Sect Leader Wushang
" Sam , I'm warning you to never assign such missions to me again . I had to face so many beasts and even that bastard serpent but it was fine . The Poison Garden was also fine but I cannot promise you to spare such pampered children in the future . That bastard refused to give me any information about his enemies and I would have left him behind if we had encountered them . Anyway , don't try to bother me again with such matters. "
Raven was currently scolding Sam as both of them drank tea inside the study room of Mark. Sam had no choice but to hear the complaints silently as this was his fault and it was true that he had no idea about the temperament of Simon . He even had no idea about Raven's personality as he hated spoiled people to the bone .
" Young Master , please dont be angry anymore. Young Miss is going to exit closed door cultivation soon and I dont want her to become angry at me . " Sam only lowered his head in shame because he was truly unsuitable for the job his Master has left him with .
Hearing that Daisy was going to come out , Raven instantly forgot about Simon and warm smile hung upon his previous angry face . He truly liked that loli because her stubborn personality was too cute .
" Ah.. Young Master , Sect Leader had ordered me too bring you to him after you come back . "
Raven furrowed his brows because he had no good impression of this Sect Leader who employed so many useless Elders in his Sect . Still he was a Disciple so he had no right to refuse the summons from the Sect Leader .
" Then let's go "
" Young Master , do you have any problems regarding Sect Leader Wushang ? " Sam asked in a low voice because he was afraid that someone may hear this . The Sect Leader was known to be a fierce character who was gentle in nature but his personal disciples were too arrogant . Sam had seen the brutal end of many disciples who had misspoken about the bad rules assigned by the Sect Leader . These personal disciples were ruthless so Sam did not want them becoming enemies with Raven .
" Nothing Sam , you just tell me the location and I will go there personally. I know that you are extremely busy with the unfamiliar work so this will be much better . " Raven smiled and reminded Sam as he could see that Sam was uncomfortable about meeting Wushang .
Raven wanted to stay inside the Sect for a while so he decided to see the character of Sect Leader with his own eyes. Raven knew of the fact that not every superior who make bad choices were bad in nature too .. Raven hoped Wushang to be this kind of character too.
There was a lone cliff inside the Sect which was located at the edge of the Inner Court . Wishing preferred to stay there most of the time and read various books according to Sam . The place was just a minute away from the mansion so Raven arrived there quickly.
The place was beautiful as under the cliff was deep abyss while in the distance one could see the never ending mountain range where the demon beasts resided . There was only a small two story building located at the edge while surrounding it was a small herb garden.
Raven was impressed by the sense of Wushang as only a gentle person could spend such effort to build this garden . These Spiritual Herbs belong to different kinds so raising them at one place required knowledge of formations and patience to take care of them for prolonged amount of times.
Raven gently knocked at the door of the small house and soon it was opened from inside. An old figure greeted Raven . He was wearing light blue robe while his wrinkled face had a kind expression . The elderly eyes contained a gentle light but Raven could feel fierce conviction hidden deep inside them . Wushang was too admiring Raven while touching his long white beard . His bald head and thick eyebrows were urging Raven to laugh but he forced himself to endure it .
" Disciple greets the Sect Leader . " Raven could feel no ill intentions from Wushang so he gave a small sincere bow . He was actually impressed as Wushang gave the impression of someone who possessed knowledge. This type of person was someone Raven could befriend with .
" Haha.. Raven , you are much more amazing than Mark said you were . I just wanted to meet the young man whom Mark allowed to become his Son in law . Well I can only say that I'm impressed. " Wushang said with a deep voice and unhurried tone which was not unpleasant to hear .
" Sect Leader is not too bad yourself . I can see that you are a patient man which is one quality I personally admire . " Raven looked straight into the elder's eyes and replied with a neutral tone .
Raven showed his stance that he was only interested in befriending Wushang and not interested in any other kind of bond . Raven could guess that Wushang must have invited him to become his personal disciple . But Raven was completely uninterested because he did not want to be unnecessarily bound to the Sect . Raven wanted to travel the world in future and he would only return to spend time with his family . Wushang seemed to be a nice man but Raven was only a little impressed. He had the inheritance of Alchemy Saint Wulong and Wushang on the other hand had little which he could teach him.
" It's too bad Raven but I dont mind at all . I have 3 personal disciples but they are turned out to be disappointing. They gained power but at the same time are plagued by it . I can only slowly teach them the right way but cannot change their inner personality. 3 of them are not suitable for inheriting the Sect but I just wanted to test my luck with you . Well , it was foolish to try stopping a dragon who is destined to fly away from this small region sooner or later . " Wushang knew that Raven had already provided with an answer so he too chose to clarify himself .
" I'm sorry Sect Leader . But you do not have to worry as I can compensate you by curing your little illness. Hmm.. blocked Accupoints due to internal injuries. Sect Leader can live for another fifty or so years so there is no need to worry at all . " Raven casually said but Wushang was stupefied after hearing the comment .
