61: Dr. Strange

After walking through the city and calming down his thoughts, Austin headed towards a lovely Italian restaurant that seemed to be bustling with activity.

Now that he thought about it, he hadn't eaten in so many days yet he still didn't feel hungry, he only felt slightly hungry after his nose got a whiff of the delicious food that was being cooked inside this restaurant.

Austin booked a seat and then waited patiently for a waiter to come to take his order.

"Hello sir, what would you like to have today" A young man who looked like a high-schooler came up and asked Austin respectfully.

"I'll take...." Austin ordered some delicacies from the main menu and then waited for his food.

After it came he immediately devoured it as if there was no tomorrow.

While Austin was prepared to leave the restaurant, he felt a strange feeling in his heart and around the space near him.

The restaurant he was in had warped and everyone around seemed to be separated from him by a barrier that blocked dimensions.

Austin released a sigh and didn't bother looking up from his table.

"Damn, you guys knew I was on earth already?" Austin said with a smile before looking up at the middle-aged man in a red cape who had just appeared.

it was Stephen strange, otherwise known as Dr. Strange, the master of the magical arts.

Stephen looked at Austin in confusion for a second as he stood in front of the circular teleportation thing he had created.

"You don't seem surprised to see me," Stephen asked while looking at Austin.

"Well, let's get this over with, I'm sure you want to speak to me so let's go," Austin said before sitting up, Dr. Strange was a character that couldn't be underestimated, he was even capable of going to toe with Thanos for a long while even though Thanos was wielding 4 infinity stones at once that time.

Stephen raised an eyebrow as he saw Austin walking towards him, but he didn't say much, using his wizard arts they both flew through the teleportation circle which Stephen had conjured.

After jumping through the gateway, Austin was greeted by many familiar faces as he appeared in a random old-fashioned building.

He was in the New York sanctum which was under the control of Dr. Stephen Strange.

"Yo, Tony, didn't expect to see you here, even your here too hulk?" Austin raised a hand and waved at them both.

Tony who was sitting on a couch solemnly looked at the appearance of Austin and didn't know how to react, this guy had suddenly disappeared for a few days after what had happened in space with the Asgardians, Thor, and everyone else.

"Ah, Austin, Glad to see you back and healthy," Tony said with a slight smile, he was holding back his mood which had been awakened due to the things he had heard from Bruce and Strange.

Stephen looked on as Austin communicated with Tony and Bruce, after they were done and seated he had Wong who was standing in the distance to continue his explanation.

Austin listened attentively, Wong went on about how the universe was created and then the infinity stones were all created.

As much as Austin didn't want to be here right now, he knew he had no choice as Thanos would be making his move on earth very soon.

As Wong, Bruce, and Stephen informed Tony about the dangers of Thanos and his powers, Tony didn't seem to take them seriously at all.

his eyes landed on the Time Stone which was on Stephen's necklace and he said.

"Well, if Thanos wants all the infinity stones, why not just destroy this one so he won't get them," Tony said with rolled eyes.

We swore to protect the time stone with our lives, that is something we can't do" Wong said sharply after hearing what Tony had said.

"Austin, what do you think? you had an interaction with Thanos right?" Tony ignored them and looked at Austin who was seated leisurely in his seat.

Hmmm, well" Austin sat up from the couch and began to speak.

"Tony, This Thanos is someone we have to take seriously, even I, will have a hard time taking him on," Austin said after some deep thought.

"So you're implying you could take him on?" Tony pointed out with a raised brow.

"Well, yes I can if he doesn't get all of the stones" Austin shrugged his shoulders and replied.

Bruce banner looked at Austin in shock and realization.

" i- I think he can probably take Thanos on, he was strong enough to even fight against Hela," Bruce said with a smile after thinking back to the hellish scene on Asgard.

'is he that powerful?' Stephen thought looked at Austin and then looked at Wong from the side of his eyes, but Wong could only shake his head in confusion as well.

Hearing Austin's words, Tony felt like he needed to think the situation through.

Although he knew he hadn't seen all of Austin's powers, with the way he could go anywhere in the universe, technically freeze time in a specific area, and easily deal with most supervillains and mafia bosses that terrorized New York, Tony Felt like Austin was incredibly powerful if he went all out.

According to Bruce, Austin was even far more powerful than Thor and was able to destroy a planet using a huge Asteroid if he willed it.

"So then, since you guys know all this, how do you think we should stop this Thanos guy?" Tony asked as his eyes roamed everyone in the room.

"Well, basically stop him from taking all of the stones" Stephen replied while looking at Tony.

"Well, I know that" Tony rolled his eyes and sighed.

"but how do you plan to stop him from taking the stones when he already has two in his hands," Tony said with raised brows, from what he knew, Thanos was practically the strongest existence in the universe currently due to him wielding the power of two infinity stones.

Tony was just confused about how they would be able to stop someone who had infinity stones, he wasn't scared but he was just going off what everyone had told him.
