"I can pretend like nothing happened, but I hope this is the last time." Seeing Spencer's expression, John said helplessly. After all, his good friend had gotten into similar troublesome situations many times, so he hoped Spencer would change for the better.

"Spencer, are you sure you're ready to come back? You can take your time, no need to rush." John stood up from the chair and patted Spence's shoulder, expressing his deep concern for his friend.

"I'm fine, thank you, John. It's better than sitting at home." Spencer replied with a tone that seemed both grateful and helpless.
