After his talk with Stark regarding the recruitment concluded Fury suddenly asked
"By the way, you wouldn't happen to know anything about a kid wearing black clothes and a Mickey Mouse mask who stole Arc Reactors from the Hammer Drones, would you?"
"Wait a second, he's real!?"
Tony asked surprised at the question of the spy chief.
"Do you know something?"
Asked Fury seeing Tony's reaction
"Pepper mentioned someone matching that description, I thought she was hallucinating due to stress." (Tony)
"He's real alright." (Fury)
"Damn." said Tony clicking his tongue.
"Do you know how he took out the Arc Reactors?"
Fury asked
"Pepper said he used a tube-like drill or something." (Tony)
"Give an example." (Fury)
"Think of a bazooka tube with a drill on one end or something like that." (Tony)
'He's an ex-arms dealer alright.'
Thought Fury hearing Tony's example
"Tell me if you know anything else." (Fury)
"She mentioned he was extremely polite as he greeted her when he arrived and said goodbye when leaving. By the way, how many did he steal?"
Said Tony as he got up and started to make his way to the exit.
"Eight."
answered Fury sternly.
"Damn!! Seriously!? That's more than I have in my stash right now!"
Tony muttered as he quickened his steps as if in a hurry after hearing Fury's answer.

Stark received the file handed to him by Nick Fury that contained Natasha Romanoff's assessment of him to read.
From which he agreed on the evaluation that stated 'TEXTBOOK NARCISSISM'.
Recruitment assessment
IRON MAN - YES
TONY STARK - Not Recommended.
Which after a small discussion resulted in Tony Stark being recruited as a consultant for the 'AVENGERS' Initiative.

As Son of Cole a.k.a. Coulson and Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye were busy in their new temporary base in New Mexico which was built around the unmovable Hammer that fell from the sky.
Which, according to their new mentally unstable hulking friend who invaded their facility yesterday evening calling himself Thor Odinson and was released earlier today after captivity was called..
MJÖLNIR
..The hammer of the thunder god Thor, son of Odin, from Norse mythology.
While they were making slight headway in their discovery, Coulson received a report about a similar atmospheric disturbance which was observed when the Hammer dropped from the sky over the town of Puente Antiguo.
Coulson assigned Hawkeye to look after the base they quickly got in the car to get to the location.
That was the day when the presence of Asgard was first made known to governments of the countries of Earth or Midgard.
As the battle between a weapon of Gods and the God of thunder laid waste to a small town causing extensive property damage.
How a weapon that took out an entire convoy of their armed and trained agents like they were a bunch of toys...
...was defeated by a man wearing a red cape and wielding a hammer that nobody else could lift up.
The battle that took place in the presence of many eyewitnesses left the Agents of SHIELD severy outmatched and outcalssed.
After the battle the said God of Thunder and his band of brigands disappeared in a rainbow light pillar that appeared from the sky...
...leaving behind the wreckage of a town, multiple casualties among SHIELD Agents and the wreckage of the weapon that caused those casualties.
The Battle took place at 03:45 PM, JUNE 2nd, 2010. Leaving Coulson questioning the Earth's capability to defend itself against extraterrestrial threats.
As he thought back to the reports he read about the Mutants named Max Eisenhardt who now calls himself Erik Lehnsherr a.k.a Magneto and Charles Xavier a.k.a. Professor X...
...the two most powerful mutants on Earth and wondered how their capacity could match against the likes of Thor and Odin who was known as All-father.
Snapping out of his thoughts and musings Coulson focused on writing his report to Nick Fury in which he mentioned the secured wreckage of the alien weapon known as 'The Destroyer' and mentioned that they should focus on reverse engineering and utilising the said technology.
After addressing all the matters of the temporary base and preparing for the departure of all stationed personnel a bandaged Coulson got in the car with others and prepared to leave.

SHIELD Headquarters

Natasha Romanoff returned to the Headquarters on Fury's orders with the data retrieved at Hammer Industries Headquarters, realizing that something was wrong with Fury.
As soon as she walked in Fury said
"You have a new assignment Agent Romanoff."
"What about the data from Hammer Industries?"
Natsaha questioned at the abrupt change of plans.
"You can leave that to someone else." (Fury)
"Yes sir, what is it?"(Natasha)
"We have received intel that Dr. Bruce Banner has been sighted at Culver University and General Thaddeus Ross is planning a move on Banner." (Fury! Fury the Slave Driver!!)
"What do I need to do? And wasn't Sitwell on this mission?"
Natasha furrowwed her brows and asked.
"Sitwell is in New Mexico with Coulson as we have a sighting of an Alien object there."
Fury said agitated.
"So you need to go and monitor the situation and try to keep things under control."
He added.
"I'll see what I can do."
Natasha said as she walked away after receiving her new assignment.
Fury looked at the drive left behind by her containing the files pertaining to Hammer Industries, deciding to leave it for later.
That evening Fury received a call from Phil Coulson, who informed him of the attack made by an Asgardian armor known as the Destroyer.
After watching all the footage of the fight that could be recovered Fury sat in the silence of his office as he took out a device that looked like a pager from his pocket and stared at it before deciding to put it away a few moments later.
Fury also received a report from Natasha Romanoff about General Thaddeus Ross's failure to capture Bruce Banner and his plans to enhance Emil Blonsky with the retrieved blood of Dr. Bruce Banner.
Later that night, Fury, having been fully briefed on the events in Puente Antiguo, received a call from the search team, searching for Captain America...
...stating that they have retrieved what they believe is a piece of wreckage from the airship that Captain America was on from a floating piece of glacier which has significantly narrowed down their search range.
Nick Fury, called the World Security Council regarding the new threats the world was facing, in order to discuss a petition about S.H.I.E.L.D.'s new budgetary allocations, but he was turned down.
As he thought about the threats looming over the world both from the surface and beyond the skies he looked back at the file placed on his desk that was titled..
... The 'AVENGERS' Initiative.
