Chapter XXXXII: Bye Bye You Two (2)

It didn't take long for us to make it to a large building with many glass panes. Along the way I noticed how technological the country was.

Even though they have so many advancements, they wouldn't be totally screwed if it were to all disappear. Their military forces at the moment don't carry more fire power than any other country, but they were more competent and experienced.

That would give them an edge over a big majority of American soldiers.

We walked inside and stepped inside an elevator. Not much needed to be said on this small trip. It was obvious to see they weren't that fond of me right now.

That doesn't exactly matter. I don't need to know them and I never will. I have enough friends… friend..

'Do I only have one friend?' I contemplated about this dilemma.

'My only friend is Stu, but even then, he's me with a different face. So do I have any actual friends I can trust with secrets?'

Anna doesn't count, she's my wife. She knows just about everything. Except where I actually come from. At this point, it's be useless to tell anyone about my universe even if I wanted to.

Putting these dilemmas aside, I finally stood in a room that definitely resembled a meeting room. It was missing a big table, but the people and the chairs were there.

I was unfamiliar with everyone in that room, except for the person who was sitting down in middle seat of the Citadel.

I didn't "know" him, per say, but I've seen him, on television in my past life. This man was obviously King T'Chaka.

The current year is 1943 and this man dies in 2016. He currently appears to be in his twenties. Which makes me beg the question, how fucking old is he?

Let's assume he is 20 years old right now, that means he was born in 1923, if he was born in 1923, by the time of his death, he would've been 93 years old.

Well, that doesn't seem too out of reach. I've gotta say, in the movies, he looked good for a 93 year old.

"Njinga, who is this outsider you've brought to us?" T'Chaka spoke up. He had the voice of a leader, something I haven't heard from any of these generals or Presidents. Except Lincoln and George.

I wonder how long it will take people to connect my face to the face they've been seeing in history books.

Da'Vinci literally painted my fucking face. That painting is in a museum right next to the Mona Lisa. My face is worth millions.

It's like that argument about how people can't tell the difference between Clark Kent and Superman. It doesn't make sense.

"We caught this outsider, outside our barriers with this panther." T'Chaka ignored me for a second and directed his attention to the panther.

He easily noticed the small intricate details on Bashenga. Golden eyes, unusual size, and his aura. His aura was one of pride, worth, and power. Just like Bast.

T'Chaka's eyes left the panther and into mine.

"Njinga, you may go." Njinga and her troop bowed to him and exited the room without another word.

"I see you pose no threat, but I still see you as one. So I ask, why do I sense the Black Panther in you? Who are you?" The other people in the room who couldn't sense that power were shocked.

It was impossible for anyone outside of this country to become a Black Panther, so for an outsider to show up randomly one day with it, must've been insane to hear. Unbelievable if you will.

I looked around the room and looked towards the two walls next to me. On the left wall, were a bunch of high res images of the past Kings and Queens of Wakanda.

On the right wall however, there were only three images that were hand drawn, very well if I say so myself.

I never met one of them, but I knew who they were. The first image was Bast, the second was Bashenga, the "first" Black Panther and first King of Wakanda.

(The panther Billy has is named after the first king of Wakanda, not to cause confusion. In the MCU, Bashenga is a human who was led to a mutated plant by Bast and became the first black panther, and then the king of Wakanda.)

The third one, was a white man. A white man with pale blue eyes and black hair. The man was dressed in a black turtleneck, black wrangler jeans, and black timberland boots.

I remember this man like it was yesterday, except it wasn't. It was millions of years ago. I'm still sad about my golden watch, I'm buying another one before I go back to the military.

Anyways, yes, this was me. In my young glory. I looked back at T'Chaka a motioned my head to the right wall. He turned to his left and looked at the three images.

He looked at the last one and back to me over and over again.

"I have the Black Panther because it was gifted to me by Panther Goddess Bast. Who am I? You know me T'Chaka. Say my name."

"Billy Loomis." If the people in the room weren't shocked enough, this definitely blew their gourd out the water with this news.

"You're goddamn right."

(Couldn't help myself with the reference. It's probably cringe, but you'll get over it)

"You could just look like him, how do we know you're Billy Loomis?"

"Yes! Prove it." Everyone in the room couldn't believe their ears. This white man who has the Black Panther, is in their country claiming to be their panther king Billy Loomis, and he brings a panther who was supposedly made by their Goddess.

I thought back to my old days to think about what I could do to prove I'm Billy Loomis. They have a drawn image of me, they're bound to have some kind of book about me.

"Hold on." I disappeared from their sights and reappeared a few seconds later with a book. I speed read it and knew what to do to prove it.

I stood still for a few seconds before my body started to change. Fur started forming all over my body, my eyes turning into a blaring bright green.

My height getting a substantial boost as well as my weight. Claws extended from my hands and fangs protruded from my mouth. I had transformed into my Panther Form after a while, and I already noticed some changes about it.

Instead of my eyes being red like they were before, they were bright green. My fur felt stronger. My claws and fangs were sharper. I usually only feel more powerful in terms of physicality, but now I felt something else.

It felt like gamma radiation, which could be a result of the eye change.

From what I know, it seems like the readers don't like how there are too many forms-

From a short assimilation, I think my other forms could be getting affected by the gamma radiation, therefor turning them over.

I heard gasps all around and knew that I got my desired outcome. I turned back to normal and waited for them to settle down.

After a few seconds, they settled down and thought about what to say next. Eventually, T'Chaka spoke up.

"What brings you here, Billy Loomis?"

"Well, I came here to give you this panther that I've had for a while. He's better off here with you, than with me."

I crouched down to get to eye level with Bashenga.

"In a while bud." I scratched the top of his head and behind his ear. He licked my face a few times.

I wiped my face off and stood up.

"Well, I'll be off."

"Wait!" T'Chaka yelled out, just as I was about the run off. He opened a conveniently placed compartment on the side of his chair. He pulled a silver ring out of it.

He threw the ring at me. I looked at the ring and it's intricate designs, wondering what it was for.

"That's a royal ring. It's made of silver, lacquer, and vibranium."

I put it on my finger and nodded at the king. I turned around and ran back to the Americas, not looking back.
