New strange land and DINOSOURS!!!!(chapter 17)

Staring into the abyss that appeared behind Oliver, Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch, redirected her attention to Oliver's clenched fist. She sensed that the cause of this portal was the mysterious object in his hand. "Let go!" she yelled urgently. Oliver, matching her intensity, replied, "I can't. Do something!" He summoned his symbiote suit, attempting to pry his hands open, but it proved futile. "I am trying. Try to cut off your own magical energy; it's supplying it," Wanda instructed, frustration evident in her voice. Oliver shot her a look as if asking if she though he was stupid. "You think I haven't tried? It's forcefully sucking it!" he shouted, the cracking of reality completing its chaotic symphony.

The forceful finish of the crack propelled Oliver backward with such suddenness that he had no time to react. Wanda, quick on her feet, sent a bead of solidified chaos energy toward him, shouting, "Hold on to that; I will find you!" But Oliver could only catch the instruction before being engulfed by the portal, the shards of reality melting back into the fabric of existence. As the remnants of the spectacle faded, orange sparks materialized, and two more figures appeared.

One was Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme, and the other, a white-haired woman in a purple dress—Clea Strange. Clea inquired, "Did you open a portal through time and space?" Wanda sighed, "I am not that reckless. It was a kid, with a powerful artifact. I'm not sure he knew it himself." She continued her efforts to locate the bead she sent with Oliver. Doctor Strange pondered the situation, questioning, "What is a powerful artifact like that doing in a museum? And why didn't we sense it before?" Clea overheard his musings and, piecing together something, asked, "I think It was dormant, reacquiring magical energy or another source of energy to activate? Was the kid your student?" Wanda shook her head, "No, I arrived just a couple of seconds earlier because I had business nearby." They stared at the spot where Oliver had disappeared before sighing in unison.

-Scene Change-

In an ancient forest echoing with mighty roars, within a sizable crater, lay a human figure dressed in tattered clothing. Oliver's face, now exposed, slowly regained consciousness. "Fuck," was his initial exclamation as he took stock of his body's sensations. His first awareness was of the watch's texture against his skin. "This... is... bad," he grunted, gradually regaining feeling throughout his body. The watch, a tangible reminder of the ordeal, rested on his hand, while his floating screen hovered above him. The air in the dense, ancient forest carried an eerie ambiance, punctuated by the distant roars and rustling leaves, adding to the surreal atmosphere of Oliver's unexpected arrival.

Which he then threw away, muttering, "Fuck that," he groaned as he sat up. Surveying his surroundings, he noticed a crate almost immediately, still emitting smoke for some inexplicable reason. "Where the hell am I?" he pondered aloud, squinting at the densely wooded area that was barely visible. Attempting to move, his hand brushed against something wet, and he felt a burning sensation. "What the..." Glancing at his hand, he discovered blood staining his palm, which inexplicably felt like it was burning him.

Quickly wiping the blood away, he looked down to find a pool of blood evaporating by the second. "What the hell, a blood that bur-" He didn't finish his words as excitement replaced confusion. "My options sense is tingling." Forgetting his bewilderment, he completely forget what just happened almost immediately, he focused on his options sense—a peculiar feeling that surged when he encountered a special item, like the blue hermit crab shell that had captivated him.

Thinking of the hermit shell, he checked for it and found it thankfully still on his person. Entering his home, he swiftly located a cooking pot and hurried back to the vanishing pool of blood. Acting on instinct, he scooped up what he could, but as soon as he had a grasp, the blood disappeared, devoured by the ground.

Surveying the meager amount he managed to collect, he sighed. Turning his attention to the pocket watch responsible for transporting him, he noted his mana had recovered. After spending it on his custom option, which somehow still functioned, he picked up the pocket watch. "There's no mana for you to devour, huh?" he chuckled, then entered his shell home.

Placing the watch in a clear plastic box, he searched for a container—a metal cub for keeping drinks cool. "I don't know what kind of blood this is, but a single option granting should do the trick," he smiled. After sealing the cub, he placed it on the plant table, then took a seat on the bed, catching his breath as he reflected on recent events.

"Okay, so I break into a museum, nab a couple of items, trick a guard with an illusion, take my leave. One of the items turns out to be magical and sucks my mana, creating a portal to who knows where. Scarlet Witch tries to help, but we fail, and then I'm sucked in." Recounting the sequence of events, he breathed heavily, remembering Scarlet Witch's parting words. "Right, she said, 'Hold on' and something else." Checking himself, he found nothing but a small red orb tattoo on his forearm.

"Huh, did the orb just become a tattoo?" he wondered before sighing. "What the hell did I get myself into? What the hell did I steal?" Questions lingered in his mind as he stared at the watch. After a few seconds of contemplation, he shrugged, thinking, "Well, there's no use in asking questions. I can just give it an option and get a detailed description of what brought me here." He then scrutinized his body, especially the 8% durability left on his suit. "Well, this sucks," he mumbled, changing into a new set of clothes. Scanning the surroundings for a weapon, he remembered, "Right, I have a damn symbiote suit," and shrugged before exiting the shell, reappearing at the crater's edge.

Looking around, he saw nothing but the occasional roars echoing through the dense forest. Tensing up, he climbed out of the crater, but just as he was about to pull himself over the edge, a small prehistoric creature stared him in the face. "A fucking dinosaur!" he exclaimed. The atmosphere in the crater was filled with echoes of roars and rustling leaves, adding to the surreal atmosphere of Oliver's sudden journey to an unfamiliar and ancient land.
