Chapter fifty seven:

Everyone then looked up, and was anticipating a army to come through.

"He is here." Said the Watcher.

Wanda Maximoff then looked at me as I was standing next to her.

"Trav... I'm scared." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Don't worry Wanda, we will protect you." Said Carol Danvers.

"You have our word." Replied Andrew Garfield.

"I promise you babe, nothing will happen to you today." I said.

"But... What about you? I can't lose you. I can't... Please Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Wanda how many times will I have to say this? I will never leave you. I promise." I said.

"Cap... I believe this is the part where you tell us what we should do, cause I'm having a panic attack right now." Replied Ant- Man.

"Honestly, I am as plan less as you. All I can say is be prepared for anything, and stay close to each other... Keep your eyes open. And have each other's backs. Protect Wanda Maximoff at all costs." Said Captain America.

"I missed you, buddy." Replied Sam Wilson.

"This is so much worse than that nightmare I had in 2015." Said Iron Man.

The purple portal in the sky suddenly closed, Doctor Strange then spoke simultaneously.

"This is it." Replied Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange formed invisible armor around each hero for protection, protecting us from potential extremely powerful attacks. It's the same armor that he gave the heroes against Infinity Ultron. (In What If?.... Season 1 episode 9.)

Prime Kang the Conquer then appeared in front of us, without his army, without the other Kang's in his council. He then walked towards us with his arms behind his back.

"You all know who I am... And you all know why I'm here... I am not here to fight, but I will if you do not hand over Wanda Maximoff. You all played right into my trap when the truth was right in front of you the entire time." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

All of the heroes stood in front of Wanda Maximoff and formed a barrier between her and Prime Kang the Conquer. Doctor Doom suddenly switched sides and stood next to Prime Kang the Conquer.

"I should've known! We shouldn't have trusted you... Replied Magneto.

"You stole my thing!" Said Loki (the god of stories.)

"He stole your thing!" Replied Sylvie.

"A couple of hours ago, Prime Kang the Conquer spoke to me through a hologram and revealed to me his master plan. I was the one who pulled the strings the entire time. I planted the seeds in your head to be convinced to stop Wanda Maximoff. An incursion was never stopped by killing the one responsible. This is just absurd. I also knew where she was all along, but I needed to delay you from finding her. I told Kang the Conquer about White Vision. I gave him the idea to make it seem like Vision died again, to teleport him to the quantum realm, control his mind and make him attack Wanda Maximoff and make him convince everyone to turn on Wanda so that she could be weakened enough for us to take her power." Said Doctor Doom.

"But... Why?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Because on my universe you took everything from me! I hate you... Plus... Kang's plans are nothing less than genius. Controlling the multiverse with your powers... I wish I thought of that." Said Doctor Doom.

"You son of a bitch!" Replied Susan Storm.

"I told you that we shouldn't have trusted him!" Said the Thing.

"What made you guys trust him anyway? He is nothing but pure evil!" Replied Jonny Storm aka Human Torch.

"I grow tired of this chattering. You have no chance against us. Hand Wanda Maximoff over. Now." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"We're the Avengers... You're nothing but another power hungry lunatic, desperate for control. We're not afraid of you." Replied Ironman.

"I am." Said Anti- Man.

"Don't do this. You know how this will end. It's 77 to 1." Replied Captain America.

"Is that so?" Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

He then revealed a head of a Tony Stark that he already killed. And threw it at Iron Man's feet. Iron Man then looked at the head and took small breaths out of fear.

"I am Groot." Replied Groot.

"Shut up Groot, just shut up." Said Starlord.

"I am Groot?" Replied Groot.

"Just keep your mouth shut." Said Starlord.

"Oh yes... The talking tree." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"I swear if you touch him..." Said Rocket.

"You'll what... Kill me? You're a talking chew toy." Replied Kang the Conquer.

"Okay now you've gone too far!" Said Rocket.

"Rocket! Don't!" Replied Nebula.

Rocket the raccoon charged his blaster and ran towards Prime Kang the Conquer. Prime Kang the Conquer then lifted up his hand and killed Rocket the raccoon, disintegrating him with blue cosmic energy blasting from his hand. Everyone was startled and Starlord gave Prime Kang the Conquer a look of utter hatred and grief.

"Rocket...." Said Nebula.

"That was the biggest mistake of your life." Said Starlord.

"Easy Quill... Don't engage." Replied Iron Man.

"You! Killed my best friend!" Said Starlord.

"Don't engage!!!" Replied Ironman.

"I will kill you." Said Starlord.

Before Peter Quill could finish his sentence, Prime Kang the Conquer force choked him with telekinesis only using two fingers. (Darth Vader style.)

"If you wish to stay alive, I would not speak a single word further. Do we have a understanding?" Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

Peter Quill tried to breathe, but his windpipe was completely shut.

"I said... Do you understand?" Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

Peter Quill couldn't say a word, as his throat was completely closed, but he nodded his head. Prime Kang the Conquer then let him go and Starlord gasped for air.

"Is there anyone else who wishes to see their own head? Doctor Strange? Perhaps?" Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

He summoned another head and it was the third Doctor Strange that he killed already. Doctor Strange just took a deep breath.

Many of the heroes was sick to their stomach. Some of them was in such fear, that they wanted to faint, mostly the younger ones such as Kamala Khan, America Chavez, Yelena Belova, and Kate Bishop.

"You think that by... By showing us this... That we would just give up on Wanda?" Said Kamala Khan.

"Kamala Khan, is it? Among all of your friends, you were always the easiest one to kill." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

Prime Kang the Conquer then showed Kamala Khan a holographic figure of him brutally killing one of her variants in the multiverse, stabbing her in the chest and twisting the knife slowly as Kamala Khan cried for mercy. Our Ms Marvel was in such fear that she struggled to stay on her feet. Every instinct told her to get out of there.

"This is what will happen to all of you... If you don't hand Wanda Maximoff over to me." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"You're sick!" I said.

"Oh but it's not me that's sick... It's the world... Why would you risk your life for such a fragile, weak minded inferior being?" Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"I'd die a million times over to protect the woman that I love..." I said.

"Travis. No. Don't." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Maybe I should kill you where you stand." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"Leave him alone!" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You have two options here... You will give me what I need..." Said Prime Kang the Conquer before he pointed to one of the heads.

"You're missing the big picture. We have a Hulk." Replied Iron Man.

"And why do you think that would intimidate me. I've defeated a lot of more Hulks throughout my years of conquest." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"What do you want with Wanda? What do you want with the multiverse?" Replied Doctor Strange.

"Contrary to what you were told me about... I'm doing this for the greater good." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"By slaughtering millions of innocent lives?" Replied Carol Danvers.

"A war is not won without bloodshed... The world is cruel, unjust place. I dedicated my life to free humanity from mutants. But I realized that it's not just mutants... The entire universe... The entire multiverse is unruly, chaotic, and rotten to the core... We live in a society that does not care about anyone else except themselves. I want to fix that." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"Is that why you want to rule everything? To enforce your sick, twisted laws upon everyone in existence?" Replied Doctor Strange.

Prime Kang the Conquer then looked at Wanda who was hiding behind everyone else, she was in no shape to defend herself against him or engage in a conversation with him, Wanda Maximoff was weakened and in pain beyond measure. Both physically and emotionally.

"Wanda Maximoff you of all people understand just how cruel and unjust the world can be... They fear and hate you, they do not care what you've been through or why you did what you did. They do not care about you. They never saw you for who you truly are, and it breaks your heart, doesn't it? Even these so called heroes, who are now suddenly defending you, tried to ruthlessly kill you just moments ago. The world never cared about you or what you suffered. Just as they did not care about me. If I have your powers, I can unsure no one would ever go through what you and I went through, ever again." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

Wanda Maximoff understood what he was telling her. The world was cruel to her from the start, she would do anything for no one to experience the same things that she experienced in her life. She then looked at the helicopter that was recording everything, thinking about what the world thought of her at this very moment they looked at Wanda on TV screens. Some were on buildings in times square. Many people gathered together to witness what was happening.

"You and I are not so different, you know." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"I am... Nothing... Like you." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"The world has lost it's way. I will ensure that the entire multiverse works in collective harmony, striving onward and upward... To greater glory." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"By enslaving every single person in the multiverse to do your bidding?" I said.

"I don't see harmony in that... Pun not intended." Replied Daredevil.

"Everyone will be equal, working towards the same goal, making the world a better place for everyone." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"You're insane." I replied.

"To the contrary... I'm the only sane person here." Said Prime Kang the Conquer.

"Leave now or we will stop at... And I mean nothing to put a end to you once and for all! You are outnumbered." Replied Thor.

"You really think that you can intimate us?" Said Doctor Doom.

"You are all insects that will be squashed underneath my boot." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"Trust me, that won't end well for you." Said Loki (the god of stories.)

"Trust me, I've heard this a million times before, and I won every single time." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"Do you realize the amount of incursions you and your variants are causing at this moment?" Said the Watcher.

"It is a unfortunate side effect of multiversal travel, which I made devices that prevent incursions, unlike my variants. But with Wanda's power's, I could do everything with a single thought. I could change anything I want. I will make the universe a paradise." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

"You're still taking everyone's free will and you call it the greater good!" Said Sylvie.

Prime Kang the Conquer then looked at Wanda.

"Give me your powers... And this whole nightmare ends... I can fix this Incursion War and save your universe from annihilation." Replied Prime Kang the Conquer.

Wanda Maximoff then looked at him angrily and saddened.

"Never." Said Wanda Maximoff.

Deep down she wanted to get rid of her red chaos magic, but not at the cost of her own life and the fate of the multiverse.
