Zodi: The Soul Points
In his past life, he thought about this while training.
He was having a lot of problems in the technique which he was following because of which he was forced to think of new technique.
Observation was an innate talent of his and he was gifted with a photographic memory because of which he had absolutely no problem in remembering the techniques.
But the problem was that he never practiced any since his vision always used to detect faults in techniques.
He could easily say about the wrongs that was made in the Techniques but unfortunately he never revealed this talent of his to anyone.
He kept it to himself and slowly developed him. He understood many mistakes and the ways to correct them but even after doing that he could never practise them due to the trashy Cultivation which he had picked.
To be correct it was not him who had picked it, it was his assigned teacher who picked it.
The teacher who was to teach him just slacked off and on seeing that Ryuu was from a beggar background, he gave a useless technique.
Ryuu was too young that time and was eager to become martial artist. That was why he didn't question the teacher and just followed it and cultivated it.
But even with such a trashy technique, he achieved great heights. It was probably his talent and hardwork which the teacher had neglected.
But Ryuu soon realised that there was a limit to the technique that he was given because of which he wasn't able to progress anymore.
It was only then that he realised his another talent of forseeing errors and the right ways to do it.
But it was irreversible now, and he had abolutelh no way to undo it, but he thought about the next generation and started to build the ultimate martial arts after hearing about Hedan Flames.
Everyday he used to listen that name since many of them used to chat about it.
After that he literally built an amazing martial art but that was kept secret because immediately after that he died when the Devas hunted him.
Now that he had travelled back to past, he has an opportunity to use that technique but when he saw that he had the knowledge of the Hedan Flames technique, he thought about adding that too.
He added all the good parts and string parts of all the techniques and removed instabilities.
"Not yet...", all the parts was being composed in the form of 3D knowledge inside his brain.
It was a form a image training or something similar.
Ryuu focused his entire concentration and slowly started forming the Hedan Flame Arts as the main base.
"Yes... the Qi revolution to the left... this to the right and this...", he was mumbling something while arranging the knowledge and set up.
"Huff huff..., that was a lot of work.", soon after 3 hours, the ultimate technique which he believed was done.
"That was a so tough... it's good that I had made it in my last life or else it would have taken another 5 years for me to create this.", he wondered.
He then thought about starting the Cultivation right away, but noticed that it was too sunny right now.
Even the clouds were missing and the rainy atmosphere had totally vanished.
"Uhh... I wanted to go cultivate in a shady place..."
Environment was an important factor for cultivation too. That's what he concluded after looking at various people in his past life.
So basically he Cultivation that he was going to perform was suitable for all the places and could have been done anywhere, but the beginning stages had to be in the darkness.
That was the only problem. It was fine if here to do now but the power developed will be less.
"Sigh... now where do I go?", he regretted coming here for a second because there was no shade due to the absence of leaves.
On top of it, there was a lot of noise nearby due to the villagers fighting or quaralling.
Even if it was a bit far away, the noise was easily being heard. Not only that, he had used a lot of concentration to form the technique which was now complete in his head.
Because of that he wanted to rest a bit in order to relax his mind.
"Yes, let me first cultivate normally... from tomorrow I will start the Cultivation technique.", immediately after saying that he began the Cultivation in order to increase his Qi and soul power.
Some small light orbs started to appear and entered his body. A few moments later, some weird purplish-black coloured orbs appeared which entered his body.
It seemed as if the last few blackish orbs were coming from the tree behind him.
It was indeed not an ordinary tree and maybe it had a lot of Qi in it, it was precisely because of that the small black orbs of lights were being formed.
His Cultivation got a boost and his soul power started to rise tremendously.
'Tf? This is...'
He wasn't able to believe the extraordinary power that was surging inside his body.
'This is great! I thought about pausing after raising my soul powers from 18 zodi to 50 zodi but at this rate I might as well breakthrough to the bronze rank of Lower Martial realm'
He kept thinking about it due to the unusual amount of progress that was occurring and that would help him to increase his Zodi!
'Zodi' usually called as Soul Points is the energy quantity that is used to measure measure the soul power of a martial artist.
When a minimum requirement of Zodi is met, the martial artist can breakthrough to the next realm or next level.
In order to breakthrough to the bronze rank of Lower Martial Realm, 100 Zodi were required. It was the same for other ranks.
Each rank required a minnimum Of 100 Zodi to move on, but as the ranks became higher, the difficulty to increase them increases and the chance to breakthrough decreases.
"Oh my God... I literally don't know what's happening but it seems like a large amount of energy is being poured into me...", he was being empowered greatly, but the tree behind him was slowly shrinking completely.
