V3 Chapter 13 - The Tiger's Teachings (Final)

RYAN POV

As the greater part of the energy that flowed through the meridian broke free, I felt the very existence of it crumble, it seemed the very concept of it was removed from my body and mind.

The feeling of that moment was hard to describe, it was like an unprecedented sense of freedom, like I was released from some kind of shackles making me feel nothing was impossible.

Though the feeling faded away after a moment, even now I felt my body much less constricted and in a more relaxed state.

But this relaxation did not reduce my strength but it was like I was given a greater amount of energy to utilize, it only reduced my strain and increased my ability to utilize my body more efficiently.

As I felt the lightning flow through my body, I opened my eyes and saw small, silverish almost transparent sparks appear all over my body until they slowly reduced.

After 10 minutes the lightning inside me calmed down and I slowly guided it until it completely calmed down and all the sparks disappeared, when I moved my chi the sparks started appearing again and stopped when I let it rest and I opened my eyes.

Third Person POV

"Good, you did it! So, can you feel the difference now?" asked Baghraj(Lord Tiger) as Ryan opened his eyes.

"Thank you, and yes, I can feel it, like an unprecedented sense of freedom, like some shackles that bound me disappeared." said Ryan as he looked up at him.

"It seems like everything, every action became easier." he continued as he clenched and unclenched his fists.

"Good that you understand." Said the Tiger nodding his head appreciatively while he inwardly praised the boy's talent for accoplishing the feat within 4 hours.

"But why is it so?" asked Ryan as he examined the situation of his body.

"I felt my body and there was no significant enhancement in any aspect, only a very minor amount, then why is the difference so vast."(Ryan)

The Tiger thought for a moment and said

"Hmm, how do I explain it, think of it like this, you are a fighter but whenever you punch there is some shackle on your body that stops your punch from reaching the greatest extension."(Lord Tiger)

"It is like something in your body makes your punch reach 1 cm less than you are capable of, the full extension of your arm, it doesn't affect your strength much as you have trained and are used to it."

"As you lived your whole life with that restriction, you didn't realize your maximum reach ever but now that restriction is removed and not just from your fists and arms, but legs and all the other parts of the body as well."

"So while your capacity didn't increase much, you will be able to perform much better without that restriction."

"Now, you are finally able to stretch your hands and feet and not feel any hindrance, it makes your movements much smoother."(Lord Tiger)

"I see, that is why it feels so unrestricted." said Ryan as he finally understood the problem, now that he thought about it deeply he finally realized why he never completed the 18th cycle of his morning exercise always falling slightly short of achieving peak human physique.

"Then what about others who use this method?" Ryan asked when he thought about the requirement old man Lei Kung said he would need to meet to challenge him.

'If this method stopped me from reaching peak human, then why is that old man so strong!?!?!?'

"They can use it without any problem, it only hinders those with lightning and wind affinity as they are elements that were not meant to be restricted." answered Baghraj the Tiger.

'Shit! I was harmed by that old man, if I didn't find out now I would be suffering my whole life because of him.'

"I get it, by the way, how do I know my progress now, I mean before I had the meridians as a sort of measurement, which you said was the level of control over energy."(Ryan)

"The lightning will continue to increase until it saturates your body and the fewer sparks you cause when using all of it, the better your control as sparks are caused by some of the uncontrolled lightning." explained the Tiger patiently.

"I thank you for your guidance."

Ryan said as he put his palms together and bowed his head sincerely in respect.

Taken aback by his action the Tiger gave him an intrigued look and as if deciding something he asked me

"What is your name boy?"

Ryan thought about the origins of his as mentioned by the Tiger and decided to give him his family name

Ryan POV

"Rudra." I told him the name my Grandma gave me.

"Oh? You bear the name of the storm, but where is your wind?"

He asked with a surprised tone as he looked at me closely and put his paw on my head for a moment and before I could say something, he took it back. 

"I see, it is not time yet, very well." he then muttered as if he realized something.

'What is he on about?'

"Boy, if someday the natural colour of your lightning changes to something else than white, come to see me, I will guide you one more time out of respect for the blessed name you bear." He said as he folded his arms and lay down.

'Whatever it was, looks like it's good for me.'

"Then I thank you in advance."(Ryan)

"Hoh, confident, are we?"(Lord Tiger)

  "Of course."(Ryan)

"But how will I find you?" I asked.

"Go to any of my company and ask the General Manager to call the Biggest Boss and if they cannot reach me come here and I will sense you and find you."(Lord Tiger)

"Wait, if you could sense me, then why didn't you stop me when I was passing by here before?" I asked when I realized the implications of what he said.

"I was resting and didn't want to move in blowing winds, it messes up my fur."(Lord Tiger)

'I just lost all the respect I had for you.'

"Yeah, whatever."(Ryan)

"Then it is time for you to go, as someone is waiting for you to answer their questions." He said as he closed his eyes gesturing towards my back.

I turned around and saw Danny's mother, Heather Rand, looking at both of us from a distance.
