Despite his exhaustion and the agonizing pain coursing through his body, Adam refused to surrender to defeat. With sheer determination, he dodged the creature's relentless attacks, his mind racing to find a way to turn the tide of battle. Each blow he endured only fueled his resolve, pushing him to keep fighting despite the overwhelming odds stacked against him.
As the battle raged on, Adam's injuries mounted, each one a testament to his resilience and sheer willpower. He fought through the searing pain of burns, the throbbing ache of broken bones, and the disorienting haze of a concussion, never wavering in his determination to emerge victorious.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of relentless combat, Adam found his opening. With a burst of adrenaline-fueled strength, he struck back with everything he had, unleashing a barrage of spells and strikes that brought the creature to its knees over the course of minutes, not a single second was wasted, as he fired everything he had, like his live depended on it, and it did. With one final effort, Adam summoned all his remaining will before beheading the creature with a swing from his mana sword using a wound that he had created by repeatedly striking the same wound over and over again.
As the dust settled and the world began to return to normal, Adam collapsed against a nearby building, his body spent and his spiritual force drained. Despite the pain and exhaustion that threatened to consume him, he couldn't help but marvel at the sight of the world magically rebuilding itself around him. "god i wish i could rebuild myself like that" he said with an exhausted voice.
But Adam had little time to dwell on the spectacle before him. The pain of his injuries was relentless, each movement sending waves of agony through his battered body. With grim determination, he focused on casting healing spells, his hands trembling with fatigue as he struggled to stay conscious.
"I really need to make better protective spells," he muttered through gritted teeth, his voice strained with pain. Despite his exhaustion, Adam couldn't shake the feeling of frustration that gnawed at him. It seemed that no matter how hard he fought, the challenges he faced only grew more daunting with each passing day.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sight of a raccoon darting past his alleyway, before it returned, its eyes then fixed on him with a curious gaze as it rubbed its human-like hands together, as if mocking him, for his weakness, for his lack of spell, for his helpless. In that moment, Adam couldn't help but feel a surge of annoyance towards the creature, as if it were mocking him for his plight.
"Fuck off, you trash panda," Adam growled, his words tinged with frustration as the raccoon paused, as if considering his words, it showed its white teeth, laughing, before darting off into the shadows. With a weary sigh, Adam pushed himself to his feet, ignoring the stares of passersby as he made his way home.
Back in the boat home, Adam was looking at his body, which was bare, the new and old scars both fighting for space and the healing wounds were not that far away from becoming a scar, but he was currently looking at his muscles, to be specific. "Well, maybe if I wasn't too skinny I wouldn't have had my hand broken and a bunch of ribs, although I doubt that would do too much against a 30 feet tall monster," he sighed, then looked out into the sea, lost in thought.
The gentle lapping of the waves against the hull of his boat filled the air, adding a soothing rhythm to the moment. Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting warm, golden rays across the cabin, creating a peaceful ambiance that contrasted with Adam's troubled thoughts.
"I have been learning math, architecture, engineering, mechanics, puzzle-making, programming, on top of progressing, it's just too much on my plate," he sighed again, feeling the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him. Adjusting his schedule, he made the difficult decision to set aside certain projects for the time being, prioritizing his goals.
Shelving the engineering and programming books, he rationalized his decision, considering the practicality of each subject and his current needs. Engineering, while valuable, seemed less relevant compared to his other pursuits, and programming, though intriguing, could wait until he had more resources at his disposal.
Glancing at his spiritual meter, he noted that he was just a few decimal points away from reaching 12 points again, which would grant him another spell slot. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, momentarily lifting his spirits.
"But I still can't believe that the number of spiritual force I have dictates how many spells I could possess, which wasn't a rule before," he muttered, frustration evident in his voice. The realization added another layer of complexity to his already challenging journey, forcing him to adapt and strategize in new ways.
As Adam committed to his new routine focused on building muscles, he meticulously crafted a structured plan designed to optimize his physical development. Balancing this regimen with his already busy schedule proved to be a formidable challenge, but Adam resolved to do his best. Each day began with a gentle workout in the morning light, casting mana strings for an hour to kickstart his day. After a brief respite for breakfast, he made his way to the park for a session of meditation, clearing his mind before returning home for lunch and continuing his studies.
With his priorities in mind, Adam delved into his studies, diligently casting his target spells to enhance his magical abilities. As the day progressed and his belly full, he transitioned to a series of rigorous exercises, including push-ups, sit-ups, and presses, pushing his body to its limits until the sun began to dip below the horizon. With aching muscles and a sense of accomplishment, he took a moment to rest before concluding the day with a final meditation session.
Yet, what Adam overlooked in his meticulously planned routine was the reality of his extraordinary circumstances. As night fell on his first day carrying out his plan,. Exhausted from his physical exertions, Adam sought solace in meditation, his muscles twitching from the strain of the day's exercises. A soft green glow enveloped his body as he cast a healing lotus spell, hoping to hasten his recovery and accelerate the growth of his muscles.

A/N: I changed my mind; my favorite animal and spirit animal is a raccoon.
P.S.: This is me realizing that I forgot about my spell slots, and that every spiritual force was supposed to indicate its spiritual force.
P.S.: I just reached Chapter 1019 of Reverend Insanity, and holy mother of plot twist! I can only dream of gaining such capabilities. Maybe I'm set on the dream path.
