Collecting so many spines in no time at all. He let his guard down and someone sneak on him without him knowing at all. Thinking he was invincible, the consequences? he was beheaded instantly. His head was cut off smoothly without even thrill and a retaliation from him.

Jiang Cheng's body drop to the ground after a few seconds of standing. Losing the life, the body fell to the ground with a thud, blood spurted on his severed neck from time to time.

Swift and precise. The assailant was revealed in the screen after he came out of his hiding spot. He held a bloody long sword in his right hand, the grade of the sword was just like Jiang Cheng's weapon but his realm is higher than him by a small margin but what he especialize is killing. Or to be precise, assassination.

He crouched down to pick up the spatial ring and knife out the spine of Jiang Cheng. He smiled in satisfaction and said loudly after confirming the number of spines he had, "Twenty-Three, Seventy-Seven to go."

Assassin's tend to face their opponent who are blind to their attacks. Making it effective in killing the targets, if it is a frontal fight, definitely, they will lose since an assasin focuses on single blow attacks and concealment.

He was hired by an elder, the elder who was pointed by Jiang Cheng at that time. No one said they can't interfere in the competition. He 'sponsored' a genius, giving him precious pills and a weapon as a payment.

And the elder also gave a tracking device for him to easily find the target. The elder marked Jiang Cheng with his battle Spirit.

Since Jiang Cheng don't have a battle Spirit, he didn't notice that he is marked by him and the elder exploited this weakness of him at all.

In the SunFire Sect, silence ensued. The number one disciple they had. And formerly who had the highest spines and kills in the mystic realm died in an instant.
