2 Miss Park

Son-join woke up tied to a chair. His hands were tied on his back while his feet were tied to the chair's legs. His lower and upper body were also tied to it. His mouth was shut with dark tape over it, the same dark tape used to tie him up.

He panicked and looked up. His cheeks were hurting like hell. The room was dark and he could not notice the person standing not that far away from him. He looked around as his eyes adjusted and noticed that the room he was in looked familiar. He could tell that it was his bedroom after noticing his bed and his school clothes that he had thrown on the floor when he got home.

The silhouette of a person approached him and because it was so dark, he could not make up the person's face or build. He started to struggle after seeing that he was carrying a pair of scissors.

"You know, the way you sleep, I could steal everything in your house and set the house on fire. I am sure you would die still asleep while the fire burnt you alive."

The man said as he approached him, snapping the pair of scissors. His voice was muffled because of the mask he was wearing.

'What? A thief? wait, my mother... what happened to her? Why did he not just take what he came for and left? Why did he tie me up?'

Son-join was panicking but he panicked more when he looked down. He saw that he was wearing nothing. He started to struggle even more after that.

"Do you know what the most important thing for a man is?"

The person said. Son-join struggled even more as the person snapped the pair of scissors again.

"Some would say power, others would say family, but I am sure we would both agree that it is his third leg."

When the person said that, the scissors he was carrying suddenly became the worst thing Son-join saw in his entire life. His eyes dilated and his mouth became dry. His third leg shrunk like a turtle retreating back into its shell. He did not struggle anymore as he was terrified to his wit's end.

That was one the man stepped back and switched on the light.

"Wahahahaha!"

It was Nolamine. After seeing Son-join's face, he laughed so hard that he could not breathe anymore.

"Are you boys ok in there? You should sleep, you have school tomorrow."

A female's voice came through the door.

"I am sorry, Mrs. Lee. We were just having some fun. We will go to sleep soon."

He replied after catching his breath. He looked over to Son-join and laughed again. He had fainted due to extreme relief. He opened his eyes again as Nolamine was taking the dark tape off of him.

"I curse you and all your decedents. You shall all have small penises for this."

Son-join said while scowling at him. He was dead serious with his curse too.

"What?... Anyways you are being discriminative. If you are going to curse the males in my bloodline, why not curse the females while you are at it?"

"Never!, With your genes, one of your decedents is sure to pop out Miss Universe. I cannot deny my grandchildren the chance to wow her away and defile your bloodline further."

Nolamine did not know what to do with him at that point. He had long given up on understanding his logic.

"Fuck man, that was uncalled for."

He said as he winced in pain. It hurt when the dark tape was being ripped from his skin.

"I told you that I will get you for hitting me."

"This was too much. I thought my mother was in danger."

"Shit, sorry about that. I can't imagine how that felt."

Nolamine said with a somber tone. It seemed they had touched on a touchy subject.

"Anyways, how the hell did you get in here without me noticing."

Son-join tried to lighten the mood and talk about something else.

"Well, you sleep like a dead man. It wasn't too hard. Your mother let me in after I told her about my neighbor."

"Hahaha, you staying alone most of the time in your flat is practically nightmare fuel for her. You better watch out, you might not return to your flat anytime soon. You know she prefers you staying here than at your flat alone."

At that point, Son-join was putting on his clothes.

"What about your neighbor? I thought no one lived there."

"It seems an old lady moved in during the day. Aww man she was creepy."

He told him everything that had happened as they prepared to go to bed.

"She kept on knocking at my door for almost an hour. To make things worse, she said nothing all that time. I just could not sleep there. I packed some of my things and jumped out the window."

"What? You jumped out of a second-story window?"

"Yeah."

"Huh... Well, you are athletic. After all, you have been training in all kinds of martial arts with that gym always closing and having another dojo open there many times. I would break a leg or something if I did that. Anyways, what do you think she wanted?"

"I do not know and I am not planning to find out. One thing I know though is that she is a witch."

They slept after talking for a bit and Son-join teasing Nolamine about what his decedents will do to his. Nolamine made it his life mission to write the perfect letter to warn them to avoid Son-join bloodline in the future after that conversation.

The next day they made it to school earlier than usual. Son-join could not sleep after what Nolamine had done to him, so he made sure to wake him up early. His mother was shocked to see him awake for school so early in the morning. She credited it to Nolamine and gave them extra cash for the day.

"Told you I was luck in itself."

"Man, you sucked all my luck away when we first met. Anything that has to do with luck that happens to you should be considered mine, you shameless thief."

They were back to talking about sweet nothing as they entered school.

"Awe, you two? Early? A storm must be on its way today. Damn it, I should have brought my umbrella."

One of their teachers said as they walked through the school hallway. He was visibly distressed that he had forgotten it.

The bell rang and they went to class.

"Hey guys, is everything ok?"

One of their classmates asked.

"Why would you ask that Sang-woo? Do we look not ok to you?"

"Well, you came in early today and you look like walking zombies."

The two sighed. They just shushed him away using their hands. A teacher came in and the class was about to begin until she looked at the back row desks.

"What? Wait... You two are early? What happened?"

The whole class turned around and looked at the two. They shook their heads embarrassed and the class laughed.

"Damn it. I should have brought my umbrella."

She said jokingly.

"Come on, you too must walk out and come in again like you always do."

She said as she pointed them to the door. They got up feeling embarrassed and knocked at the door.

"Come in."

The teacher said as some students giggled.

"Sorry, we are late, Miss Park. The bus took its time to get us here."

The class laughed.

"Well, take your seats boys. Seems like the bus takes its time when you two want it to take its time. Maybe now I won't get wet."

She said teasingly. It was her way of punishing them for almost always coming late to her morning classes. Nolamine slapped Son-join on the back of his head. It was his fault that they were always late. Waking him up was kin to trying to wake up a dead person.

"Now, with our resident trouble makers officially late for class, let's start."

The students giggled again. The two looked at her with dream-like eyes. She was everyone's favorite teacher. She was a young adult who looked to be reaching her 30s and had a motherly nature around her. She looked young and did not wear makeup. She was the rare type that had a natural beauty that triumphed against any beauty product. The boys would fight about who would marry her when they got older.

"Mythical creatures."

She said as she wrote on the chalkboard.
