*Wake up*
My senses flared at exactly 12:00 am, waking me up instantly. I heard the fading footsteps of the security guard. I quickly yet quietly walked over to the corner of the room that was next to Wanda. I arranged the pillows to look like I was still laying down sleeping. I crouched down and quickly burned a "me" sized hole.
I crawled through and saw Wanda looking at me tiredly, but with a smile on her face. I gave a small smile back and a glance at her bed to make sure she did the same.
She made camouflaged us as I bent the bars and stepped through the cell. She stepped through and put it back in place.
Pietro was already standing at his door. Seeing us already out, he phased through the bars as Wanda made him invisible too.
'I've taught them well.' I couldn't help but take credit. I couldn't recall a time that Wanda nor Pietro used their powers like this.
'I did have to take some notes from the CW Flash, well, the flash in general I guess. A little plagiarism never hurt anyone..'
We ran into the next part of the base where Chris and Hisako slept. We had to get to Laura quickly before Strucker eventually catches wind of us not being here, and he definitely will.
Unfortunately for us, Pietro is known to snore, and the guards, after watching him for this long know this, so when they don't hear him snoring, they're gonna come in, and that's when we'll get discovered. Statistically, 4/10 people snore, so we Pietro got unlucky. He doesn't snore loud, but it's loud enough for the guards to notice.
We didn't have to worry to much, because the process for Hisako and Chris were much easier. As we ran towards the direction of Laura's cell, Chris discreetly took down the cameras that covered potential escape routes that we could leave from. Just as an extra precaution.
As soon as we entered the hallway for Laura, an alarm blared and red lights flashed along the walls. Footsteps sounded throughout the base as guards began running around looking for us.
Thankfully for us, we were too far ahead for them to know exactly where we were, but I'm certain they'll make their way down here. There's a lot of guards here at this base.

When the alarm blared I instantly knew what was going on.
'It seems they're actually doing it. Whether or not Azrael holds up his part of the deal is still unclear as of now.' I held my tongue when I noticed a large sized hole was being burned on the door in front of me.
When hole was full burnt, there stood Chris, Hisako, Wanda, Pietro, and Azrael at the forefront of this troop he's orchestrated.
'Wasn't Chris supposed to short circuit the door with his electrical powers? Why did Azrael burn a hole in the door if Chris was supposed to-'
"Azrael I was supposed to short circuit the door system so it would open by itself, so why'd you burn a hole in the door?" Azrael turned around sheepishly.
"I haven't used my powers much today and I felt a bit left out." I ignored their friendly banter at the moment and quickly slipped through the hole in the door.
"Alright Azrael, you're the mastermind, where do we go now?" I asked. Azrael regained his seriousness as he led us somewhere that we all found familiar.

Azrael had led us to the yard, probably has something to do with the infrastructure of the base.
Despite us calling it "the yard", it's not quite as outside as it sounds. There were tall barbed fences that spanned about 15 feet high. I had no idea what the fences were made out of, but Azrael was certain that he couldn't burn through it yet.
"Pietro, we have to go back real quick, I need a few things. If we don't come back in time or you encounter danger, Wanda use your telekinesis to bend through the metal so you all escape." Azrael hopped on my back so we could make faster progress.
We've already made a mass disturbance today so why not make another one.
"Where to?"
"I want you to take me to the archives room and then run through every single crevice of the base that Baron Strucker most commonly visits as fast as you can until we find the scepter, and then take us back here." I nodded, not seeing any issue.
'Strucker truly didn't think of us retaliating against him. Thankfully Azrael made us realize his evils and how to better utilize our powers for certain things, like teaching me how to phase.' Time slowed down in my eyes as I directly towards the archives room, a room that I had memorized since the first time I took Azrael there. Time returned to how it usually is as Azrael got off of my back and walked towards a few specific aisles, taking around 20 files, and stuffing them into a duffle bag that he stole and left there since the last visit.
He got back onto my back as time came to a slow once again. I ran through all the rooms that Strucker would potentially have his scepter.
I had no clue why Azrael wanted the scepter, it was more than likely that he actually wants the stone instead. I have no particular qualms about it.
After searching every room, I couldn't find it. Eventually, Azrael gave me a few pointers based on the energy signatures that he could sense. I finally found the scepter, the issue is that it was in Strucker's hands, and he appeared to be using it on his guards.
"How am I gonna get it?" I turned to Azrael for an answer as he looked at me with a deadpan expression.
"Pietro, you have super speed, just go grab it."
"Brother, you can't expect me to be able to out run a hail of bullets, I need your help." Azrael sighed and got off of my back.
"You run around the corner, grab Strucker, bring him over here and knock him out, while you do that, I'll provide cover from here with my fire." I nodded my head, more content with this plan.
I did what he said, and less than a second later, a wave of blue fire enveloped all of the soldiers, incinerating them on impact.
"Let's take a brotherly walk." As we walked, Azrael dragged Strucker's unconscious body with us while I held his duffle bag and scepter. We encountered many other soldiers who did have an opportunity to shoot, however all it took was a single blue wave of fire to take out their bullets, guns, and themselves.
We made it back outside to see everyone still there, but the bodies of multiple soldiers around them. Everyone's face lit up as they seen us return in one piece with everything I said I wanted.
"I thought I told you all to leave if you encounter danger?" Azrael's voice sounded out.
"Little brother, your expectations of us staying were ridiculous and you know it." Wanda replied with a smile. He smiled back and pointed at the gate behind Wanda.
She turned around and quickly got to work on bending the gate with her telekinesis. I took her around two minutes, and after we all walked through the fence, the base suddenly exploded, fire engulfing everything.
"What the hell! Why did it explode!?" Chris exclaimed. We all looked directly at Azrael for an explanation. He's studied this place top from bottom, he should know.
He scratched the back of his head, not knowing how to answer.
"Well that could be one of two things, or both. Definitely both. There was a coding in the system that made a five minute countdown to blow the whole base up if multiple dangerous experiments who had low possibilities of being recaptured were missing in a collaborative retaliation."
"Why didn't you tell us that!?"
"Ehh, I had confidence in my plan that's why."
