Raven could be said was leisurely solidifying his new cultivation Realm but that was not the case . His Divine Sense had finally crossed the barrier with him advancing to another Major Cultivaton Realm . Raven's soul had become more than 5 times stronger after gaining his Inheritance but the Divine Sense only increased double because of the limit of the cultivation Realm . But now after Raven reached the Martial Soldier Realm , his Divine Sense also broke past the limit and increased to 4000 meter radius around him .
Raven deduced that by the time he advances to Peak Level 1 Martial Soldier Realm , the his Divine Sense would increase to 5000 meters in radius. With the new radius , Raven could see the number of beasts so he was currently feeling nervous. It looked like the hundreds of beasts were hesitating to advance further but Raven was not that confident in his conjecture. Raven knew that the serpent was inherently a strong poison beast so even his dead body must contain too much poison .
But Raven could not be sure that the beasts wont attack because the serpent was now dead but Raven's smell was no hidden . Fortunately he had chosen to cover the undergoing hole entrance with the corpse of the serpent otherwise Raven would have no choice to face these beasts with newly advanced cultivation. Raven knew that he needed to solidify his cultivation first to not suffer from backlash . So he could only nervously continue to run his qi inside while keeping an eye on the beasts . The feeling was too uncomfortable because he had to watch these beasts for hours while being afraid of sudden attacks .
In the end hours passed and Raven was finally done so his expression changed to cold because he wanted to slaughter all these beasts who forced him too feel fear for so much time . Raven flew out of the hole and landed on the ground from the sky with a thud while eyeing these beasts with a ferocious expression . Raven without any words , unleashed his Hundred Cleave Skill and sent 100 compressed qi blades towards these beasts .
The beasts which were before menacing now cowered in fear because they saw the other beasts being slaughter by the qi blades without any resistance . Each qi blade took the lives of at least 10 Level 2 Beasts before completely dissipating. In the matter of seconds , the ground was filled with hundreds of beast corpses and the remaining beasts chose to flee in a hurry . Raven only smiled coldly at the act of these beasts but did not pursue them because he was here on a task.
Fortunately Raven had read many books on these Demon Beasts so he was familiar with the location of cores inside their bodies . The serpent's core was located inside its abdomen so Raven had to waste more than 2 minutes to find the core from the more than 30 meter long corpse . After spending more than an hour and collecting 1 Peak Level 3 core and more than 200 Level 2 cores , Raven continued to run forward in the direction of the Poison Garden.
No map was needed as the black mist was clear to the naked eye . No beasts attacked Raven on the journey which made him smile because he at least managed to gain some time after slaughtering those beasts . He stood before the Black Mist while watching the green tress on his back . The scene was mystical but Raven had no time to admire it because he took a second to conjure a thin golden qi armor which covered him whole from head to toe .
With his qi control, this was an easy task but even Raven who had too much qi pool compared to his peers was nervous. If he did not find Simon Kumar in the distance of 20 kilometers then Raven decided to come back.
The poison was a thing that his body which felt no pain , could not cope against . Raven if plagued by the poison , could only hope to resist it for some hours with his pure qi but Raven did not want to experience such dread if he could help it . Thus he made up his mind and finally stepped inside the Black Mist .
Raven passed through a small barrier of Black Mist and arrived inside a dense forest . But the difference from outside was that , the tress were completely withered and he could see many swamps producing some kind of acid all the time . The danger level was extreme so Raven fully concentrated his Divine Sense to not encounter any beasts that were native to the Poison Garden . The knowlege about the beast habitat inside this Garden was not definite because it had been centuries since the Sects sent some kind of exploration teams here . According to the known knowlege , there were Level 4 beasts inside this Garden so Raven decidedly chose to avoid them . He would love to fight some Level 4 beasts to test his current strenght but not here as the terrain was too unfavourable and scary . The number of dark swamps were innumerable and even with his Divine Sense , Raven was not hundred confident to avoid all of them during a battle .
The most important thing was that during battles, his qi would be exhausted faster and Raven had to expend a portion of it to continuously maintain the qi armor . It requires concentration but anything could happen during a battle so Raven wanted to avoid battles even with lower level beasts in this treacherous area .
Raven continued to advance slowly avoiding the dark swamps which were clear with his Divine Sense . The mist hot concentrated more as Raven advanced but it was still bearable with his thin qi armor . Sam had advised Raven to maintain a thin qi armor until the 6 kilometer distance inside and now Raven could feel the reason himself . Soon he crossed the 6 kilometer mark and felt like he had passed through one more barrier but this time the concentration of the mist became more than three times from before . The forest now had no trace of even withering tress which proved the fact that the poison was much more concentrated from now on .
Fortunately Raven could feel that his qi being pure could still resist the mist for a while so he did not increase the qi concentration on the armor . With his acute senses , Raven could hear roars of powerful beasts from the distance but he had heightened his senses to feel the sound of human breathing instead.
The Divine Sense truly was magical as Raven could feel everything inside 4000 meter radius around himself . But Raven had to expend much soul power to heighten the senses constantly and he could continue this state for only few more hours before his soul power would be exhausted by half . Raven wanted to preserve at least that much for the back trip .
Raven sighed in relief when he finally heard the sound of human breathing at his left side . Raven had now crossed more than sixteen kilometers inside so he was going to leave soon if he had not found anything soon . The dark swamps had increased in number but there was still much space to walk so Raven slowly quickened his steps and finally saw the figure whom he had to spend so much effort to find .
Simon was currently a skinny figure but Raven who had some medicine knowledge knew that he was previously healthly but only fell in this state due to overusing his qi. The cells contained qi in good amount so cultivators can use them to supplement for qi but this method caused the cells to die faster and they could only be grown once again through providing high nutrition for long periods of time . Raven frowned as he saw some battle axe Marks on Simon's body but fortunately none of the wounds were lifethreating .
Raven could feel the determination to live from Simon as he chose to not heal his wounds further but use the qi to maintain qi armor instead . His choice proved right in the end as Raven arrived in time . Simon unfortunately could not rejoice right now because he was currently unconscious and the qi armor was being maintained through unconscious actions. Raven just smiled at the preservance of the kid as he was only 18 or 20 years old but possessed such strong will power .
Raven slowly held Simon in his arms and could feel that his body had lost too much weight . Raven now considered The Floating Cloud Disciples as his friends albeit only the good ones . So he felt anger when Raven once again eyed these tens of Axe wounds. But he chose to suppress his anger because if Raven unleashed any kind of aura then he would invite disaster in the form of demon beasts.
