Austin took a warm shower before putting on some date-worthy clothing, even styling his hair.

if the girl was ugly, he would beat up the fat guy black and blue. but, if there was a small chance that she was pretty then he had to make sure to at least appear nice!

Austin stood in the mirror and looked at his handsome and elegant figure, his facial features had become more prominent and he stood out way more than before, his long black hair fell to his shoulders and added a look of roughness to his character.

It was around 7:15 when Austin got a text from malik telling him to meet up with him outside of school. After leaving the university Austin immediately noticed malik in the distance, the chubby guy was dressed in a neat black and white tuxedo, and he seemed to be going all out.

"was there a need for you to wear a whole suit?" Austin said with a disgusted look.

Malik cleared his throat before saying "what do you know, this girl is so pretty, how can I look a mess while standing next to her" in an argumentative tone.

"fine whatever, where are they?" Austin said while looking around, Malik had a car which was a good thing, or else this whole date would be embarrassing if they had to walk around.

"give it a minute man-" malik stopped in the middle of his sentence before looking at Austin up and down, his eyes soon widened in shock as he said.

"y-you, when did you get so tall? you are almost my height now" malik said in pure astonishment, he could remember that Austin used to be only around 172 cm tall, even during their time as seniors in high school, it was unexpected for him to suddenly grow to a height of almost 178 cm.

"I don't know. maybe I'm having a late growth spurt" Austin replied while trying to think of something to change the subject.

"a late growth spurt? that seems logical, you are finally becoming tall" malik was easily convinced and didn't ask about it anymore.

It wasn't long before two females walked out of the university, they seemed to be heading toward Austin and malik.

Seeing as malik waved the duo, Austin realized that this was the two girls they would be going on a double date with.

 "hey mya," Malik said as he hugged the short girl.

mya was a petite girl with long hair, she was African American and looked beautiful with smooth skin.

"hey, malik" she replied with a smile and returned the hug before looking at Austin and then at malik.

"oh right, Austin, this here is Cynthia, Cynthia this is Austin who I told you about yesterday," Malik said with a laugh while scratching the back of his head, he almost forgot to introduce his two guests.

Austin looked at "Cynthia" she was also short like mya and had long hair but seemed to be of Asian descent, Austin found her pretty cute.

"Hello Cynthia, it's nice to meet you," Austin said while looking into Cynthia's eyes.

Cynthia nodded with a smile and responded with a blush.

"Hello Austin, it's nice to meet you too" Cynthia seemed like a shy girl, but she was incredibly beautiful, it was something about her figure in that dress as well as her smooth and soft skin that touched Austin.

Where has this girl been hiding? how come he had never seen her till today?

to think fatty malik had such skills for scouting out girls, he had to repay the big guy another time.

Cynthia returned Austin's eye contact but soon looked away, she thought if she looked any longer she would lose herself in a deep void.

"alright stop flirting let's go," Malik said while holding mya's hand and walking towards his Toyota.

Austin didn't bother to hold Cynthia's hand, it would be weird and might make her uncomfortable as they had just met, he could only stand next to her as they followed malik and mya.

While they were walking to the parking lot which was only a couple meters away, Cynthia struck up a conversation.

"So Austin, Malik told me a lot about you, I didn't know you would be so much different from what he said" 

Austin was surprised by her words by responding with a questioning look "what exactly did he say about me"

Cynthia giggled while seeing his questioning look.

"he told me about how you were a big and cruel man, of course, I figured he was joking," Cynthia said with a smile.

"I am only cruel to him because he deserves it" Austin replied while rolling his eyes, this fatty bullshitted his way with lies while talking to another girl about him.

"even so, yall seem like really good friends" she responded the moment they entered the parking lot, malik's car wasn't too far so they immediately found their way toward it.

"we are, that will never change," Austin said while looking at malik who was opening the car door and pretended not to hear their conversation.

"I was surprised you decided to come on this date, malik tells me you aren't the type who enjoys such things," Mya said while she sat in the passenger seat.

"Well, I'm not, but I get bored while staying inside school all day, so why not"

 Austin said while opening the door for Cynthia and entering after her.

"you should come outside more often, stop trying to be a monk," Malik said with a laugh while trying to start up his car.

"Being a monk is better than getting in trouble outside with you" Austin replied, in school, he was a quiet kid, but ever since meeting this fatty he would occasionally get in trouble in class, whether it was because malik would do something stupid and they would both get into trouble or they would both end up in fights they had no business being in.
