfriend.

"Will it help if I take your bags up to your room?" Replied Jordan.

"I actually have something I built for the both of you. It's in the car hold on." I said and ran out to the car to get the bench that I made in Wakanda.

"This is amazing kiddo." Replied my father.

"They sent me on a mindfulness course in Wakanda. This sign here means family. And this one means hope." I said tracing the carvings with my fingers.

That evening we decided to go out to our favorite local Italian restaurant. The owners there knew us very well. We had gone since Jordan I was sixteen or so. I was excited to take Wanda there. When my birth parents kicked me out they gave me a job to earn enough money to get emancipated. I kept the job until I went to college and got a law degree. I had just finished a year internship before Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes found me.

When we arrived Mia ran straight over and gave me a hug. "Travis we missed you. Is this your girlfriend that your parents have been talking about? Wanda." She said.

"I'm very lucky to have Wanda in my life." I replied. And Wanda just blushed at me.

We never have to order as they knew what we wanted. Wanda asked what they were recommended. They then brought over bruschetta for us to start. It was just as delicious as I remembered. It was just as delicious as I remembered. For mains they brought us a pizza and pasta. We had no room for desert as we were stuffed. We then thanked Mia and her husband Giuseppe for the food and wonderful service.

Just as we were about to leave the door opened and I saw my ex girlfriend. I then started to tense up.

"What's wrong babe?" Said Wanda.

"It's my ex girlfriend that's her over there." I replied before walking to the car.

"Travis is that you?" I just ignored my ex girlfriend. "That's not a nice way to treat a old friend." She said.

"You were never my friend and you know that. You made it where my birth parents kicked me out of the house, but you know what. I forgive you for all that." I replied.

Wanda then walked over to me. "Come on babe let's go." Said Wanda and gave my ex girlfriend a evil look.

My ex girlfriend then just stood there in shock. I wasn't sure if it was at my hot goddess of a girlfriend or at my forgiveness but I didn't care. I was happy. I had Wanda and a family now, no thanks to her.
