The Six Legendary Cores Of The Devas - Part 2
Ryuu kept running with all his might and even before he had realised it, it was already night time.
The moon was high up in the sky which marked that it was almost midnight. It was too cold right now since he was deep in the forest where sunlight used to reach rarely.
On top of that there were many more water bodies nearby which tended to decrease the temperature. Also it was nearly winter season which was why this low temperature was understandable.
Ryuu thought about lighting a fire place with the help of which he could warm his cold body which was making him experience numbness.
But at the same time, that would attract many beasts which might be troublesome to him because of which he refrained from doing so.
"Sigh, I need to somehow manage this cold...", in his last life such minimal amount of cold didn't affect him at all since his soul force was more than enough to keep him warm and prevent the chilly breeze touch him.
But right now his tiny bit of power would be of no use. Instead if he ran out of energy then he wouldn't be able to defend himself from danger because of which he was hesitant to use.
He thought that exercising was the best way to heat his body and thus started to move his body and tighten himself.
Even the moonlight wasn't able to enter the place because of many trees due to which it was completely dark so he decided to stand in top of a boulder and exercise.
He started doing it which slowly warmed his body little by little and then soon the coldness that he was feeling started to fade away.
"Ha... now it's feeling good.", he was a bit relaxed right now because of the internal heat that was generated.
He thought about resuming his search but it was night time so it wouldn't be safe to continue any further.
Even though the chances of meeting the beasts was minimum, there were still many left in the forest which had been surviving after escaping from strong cultivators and that meant that the beasts would have been exceptionally strong.
"Well, there is a good amount of Qi here... it's better to cultivate for a while.", immediately after saying this he started cultivating while forming a force field around him using his little soul power.
It was not exactly to take impact, in fact the soul power which he used to for a force field was actually erasing his presence.
It was a secret technique which he had learnt in past life called - Camoflage Sutra.
It is a technique quite opposite to what assassins use. They try to conserve their soul power which would allow them not to get detected by anyone and would feel as if they were mere humans.
Opposite to that the Camoflage Sutra radiated soul force at the exact same frequency as the amount was regenerated or replenished which matched with the nature's way.
By doing this, the beasts would feel as if he were a normal old rock or a tree and would just pass by neglecting any thing else.
However the fatal flaw of the technique is that it won't affect high level beasts that are at High Martial Realm. Also, the any movements shouldn't be generated otherwise the beasts might get attracted in the end.
But Ryuu has mastered this technique and evolved it into such a degree that even if he were to move, no one could detect him.
Thus, while using this he started to cultivate slowly and steadily.
A large amount of small fire balls that were glowing with yellow radiance gathered around him which were actually disappearing the moment they touched Ryuu's body.
It was as if they were entering his body and strengthening him.
While he was cultivating he felt some weird energies inside his body.
Six different coloured lights were seen flowing inside his meridians that were moving at a high pace.
They were Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Black and White coloured lights which seemed like threads.
Ryuu was confused when he saw them with his inner eyes. It took him a while to realise what the were and the moment he realised, he stopped cultivating and shouted.
"OH MY GOD!!!!! IS THIS FOR REAL!!?", his supriseness was beyond imagination. He couldn't even think anything straight right now.
"This... how? How did this happen?", he couldn't understand anything.
If the six cores had come from the future then that meant that the Devas failed to get the cores. Also, there would have been another 6 cores existing in this timeline. So he was confused regarding which was the true one.
"What can I say...? This is...", he remembered a tale about the Six Legendary Cores That has been passed down since generations.
Usually the humans or cultivators choose cores and absorb its power, but there were 6 such cores which were so powerful that it seemed as if they had a wisdom of their own.
These cores chose the cultivators instead and no one could forcefully make them submit.
Only the legendary Devas could hold them and utilise their power. That was what being said since ancient times but right now all the six cores had been fused with Ryuu's soul. No matter what happened, unless his soul were to be destroyed, the six cores would always be with him.
"Unbelievable... is this a dream? Yes, it might be a dream because this is too real to be true!", it was a reaction that had to be expected by anyone who would have a similar experience.
He punched himself and then slapped. He hit his head with a rock and after beating beaten up by falling down on the ground, he understood that this was reality.
"Shit! If I had known it since earlier that I had these cores then I could probably practice those techniques! Well, now too is the perfect time to practice it.... let's do this!"
There were a certain ancient techniques left by the previous Devas who wielded those cores. Those techniques were used to bring out the power of the cores. Ryuu has read all of them since he was supposed to become a Deva because he was considered a genius.
But no one knew that he would die while being at ASURA realm.
"Yes... with the help of these cores... I will dominate this world and become the strongest DEVA of all times!"
That was not just a vague ambition which he declared right now. It was something that could be possible because all the cultivators who had been DEVA till now could weild only one core while he was able to fuse completely with all six of them.
"Hahahaha! Hahahaha!", he was laughing crazily by seeing how lucky he was right now.
"Just wait for me you bastards... I will pay you all back ten times.", he was referring to all those people who had belittled him and tormented him in his past life.
After saying this he resumed his cultivation since he had to first reach the Bronze rank of Lower Martial realm only after which he could start cultivating the [Heavenly Attributes] cultivation which were related to the six legenadary cores.
