Chapter twenty three:

Wanda really enjoyed last night. We was dancing into the late hours and it made me appreciate her even more. That was exactly what I told her before I left her for Wakanda it's the note that Wanda held onto while I was gone. We enjoyed the weekend but I was annoyed with Jordan third wheeling. Today was our first mission since I got home. It was a easy mission just recovering some files that have gotten into the hand's of Hydra. I was needed back in the field. My red mist wasn't in complete control yet. And I was worried that I would see the hydra agent that took me and lose it. Wanda really didn't worry about my safety anymore since I was pretty invincible now. Watching me put the hydra agents on their ass on a regular basis was incredibly sexy to Wanda.

We met in the equipment room to go over the tasks. Carol Danvers pressed a button showing Nick Fury as Gamora had returned to Wakanda on her own mission.

"Welcome to the A-Force team Miss Maximoff, Travis and. Now today's mission is simple get files bring them home and don't get captured Travis." Said Nick Fury.

Carol Danvers threw us our suits. It felt nice to be back. "Looking good Travis." Replied Wanda before kissing me quickly.

"Feeling good Wanda. I'm one lucky boyfriend." I said before winking at her.

"Can you stop flirting so I can give you your task?" Replied Carol Danvers.

"That's rich." Said Wanda which made me giggle.

"Alright so the files are being kept on a ship just on the coast of Miami. Valkyrie and I will land on the top of the ship clearing it from the Mantis, Nebula, Hope Van Dyne and Cassie Lang will be on port duty. Travis and Wanda will sweep from the bottom and the files should be on the second level of the main floor. Let's go get some Hydra ass." Said Carol Danvers.

As we approached the ship I started to get nervous. Wanda then felt me tense up so she took my hand in her's. "We got this babe. Don't worry." Said Wanda.

We landed a mile away so that we wouldn't alert the Hydra. Valkyrie and Carol Danvers landed on top of the ship. While Wanda and I landed on the bottom. Mantis, Nebula, Hope Van Dyne and Cassie Lang took position on the port. We all then took a deep breath and started to work our way through the ship. There was only a few mechanics in their which we took out easily. As we went up a level the number of people we encountered increased. Four different people jumped on me at the same time. Wanda knew that I could handle it but she wanted to help.

"Keep your hands off my boyfriend." Said Wanda and made them fly into the ocean.

"Ok that was really hot." I replied before getting back up to my feet. Wanda just rolled her eyes as the next set of guys attacked us.

Before they could even get near Wanda I had wiped them all out with my red mist. "I feel like I could just pull up a chair and you wouldn't need any help." Said Wanda as I tore through the last few people on the level and sent them flying overboard.

"You know that I love me a good hype mentor." I replied. There was no sign of the files so we moved up to the next. That's when we came face to face with the guy who took me.

"Hey dip shit, Bruce Willis called and he wants his bald head back." I said throwing the hydra agent through the door while using my red mist.

"You are alone Wanda truly never loved you." The hydra agent was trying to get me to shift. I just stopped and smirked leaving the hydra agent confused.

"Sorry but that little trick doesn't work on me anymore. You may be the dumbest villain ever." I said before letting Scarlet Witch have her way with him.

Wanda manipulated metal out of nothingness and gave him a nightmare of his wildest dreams.

"Enjoy." Replied Wanda before we headed off to find the files. We must have taken out twenty different agents before we found the files on the bridge.

"We got the files. And are ready for pickup." Said Hope Van Dyne.

"Rest of the levels are clear." Replied Cassie Lang.

"All of the hydra agents are dealt with Mantis is holding them to the side of the ship." Said Nebula.

"Good job A-Force. Let's get you guys home." Replied Nick Fury. In that moment Wanda kissed me long and passionately in sheer relief.

We were safe and we were going to be okay. As we disembarked Fury's agents came to arrest the hydra agents. We then handed over the files to Agent Hill.

Getting back onto the jet and seeing everyone through the mission without any bruises or injuries was brilliant. Cassie Lang was speaking excitedly about all the bad guys she had taken down while in her Ant Man suit. We all listened to the great details she had went into.

Wanda then rested her head on my shoulder. "I know you were nervous about the mission but you kicked some serious ass there." Said Wanda before she kissed me on the cheek.

"You were a true hero today. You made it look so easy out there. I think that your training is complete. And I'm not sure what else I can teach you." Replied Wanda.

I then kissed her gently. "My love you teach me things every day. I'm not talking about my telekinesis or any of that necessary stuff. You teach me patience, kindness, love and hope just by being with you." I said.

"I love you to heaven and back Travis." Replied Wanda before kissing me.

"I love you too heaven and back as well Wanda." I said before kissing her back.

"Get a room already." Replied Carol Danvers.

"You're just jealous cause you and Jordan hadn't done it yet." I said and Carol Danvers just rolled her eyes at me.

"See you've got to teach me how to stop doing that." I replied winking at Wanda. She will teach me things for the rest of my life and I couldn't wait.
