Chapter 88 The Plot

Kurari once again was stopped by Sullivan. he used his power so that she could not walk away.

She tried to break out of Sullivan's control but how many times or how much strength she muttered. She couldn't break free.

Her patient runs dry. He stopped her movement but he didn't stop her ability to speak.

"What do you want dum* as*! Stop freezing me every time when I want to go away!"

"How fierce!"

Sullivan laughed. She was so angry right now. He knew what he did was considered a deprivation of liberty. but he still did it because it was funny.

Sullivan after finishing his laughing spoke to her with his chilling smile.

"Okay, Okay. I will let go of you but promise me you will not do anything when I let go of you otherwise I may have to freeze you like…forever"

Kurari who was very angry hearing what he said made her felt like a bucket of ice-cold water was poured down onto her head. She effectively calmed down.

"Well that's better"

Sullivan then let go of her this time she didn't try to walk away like last time. She looked at him coldly. She waits for him to say what he wants.

Seeing her being like that made Sullivan feel guilty a bit. yes, only a little bit. He just wants to speak with her so why does the need to make things difficult.

He got straight to the point.

"Do you want to go with us? We have information where the hunter's exam will take place but not a hundred percent though."

Hearing him say that he knew where the hunter's exam will take place. She had a reluctant face. She want to know where the hunter's exam will take place but She didn't want to go with him.

Sullivan knew what her desire but he didn't know why she did not want to go with them.

Sullivan sighed he didn't want to force her. He freeze her because she didn't even want to listen.

This will be the last time he would be doing like this.

"Look like you don't want to come with us. So let's not be hard with each other. Don't worry I won't ever freeze you again promise."

Sullivan said with his playful smile before he went back to his group not even waiting for her answer.

Kurari was stunted he come and go as he wanted. He didn't even give her time to think.

She wanted to call for him. But he and his group have already walked away. Leorio becomes one of his group. He clicked with Gon and He talked to him like they knew each other for a long time.

Seeing them walk away like that and Leorio was accepted into the group. Somehow it made her feel like she was left behind because she wasn't good enough.

"What the…How can I feel like that"

She didn't know. She looked left and right. There only one path lead a head.

"There's only one path. It isn't like I want to go with them…"

Kurari then walk along the path. Her back looked lonely for some reason.

With Sullivan group. Hermione looked at Sullivan before she sighed.

"You did that on purpose."

"Well yes"

"Why? I knew she was one of the characters even though he is a she now. Even we don't have her we still could finish the mission."

Hermione had a point how could he explain to her. It was for his satisfaction he didn't want the plot to stray away too much from the original even if it is AU.

And he wanted to test if he could manipulate the event to his liking. He knew that there were forces behind. he will call it the plot.

Hermione after hearing what is his purpose of doing what he did. She could only nod. She was also curious about it too.

They may be encountered many different things from Sullivan's knowledge but if he could control it. It may help them in the future.

Kurari was now following them from afar. She knew that sooner or later she will join them. Sullivan could grasp her personality like she was an open book.

He purposefully lets her go and treated her like she was not worth the effort. after that, he accepted Leorio who she thought was inferior to her. She would never accept that.
