Chapter -0001.

"Wake up, child."

"Mother?" He heard a very warm and caring voice, almost felt like his mother.

"Yes, I am mother, Mother Earth."

"Earth? Planet earth?"

"Yes, child. I am Planet Earth."

"Am I dreaming? I was working on my game and was thinking of various game systems and lore for my game. Is this what my dream is telling me to work on?"

"No child, you died working. You have now been chosen as my saviour."

"I died? Oh…"

"I am sorry child, I was not much of a help for you."

"I have no complaints, I was not a child who needed his parents help."

"Good Child, will you help this mother?"

"Please tell me how I can help you?"

"My karmic luck is running out and I need more or else I will become infertile and barren like my brother Mars."

"Karmic Luck? You mean like in those cultivation novels?"

"Yes, correct."

"But, how?"

"I am going to send you to a world where you can cultivate karmic luck and then in due time you can come back to give me."

"Send me? In a cultivation world?" His eyes got wide with excitement but then he collected himself because he is not going on a tour but a very important life saving quest.

"Here is the Karmic Luck Cultivation of earth. Do you need anything else?"

"I don't know."

"Do you need any specific talent or ability? If it's within my power I will give it to you."

"Is it okay? Will it not make you weaker if you give me power?"

"Don't worry, I can handle it and if it's within my power it will make your task easier."

He gave a serious thought but was kind of wary towards Mother Earth love because she might hurt herself in fulfilling his wish.

"I don't want any, I am fine. I can take care of it."

"Dear child, I can sense your concern towards me, no need to worry, I will not harm myself, ask away."

He felt relieved so he shared his honest thoughts. "In my knowledge of cultivation novels, Cultivation is very hard and it might take a long time, if I can have more people with me so that we can all help together."

"I also wanted to do this but I can only send one soul."

He understood the problem and thought even deeper.

"How about I can share the Karmic Luck Cultivation with others and then take away their cultivation?"

"Only you can cultivate and also do not share this cultivation for your own protection because technically you are kind of stealing."

"Oh, hmm…if only I can clone myself…can I?"

"You want the power of cloning? It's easy and done. Whenever you want to create a clone just use the karmic luck you have accumulated. The clone will never betray you and will be consciously synced with you."

"Is it alright? I hope you didn't overdraw because of me?"

"No my filial child, I have only transmitted you an unconscious method and you only need to fuel it with karmic luck you will cultivate."

"I am relieved to hear."

"What else?"

"More?"

"Yes, you didn't ask for any active abilities."

"It's fine, cloning is enough…wait, how about knowledge?"

"Knowledge will not be useful because their laws of physics are different."

"What about weapons knowledge?"

"They have better and superior knowledge, our knowledge will only drag you slow."

"I am talking about Guns and explosives."

"Hmm…it will be useful in starting so…okay, Done. You haven't asked for anything active, just knowledge."

"how about a system like in those system novels to track my progress and it will make things easy with a quest system."

"Oh! Yes, that's better, even better if I give you an RPG system, how about that?"

"Yes! It's perfect! But…are you sure?"

"No worries, it's a simple automatic thing of absorbing soul and Qi into XP, it will speed up your quest too and better for me."

"Awesome!"

"Ready?"

"Yes, I am ready."

"One more thing, Cultivate hard and honestly. Here you go!"

He suddenly felt like riding a rollercoaster going crazy down as his vision turned dark.

—------------

He suddenly felt a breath of life in his lungs and woke up instantly. He opened his eyes and saw himself in a burned down room.

Smell of Ash and smoke filled his nostrils and the faint smell of burnt flesh. Suddenly his head ached hard, a stream of memories filled.

"I…I am…I am Jing Xuan? Illegitimate child of Xuan Clan's Patriarch's Zhi Xuan son Ming Xuan. Me and my mother Yun Fei came to Xuan Ling, a village mostly lived by retired maids and servants of Xuan Clan." He caresses his head to relieve the pain.

"How are you feeling?" He heard his own voice from his left side. He turned and got caught looking at his own self in black T-shirt and jeans. It was his clone with the same everything.

However, the bizarre coincidence was that his face was identical to real Jing Xuan. Looking at his clone also felt like he was looking at dead Jing Xuan.

"Everything is charred in here." The clone spoke. "What cruelty!"

"Yes, it seems Xuan Clan…my new family killed me, at least they waited for my mother's death a week ago." He sighed and looked at his own clone. "In the end Mother Earth did it?" The first thought came to his mind seeing his clone.

"Yes and more." Said a voice from his back and he saw at least 7 of his own self looking at him.

"Holy Shit! Why?" He stood up in shock and felt very guilty.

"It's not over." He saw more come out from other burned down rooms.

"How many are we?" He said in panic.

"You are the Prime, use your prime authority." Said the one with him.

He focused and got his answer immediately.

After a little commotion later 30 clones in T-shirts and jeans were surrounding him.

"There is no point in worrying, we just need to earn Karmic Luck fast and pay back." Said the one near him.

"Agreed." Everyone chimed.

He sighed and also nodded in agreement.

"Do we have to live here?" Asked one of them, looking at everything ash and smokey. Everyone looked at Jing.

He gave a thought and replied. "Yes, I received a letter two days ago about returning to Clan. Someone will come tonight or tomorrow morning to pick me up. Although I will be walking into danger, the lion's den, it will also be full of information and resources which we need to quickly finish our job."

Everyone nodded.

"Then let's get ready." He walked out from the smoke and Ash to a more clear area.

"Yes! I am dying to know our RPG system." Said one from the back. "YAY!" Everybody cheered.

"SHHHH!" He hastily shushed them.

"Are you guys an idiot? How do you think anyone will react when they see us?" He scolded them.

Everyone got silent.

"System?" He asked.

[Welcome Host, I am the Slave management RPG System.]

"Slave? Okay...Please explain the basics to us."

"Oh! Look how I look?" Said one of the clones puffing his chest up showing a ninja style tight outfit.

"Oh wow! Let me try it too." Said many of them and suddenly almost 20 of them turned into ninjas.

"STOP!" He whispered loudly. Everyone stopped. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING?"

"Why would you choose your class without considering the team balance?" He wanted to scold more but he suppressed his anger.

"Do not take important decisions without even discussing before, okay?" He felt sad seeing their joyful face turned into a sad face and guilt.

"Continue System."

[Your first clones were free and next clones will cost 100 Karmic Luck.]

"Okay…"

[Your clones are extensions of your mind but this time they are given their own set of eyes and other senses and most crucial is consciousness Focus. Means, you can focus on one thing only at a time like currency and single transaction at a time. But now your clones have their own currency and they are free to do anything as long as you draw a boundary.]

"So they are like children given pocket money."

[Correct. However, that's the only separate thing and the rest are all one. For example, your health is one.]

"Health is one? Meaning?"

[You all share one Hit-Points bar. Meaning, if one of them gets hit, you all share the damage. But if any of them gets healed then all share the healing, same goes for every buff and debuff equally distributed among all of you. Same goes for hunger, thirst, hot, cold and every other senses and needs.]

"You mean if one of us poop means we all pooped?" Asked one of them childishly. Many rolled their eyes.

[Yes, if you pooped the others don't need to but you will have to poop for all 30 of them to feel properly relieved, same goes for piss and sleep. Also food and water.]

"You mean we have libido of 30 people?" Asked another one, smirking. Others chuckled and snickered.

[Yes, so make sure you don't start something you can't finish…if you know what I mean.]

"What do you mean?" Asked another one.

"It means nothing now." He took back the lead in conversation.

"System, when you mentioned we all share one Hit-Points bar meaning none of us can die unless we all reach zero HP but when we do, we all will die together, correct?"

[Yes, if you have 30 HP and one of you gets the damage of 10 then it will be distributed to you all and on the HP bar it will show 10 less from your 30 HP bar. Got it?]

"Now do you see? You all chose hunter class without even giving a thought of how it will help us survive in this unknown world. We could have chosen tanks and healers for better survival build." He let out his earlier suppressed anger.

"Now do not choose anything until I have gone through every detail, Okay?" He said calmly, seeing their guilty faces.

"I already did it." Said one in the back sitting like a maths nerd.

"Me too." Said another one enthusiastically like he is competing with the Math nerd.

[Reminder: you are prime as mentioned by one of you to him which means you have access to their everything, total control. Which means if any of you read something then prime can access it and share among others. However, RPG system skills are not shareable unless you learn something equivalent on its own.]

"This is good." He liked the part of knowledge sharing and others nodded too.

"You and you, come forward." He pointed at the Math nerd and the other one who competed with the Math nerd.

"We now have 20 hunters, what do you think our team composition should be for optimal survivability." He asked like an Elder.

Rewritting with new plot. Thanks for the Patience!
