Chapter fifty six:

Charles Xavier removed his fingers from Carol Danvers head after he showed everyone the original timeline and how Wanda was the one who saved the multiverse from total destruction.

"I hope now after seeing the truth, you will realize what needs to happen. Carol Danvers, you of all people should've understand the dream. What the vision tried to show you." Said the Watcher.

"Wait how do you know about that?" Replied Carol Danvers.

Wanda Maximoff was at a loss of words after seeing what really happened. She still couldn't remember what her life was like in the original timeline, she never will, but seeing a glimpse of what it was like... How happy she could be around friends and family was heartbreaking to her. She gave all that up in exchange for this living nightmare, to save the entire multiverse and she does not remember doing it. Every horrible thing that ever happened to her was a result of her changing reality. Everyone she loved and lost from time to time again was never supposed to happen. The world fearing her, being corrupted by the Darkhold, being shunned by everyone, being all alone... It was never supposed to happen.

Jean Grey and I was holding Wanda's arms over our shoulders so that Wanda could stand up properly, she was bruised and beaten to a pulp. I then gave Wanda a hug while she was saddened willingly a perfect life for this painful, sorrowful and dreadful one to save lives.

"I'm here baby, it's okay Wanda." I told her.

All Wanda could do was cry softly onto my shoulder.

"I'm sorry babe... I can't imagine what you must be going through at the moment." I replied.

For the first time she had a moment to reflect on the fact that I truly loved her, and never doubted her. Wanda then looked into my eyes while whispering.

"Travis?" Said Wanda.

"I'm right here baby." I replied.

"I love you so much Travis." Said Wanda.

She then coughed up excessively from the damage done to her by the earth 616 heroes and earth 838 heroes.

"Like I said before, I love you more Wanda." I replied.

Everyone was at a loss for words over what Charles Xavier showed them. Everyone just stood there without saying a word.

I then wiped Wanda's tears away. Before touching her shoulder and lowering my head. Before Wanda lost her balance since she had no energy to properly stand. I then prevented her from falling and picked her up, before going in for another hug.

"Don't worry I got you. I got you." I said.

Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man 's walked towards Wanda and I and they put their hands on Wanda's shoulders. The two Spider-Man 's looked at each other and nodded their heads. Wanda then lifted her head to look at them.

"Look I don't really know you, but I can feel your pain. I just want you too know... That you will never be alone again." Said Andrew Garfield.

"The Watcher told us what happened to you, the things you went through your whole life... I can't imagine." Replied Tobey Maguire.

Tobey Maguire got tears in his eyes when he thought about his entire world that was lost and his entire family was just wiped out by Kang the Conquer's army.

"I think with the right people... We can get through this together. But we need to stop Kang the Conquer first." Said Tobey Maguire.

Everyone was shocked to find out the truth.

Even Carol Danvers was shocked as it turned out that every bad thing written about Wanda, was a lie by Chthon. That meant the prophecy had to be a lie too. The heroes of earth 838 finally understood that they were wrong. Everything was just a misunderstanding. They knew that Wanda's death wouldn't stop the Incursion War and even if it did, it would risk every other world in the multiverse. Wolverine and Deadpool finally let go of their anger over Wanda and everyone felt great pity for her and felt bad for what they did to her just moments ago.

Now no one knew what to do anymore. Killing Wanda won't do a thing, and Kang the Conquer was on the way, the Incursion War is destroying their universe while the multiversal war was in full effect on every single universe.

Silver Surfer then walked forward and touched Wanda on the forehead - emitting his cosmic energy from his hand, draining some of his life force and gave it to Wanda before she stood up properly, but she was still too tired and injured to be able to heal herself completely.

"This is all I can give you. I don't have much energy left myself. Back on my world, Kang the Conquer took most of it already." Said the Silver Surfer.

I then let go of Wanda so that she could stand up properly.

"Thank you... But I... I can't fight with you, and even if I could... *cough* I don't want to use red chaos magic anymore. It's been... *cough* a total hell since I used red chaos magic." Replied Wanda.

"Would you care to elaborate?" Said the Silver Surfer.

"She made a promise." Replied Carol Danvers.

"It's not that anymore... *cough* I just... Every single time I used my red chaos magic... But things happen and I don't want that. I don't want red chaos magic anymore." Said Wanda.

"Is that why you didn't fight back... When we all tried to kill you." Replied Wolverine.

"I'm sorry Wanda, but you were once a Nexus Being, the nexus entity inside of you is a permanent bind. You have all eleven entities in one, and it is impossible to get rid of it." Said the Watcher.

Wanda was crying softly through all of this. It was all just too much. This entire day was just too much.

"I don't want that burden... I just want to live a normal life." Replied Wanda.

Many heroes was feeling guilt for what happened moments ago. But some of the heroes of earth 838 was still angry at Wanda for the death of their friends when she killed them under the Darkhold 's corruption back in Doctor Strange the multiverse of madness.

"I hope you know that this doesn't change a thing for what you did... My husband is gone, because you killed him in cold blood." Said Susan Storm from earth 838.

"Wanda was completely clueless to the fact that the Darkhold is known for making even the purest of heart do unspeakable evil." Replied Doctor Strange.

"There is a entire chapter about her in the Darkhold? Doesn't it say something?" Said Susan Storm from earth 838.

"I had these robotic tentacle arms that corrupted me and I also did bad things. Things that I'm not proud. Not being in control of your actions sucks. I can attest on that." Replied Dr. Octopus.

"And Hydra forced me to attack Wanda and the Avengers, their was nothing that I could do about it." I then looked at Wanda. "Wanda means the world to me, and I promised myself and her that I would never lay a finger on her again. It still hurts just thinking about what Hydra made me do to her." I said.

"I was controlled by Hydra. They brainwashed me to be a killer, I was fully conscious, thinking that I was steering the wheel. I remember every moment. That will stick with me forever." Replied Bucky Barnes.

Wanda Maximoff then walked over to Susan Storm from earth 838 with the feeling of guilt and remorse. Wanda was truly sorry for what she did, but she never had the chance to say it to any of their friends or family. Now was the time to do so. Wanda Maximoff stood face to face with Susan Storm with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry... For what I did... To your husband (Mr. Fantastic). To all of your friends. I would never do anything like that willingly... (Wanda Maximoff begin to cry once again) "It was so horrible... And I couldn't stop myself." Said Wanda.

Susan Storm realized that Wanda was really sorry for what she did, she she felt angry that she couldn't be mad at Wanda, she was frustrated.

"Why is this so hard?" Replied Susan Storm from earth 838.

"I am truly, truly sorry for what I've done. I hope that you can forgive me." Said Wanda.

Wanda Maximoff then walked closer to Susan Storm, but Susan Storm just stepped backwards. After that there was a moment of silence for a while before the Watcher spoke up again.

"Wanda." Said the Watcher.

Wanda Maximoff then turned around and looked up at the Watcher who was standing in front of her.

"You were being corrupted by the Darkhold and Chthon for a reason." Replied the Watcher.

"What?" Said Wanda.

"It was supposed to happen." Replied the Watcher.

"But look at everything I've done because of red chaos magic. Not just the murdering, but the entire Incursion War is my fault." Said Wanda.

"I asked the Living Tribunal that same question. He told me that he planned for it to happen. He set events in motion that the Darkhold will end up in your possession." Replied the Watcher.

"I'm sorry what?" Said Wong.

"But why me?" Replied Wanda.

"Because you, Wanda Maximoff, was the only one capable of destroying the Darkhold. The Living Tribunal also noticed the strength in your mind. It was especially powerful when it comes to the ones that you love... You have one of the strongest heart's, giving you one of the strongest minds when it comes to love. Just as you saw moments ago you are the only one capable of breaking free from it's corruption. The same way you came over the nexus entities inside of you. If you were never corrupted by the Darkhold... Your brief corruption was meant to happen, to ensure that countless lives and universes are saved. No one else would've been able to do what you did. You were chosen for a purpose." Said the Watcher.

These words gave Wanda closure over what she did under the Darkhold 's corruption. Closure she's been seeking her entire life. It gave her a new perspective on many things, but it didn't take away the sadness over the deaths that she caused. Her belief that she was bad slowly begin to fade away, for a brief moment she had peace in her heart. Realizing for the first time there might be good inside of her...

"There is entire chapter devoted to me inside of the Darkhold. Look at me!" Said Wanda as she referred to her outfit. "I'm the Scarlet Witch and I possess red chaos magic. A dark magic... and I don't want it." Said Wanda.

"There is no such thing as a Scarlet Witch or red chaos magic. You are the Scarlet Redeemer, the complete opposite of what was written about you and what the people see you as. You possess a highly concentrated and powerful form of cosmic energy directly from the Celestials themselves. It is a sentient cosmic energy in the form of 11 nexus entities combined into one, mixed with highly powerful mutant abilities in your DNA along with your enhanced Inhuman abilities given to you by the mind stone. That sheer amount of unfathomable power is merely mistaken to be red chaos magic." Replied the Watcher.
