(Back at training.)
Chapter twenty five:
It was nice to spend a few days away from HQ. My family was so welcoming and made Wanda feel at home. But I was slightly jealous of the amount of time that Jordan and Wanda together so I was dying to get back to HQ. Plus I had this new amount of strength that I wanted to show Wanda.
Today was first day back at training since I left for Wakanda. And I was nervous. I didn't just keep my locked away because I missed Wanda. My red mist was starting to get out of control. Sometimes I'd wake up from a nightmare with smashed windows or red eyes with my red mist working without my say. I hoped that being with Wanda I'd have more control but I needed to address the amount of input of my emotions and power's. Wanda had come back a more centered person maybe she could teach me a few things. There was a calm about her now. I thought when we came back from my parents house there would be times when she'd be upset about my ex girlfriend but instead she was rational and almost grateful as it took away her dark twisty side as she liked to refer to it.
As we approached the training room I started to feel nervous. Wanda sensed that and took my hands in hers. "You ready babe?" She said.
"As I'll ever be." I replied. Sam Wilson told me that we needed to reassess me. All they knew was that Hydra had injected me with a drug that made me stronger but they didn't know if I had developed anything else.
Wanda started her assessment of my powers. I could still use my red chaos magic with my hands and my ability to read minds still worked. Wanda and I used it a lot while we were at my parents house.
"Alright Travis I'm done with you it's time for you to kick Bucky's ass." Said Wanda before giving me a quick kiss on the lips.
The next part of my assignment was to fight Bucky Barnes. I knew I had gotten stronger so I decided to use my strength and intelligence. Bucky Barnes swung the first punch so I grabbed his wrist and turned his arm around behind his back before kicking his knee so that he was on the ground. I then knelt down on the back of his legs and kept Bucky Barnes pinned to the floor. He then tapped out. That didn't require as much intelligence as I thought it would.
"Shit Travis where did that come from?" Said Bucky Barnes and I just shrugged at him. Hurting him was something that I didn't want to do so I was glad that the assessment was over. I knew that he had been good Wanda answering any questions she had on Wakanda and their ways of healing.
"See the punching bag there I want you to hit it a couple of times before landing your most powerful punch. Just to try something." Said Bucky Barnes.
I nodded my head before heading over to the punching bag.
I then took a deep breath. Ok right jab, left jag. Right hook, left hook. Right upper cut, left upper cut. Now to hit it as hard as possible. I then took a deep breath before punching the bag as hard as I could. Hitting the bag as hard as I could, I was in disbelief as it flew across the room and disintegrated entirely.
"Holy shit." Said Peter Parker.
"Language." Bucky Barnes.
"That was really impressive." Said Wanda and I just winked at her.
"Bucky I was thinking that maybe we get him to run a few laps at full speed and test his stamina." Replied Sam Wilson.
Bucky Barnes nodded in agreement so I followed them outside as Wanda continued to work with Monica and Peter Parker. When instructed I ran a few laps at top speed. Usually after two minutes I had to stop. But this time I had managed to hit 5 minutes at top speed. I was like a machine. Just then I heard a noise to see a bright yellow light heading towards us it was Carol Danvers.
We then headed back inside to have some lunch. And I just looked at Carol Danvers short hair before laughing.
"What's so funny Travis?" Said Carol Danvers.
"Nothing I like the new haircut. Just one question how does Jordan like it?" I replied.
Carol Danvers just spit out her drink all over Bucky Barnes and everyone started to laugh.
"Why does this keep happening to me?" Said Bucky Barnes while drying himself off.
"How did you know that it was a new haircut?" Replied Carol Danvers as she looked at me.
"I have my ways." I said while eating lunch.
Wanda and I decided to spend the evening in the cabin. As we hadn't had a lot of alone time since we got back. It had been over two weeks since we our first mission with the A-Force. When we were at my parents house Jordan took up a lot of her time and it was annoying as hell. I think that the change of scenery was good for the both of us.
While we were lying on the bed watching a movie I just looked at her. While I was in Wakanda I started to forget her face. I wanted to know every freckle and laughter just in case I had to go without her again.
"You're staring at me again cutie." Said Wanda as she looked up at me.
"I know I was just admiring my beautiful goddess of a girlfriend." I replied. Wanda just smiled and rolled her eyes at me.
"It's nice to spend some quality time together. I've missed this. Lying here with you and doing nothing." Said Wanda.
"I just realized that it's my turn to pick the next date." I replied.
"That'll be nice." Said Wanda before she rolled over and kissed me. It was soft and needy. Wanda then grabbed the remote and turned the TV off before turning her attention back to me.
Wanda then started to kiss my neck and left small licks. I just smiled as I knew what she wanted to do next.
"How about we test some of that stamina?" Said Wanda before leading me to the master bedroom where we started to french kiss each other and made love. Before I managed to release my sperm all over her vagina.
