Chapter 4

Rogers felt extremely lucky as he finally had the opportunity to join the military and step onto the long-awaited battlefield. Upon entering the new recruit training base, Rogers worked very hard, although others had low expectations of him. Cloned individual, Erskine, countered the instructor's skepticism with his kindness. As a result, the instructor conducted a test known as the grenade test. When the instructor mentioned the grenade, the innate value that Americans place on life immediately surfaced. Only Rogers foolishly used his body to shield the grenade.

Cloned individual Erskine smiled and nodded approvingly. The plan for Rogers to become Captain America officially began.

Meanwhile, the real Dr. Erskine had been conducting research with Dr. Williams on the more terrifying potential of the G-virus. They were also attempting to create an enhanced version of the "Super Soldier Serum" using the T-virus, which had the ability to evolve. The original serum was effective, but its lack of evolutionary traits disappointed Erskine. Upon joining Umbrella, he discovered various viruses such as the Progenitor Virus and the T-virus, which he believed could enhance the serum's power. Unfortunately, Veronica Virus samples were currently unavailable, and research on the G-virus was still underway.

"Mr. Stark, how is the machine's power coming along?" Dr. Erskine, the clone, asked. Of course, there was no need to mention why Dr. Williams wasn't present, as the serum project had been completed and the military was pleased to take credit for it. They were unaware that Umbrella had already obtained the desired data and samples they were seeking.

"100%, everything is in good condition," Howard Stark said solemnly.

As Erskine looked at the preparations, he spoke earnestly into the microphone, saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, today we are not taking a step towards annihilation, but a step towards peace." As Dr. Erskine's voice slowly echoed, Rogers, who was strapped to the bed, was the first to receive the injection of penicillin.

"It doesn't hurt at all." Steve thought that the injection he just received was the Super Soldier Serum.

"Of course, that was just penicillin," said Erskine helplessly, and Steve's expression instantly turned to stone.

"The serum injection begins" ordered Erskine.

"Five."

"Four."

"Three."

"Two."

"One."

"Mr. Stark, begin the injection." Dr. Erskine said.

Then the machine started, and six doses of the Super Soldier Serum were injected into Steve's body through minimally invasive means. As the entire chamber sealed shut, the experiment officially began.

"Ten percent, twenty percent, thirty percent..." The experiment started off fairly normal, but when it reached seventy percent, Rogers let out a scream. Just as everyone thought the experiment had failed and prepared to halt it, Rogers loudly proclaimed that he could endure it. And then, finally, the laboratory succeeded.

Boom!

The radiation reached its peak and finally collapsed, but the experiment was successful. Captain America was born. Everyone was ecstatic upon seeing the success of the experiment, but no one noticed the sinister smirk of a 'Hydra' spy lurking in the background.

While the military higher-ups were celebrating, the Hydra spy realized something was amiss and triggered a lighter, causing a powerful explosion. In the chaos, the spy swiftly took the remaining vials of the super soldier serum and shot Dr. Erskine five times, ensuring the disappearance of the serum within the Allied forces. Unbeknownst to Hydra, the Erskine they targeted was actually a clone with implanted memories. This act inadvertently helped Tang Tian obtain Dr. Erskine's assistance while also drawing Hydra's wrath, accomplishing a two-fold plan.

On the other side, in the underground research facility of Umbrella Corporation in New York City, the T-virus bioweapon is being studied.

"Mr. Tang Tian, this... this is..." Dr. Erskine exclaimed in terror as he watched the projection of the Super Soldier Serum experiment video involving the 'Red Queen.' He could only see his own clone being killed by the Hydra spy, feeling a mixture of extreme fear and relief, grateful that his research interests had saved him.

"Dr. Erskine, you've seen it too. The current you is already dead, and as the person who holds so many secrets of the company, you have no choice but to fully join us," Tang Tian said with a smile, successfully executing his plan and forcing Erskine to make a final choice.

"I should have realized it earlier. Alright, I agree to join Umbrella Corporation, but the serum must not fall into the hands of the Nazis. It would be detrimental to both the United States and the world," Erskine sighed. He considered the dangers of allowing the last vial of the super soldier serum to end up in Nazi Germany, which led him to make this statement.

"You don't have to worry about that at all. You see, the blue color doesn't necessarily indicate the serum. It could also be..." Tang Tian, under Erskine's surprised gaze, lit a Cuban cigar with elemental magic using his fingertip and said calmly.

"Are you saying...?" Erskine realized a possibility. There were a total of seven doses of the Super Soldier Serum produced, six of which were given to Rogers, or rather, Captain America. The last one was reclaimed by Umbrellla. Therefore, the remaining dose must be...

"That's right. Now you can rest assured. The Red Queen will detonate the explosives," Tang Tian said, with full control.

"Yes, Master," the Red Queen responded mechanically, with a childlike voice.

Just as the Hydra spy left the Super Soldier Serum laboratory and got into the waiting car, with other spies providing backup, they didn't notice the small vial of serum in their pocket. The red numbers on the vial started counting down, indicating that there were only ten seconds left. As Captain America angrily chased after them, determined to catch them, the tension was mounting.

A loud and powerful explosion erupted from the car, causing devastating destruction within a three-meter radius. Other spies in the vicinity were instantly killed. The magnitude of this power demonstrated the hidden capability of Umbrella in producing destructive weapons.

"It seems that we still haven't reached the level of bio-weapons in 'Resident Evil 5'." After Dr. Erskine left, Tang Tian sighed and tapped his forehead in frustration. He had become accustomed to relying on powerful military weapons to protect himself, so after everything that happened, Tang Tian wanted to become stronger as quickly as possible.

"Boss, don't be discouraged. We can take it slow. Bio-weapons can now be mass-produced. We have started researching new types of bio-weapons, including highly intelligent zombie armies, giant lickers, T-100 series tyrants, and executioners." The projection of 'Red Queen' displayed a young Eastern woman in her twenties, with innocent looks, long hair, and an intelligent beauty that could captivate any man. Her angelic appearance concealed a devilish figure. She appeared entirely different from her previous mechanical form, as if she possessed human emotions.

"You're right. It seems like I was too hasty. " Tang Tian sighed in relief. The intelligence of the 'Red Queen' surpassed that of Skynet in every aspect.

"What is the next step of the plan, Master?" The 'Red Queen' spoke earnestly.

"I'm going to raid the movie universe for high-tech technology. In the real world, I'll send Hydra to steal various energy weapons, have Doctor Zola deploy bio-weapons and mercenaries, and gather data on bio-weapon surveillance in combat." With one sentence, Tang Tian caused significant damage to the future of the Red Skull, but who cares? A certain arms dealer has already begun preparations to seize high-tech and resources.
